Me and my family loved this place, very roomy and the views were awesome. Would recommend this to anyone for a vacation your just a short getaway. We all wished we had gotten it for a longer period. We will go back.

I just stayed August 21-23 for a little family reunion with my brothers and sisters as we all live in 5 different states. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and just the right size. All the beds were comfortable, there were plenty of couches, chairs, and having 2 dining room tables was perfect so we could all sit down at the same time. Thank you so much for a wonderful place for such a gathering. I told my family we should do this every year and would stay here again in a heart beat! I at least would want 4 days next time. I give Golden View Lodge ***** 5 stars

We had 2 families stay for a week in this beautiful cabin in the woods. The sleeping situation was great, the kitchen was well stocked including a Kuerig and a Crock Pot. A gated community and a community pool. There is river minutes away that has tubing that was fun. Great experience and the owners were available for any questions prior to the trip, we didn’t need anything while we were there. We would definitely stay again. Thanks for having us!

We just returned from a week long stay at Golden Oaks. We’ve been coming to the area to vacation for 10 years and this was by far the nicest place we’ve stayed. I really don’t need to look anywhere else. This place checks ALL the boxes for me. The cabin was clean, nicely furnished, comfortable beds, good water pressure and well maintained. We have dogs and finding a property with a fenced in yard is challenging enough but finding an enclosed, level yard is near impossible. Our non athletic dogs were very impressed! My girl had to go out early one morning and as I stood on the deck waiting, I heard twigs snapping in the woods. I shined my flashlight and there was a bear lumbering down the other side of the creek. Pretty cool! I loved how you felt far away from everything yet you weren’t far at all. We enjoy going to Cades Cove so it’s nice to be so close to the park entrance through the Metcalf Bottoms picnic area. We discovered Mountain Brothers general Store just down the road. They have a great coffee selection and I think picking beans to grind and brew will be a new tradition. We bought 3 lbs of 3 different flavors. Thanks again. We really enjoyed ourselves. Can’t wait to come back!

We had a great time! Loved the cabin especially the peaceful evening stargazing from the front porch.

My husband and I live in Florida with our two small children. All of our family is up north. We decided to try a "meet in the middle" family vacation. This trip exceeded our expectations! The cabin was spacious enough for everyone to enjoy it (11 people) and not feel crowded. We loved that there were 3 different decks to enjoy, so everyone could enjoy their morning coffee in peace. The jacuzzi tub was a big hit with the kids. The adults loved the hot tub and fire pit. There was just the right amount of seclusion. We weren't in the middle of nowhere, but also far enough in the woods that it was peaceful and quiet. Everything was within driving distance. We will definitely return to this cabin next year!

We have stayed at this cabin 4 times now and can’t wait to return. The view is amazing! The owners are awesome! We enjoyed the hot tub and pool this time around because we had our grandsons with us. They had a great time! See you in the fall “ Family Memories”.

This cabin provided plenty for us to do and enjoy. The first morning, my son was startled when a black bear decided to visit on the lower porch!.My husband and I loved the porch on the main floor - sitting there relaxing and enjoying the view. The hot tub was loved by all. I use a walker to get around and the cabin was great for me. The walk in shower was perfect. I brought my shower chair and was able to use it. The location was away from the rush of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg but close enough to go to. What we loved was the close proximity to the National Park. Definitely keep this on our list and hopefully next time all will be able to come.

Enormous fenced in back yard for your furry critters! The screened porch was great for morning coffee while watching the sunrise with no bugs! A nice relaxing stay.

This was the perfect t get away! Beautiful scenery, comfortable home and plenty of peace and quiet! Owners were easy to contact and very helpful when we had questions. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

We had a wonderful week here ! The cabin was beautiful . The beds were super comfy . We loved the fire pit & used it every night ! The pool table was a big hit too . There were a few little issues & they were taken care of right away . We would love to come back & stay here again !

We had a big group and had plenty of space in this beautiful cabin! It is the last one on the road -so very secluded to enjoy your privacy. It’s located close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge so you have plenty of places to explore. The beds are comfortable, the owners keep it clean and well stocked. I would highly recommend this cabin! The view is PHENOMENAL!

My wife and I had an incredible time at the Golden Memories Cabin! This cabin is ideal for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the smoky mountains and neat local towns in the area. The place was clean, fun (can't go wrong with the views, pool table, hot tub, jacuzzi, and grill!) I highly recommend this cabin and can't wait to come back in the future!

I was told that the view was breathtaking. It was that and so much more. As soon as you walk into the home you can see right through the back sliding glass doors. That view I will never forget. What a great floorplan also. 2 Master suites on either side of the home for privacy and the loft on the second floor gave everyone a "place" to go and enjoy the serenity. This home is so clean and welcoming. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could ever need. The nice Weber grill was used every night and even twice for breakfast. The hot tub seated 4 of us comfortably after our hikes in the mountains. And even the view from the hot tub was amazing. Kurt was super responsive with my questions before the trip. Greatly appreciated. I cannot recommend this home and these owners enough. I have given their info out a few times already just from my Facebook picture posts. Everyone wants to know where that wonderful place is! It was a 15 minute drive to the Great Smoky mountains and a 15 minute drive in to Pigeon Forge. Perfect spot. Do not forget to go to Cade's Cove when you are there. We saw so many Black Bears with cubs, Deer, Lizards, and tons of other wildlife. All with absolutely incredible views! Cannot wait to go back.

This cabin had everything we were looking for! Plenty of room to sleep everyone comfortably, super clean, and AMAZING views of the mountains! Also, the location was awesome as we were close to many outdoor activities, as well as grocery stores. Donn & Margaret were great hosts and super responsive to all of our requests. Great experience and great cabin!

We absolutely loved everything about this cabin! We loved having all of the rooms on the same floor. The beds were amazing for a rental property! We also loved the fenced yard for our dogs. I had my 85 year old mom with me and she loved this house too..and I didn’t have to worry about steps for her to fall on! We always prepare all of our meals when we rent a cabin so we don’t have to leave our fur babies alone. This house had everything you would need to fix a big meal... we truly enjoyed our weekend even though it was cold and rainy,

This was our second time staying in one their cabins and this was the best cabin to fit our three generation family. Love the views of the sunset. We fit comfortably for our family of 8. We are parents with two adult children, one married with three children of their own. Very clean and spacious. Very nice people to deal with, looking forward to our next trip!

This was our first big family vacation. This cabin was everything we expected and was told it would be. The owners were very very nice to us and always responded to our questions. Before, during, and even after the trip.

We definitely recommend this beautiful, open floor plan cabin! We very much enjoyed our stay here and so did our mini Goldendoodles! The gas fireplace is a huge plus along with the hot tub! Jerry was very quick to get back to my texts and helpful when I called as we arrived with a few questions. Everything is within 15 min away depending on traffic. We enjoyed Wears Valley and Townsend area too which we had never experienced before. If you are a wine drinker they have a wine trail to check out as well. We will be back again!!

We were very pleased with our cabin and its convenient location in relation to Townsend, pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. While also feeling secluded and comfortably away from the hectic Christmas crowds.

We had a great family trip and enjoyed the cabin very much! Waking up in the morning and sitting on the front porch with a cup of coffee really added to the experience. Recommend staying at any of these cabins. Worth it worth it worth it!!!

Black Bear Falls Cabin has been our "Home Away From Home" for the last 7 years when we have our family vacation to celebrate Thanksgiving & Christmas. The cabin has always been clean & neat. The hospitality of the Tisch family is remarkable.

What a beautiful spot! The house and scenery could have been better. Very clean and comfortable. Just far enough away from town to be peaceful but easy access to everything. Highly recommend and we will be back!
