We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at family memories cabin. We found the cabin exactly as was described in words and pictures. The area was peaceful and we enjoyed the view of the mountains.

My 3 children and I enjoyed a lovely weekend at the Grand View cabin in the Tennessee mountains. Furnished beautifully and cozy. My favorite was the back porch, overlooking the tree filled mountainside. Thank you, Kurt and Jen, for the opportunity to stay at your cabin!

This cabin was a great place for our board game weekend with friends. Its in a secluded area and has plenty of parking for several cars. There are plenty of rooms and places to sleep. The dining room table is so big and perfect for playing board games or feeding several people. We were definitely happy with our choice of cabin and would stay here again for sure.

Our family had a great time at your amazing cabin for our annual reunion. We enjoyed meals together, playing pool, views from all the decks and the comfortable space for all 12 of us. The title says it all. We come to the Gatlinburg area every November for work. This was our first year staying away from the Gatlinburg hype and we loved every minute of it. The cabin is close enough to restaurants and grocery stores to be convenient but far enough away from all the touristy stuff to feel away from everything. The cabin was very clean and it had a fresh/new smell, which was very welcoming. The lay out is perfect for our family with plenty of room. The views are just stunning. Sunrise and sunset are breathtaking. The directions to the cabin were very clear and simple. The owners, Donn & Margaret Tisch, gave us plenty of information ahead of time and were very professional and friendly. We will definitely be staying again and have already recommended this place to several of our family and friends who frequent that area for vacations. Thanks so much for allowing us to experience a wonderful trip in a wonderful cabin.

We’ve been coming to the mountains for years and I always wanted to stay in Wears Valley, but this house is nestled in the heart of the Valley! It sits on a quiet road with an unobstructed view of the most beautiful mountain landscape. This home is conveniently located in the heart of everything. 10-15 minutes from The Smoky Mountains park, 5 minutes from the foothills parkways, 20 minutes from Pigeon Forge Parkway, but in a quiet peaceful Valley. It really is a perfect home away from home. The house is spacious, super clean and the great room is open to the kitchen for a dynamic entertaining area. The game room is secluded to itself, so you can rest while the kids play and not be disturbed. The washing machine and dryer are full sized if you need to wash clothes before heading home like I do. It has a nice big yard with outdoor entertainment as well, a hot tub after the long day of exploring with a nice fire pit, that is hidden by a privacy fence with ivy and shrubs. This home has the perfect spot to sit in peace as you watch the sun rise with a spacious deck. The owners are very friendly, when we had unexpected snow, they worked with us to make sure our drive home was safe. I loved the Christian decor and I will most definitely stay here again. It had every single thing we were looking for in our home away from home!

I absolutely enjoyed myself. The view was spectacular and the fireplace was very romantic. We stayed in the hot tub for hours even burned the lamb on the grill because of the being lost in conversation and the bed was so comfortable we could have slept all day. Pigeon Forge was not far with plenty to do. Perfect and much needed getaway. Will definitely be back

We had a great stay. The cabin was all we expected and more.

We loved Black Bear Lodge! The cabin was beautiful, very clean, and had everything we needed. We will plan to return!

We truly enjoyed our time in this cabin. Every thing was very clean and in working order. The layout of this cabin is perfect. Comfortable beds and plenty of comfortable furniture to spread out in different rooms and enjoy our down time in between adventures in the park. We will definitely stay here again when we come to the area.

The cabin was so clean and beautiful! We saw two adult bears and two cubs during out stay!!

We travelled to the area to visit the Great Smoky Mountains with five kids aged 9-12. We had a great time at the Park, but the kids were always anxious to get back to the cabin to enjoy the amenities :)

We rented this home to be near the wedding venue for our daughter’s wedding in Townsend. It was perfect. The location was great, set between Townsend and Pigeon Forge with easy access to the National Park. Many of our relatives had difficult drives to their cabins. I’ve been there, done that and was grateful for an easy drive. The house was clean, spacious and had beautiful views. The hot tub and front porch with seating was great. We did not use the fire pit, but would have it we had more time. Same with the pool table. The lower level was great and the washer and dryer is a plus. We would definitely stay again.

Our very large family stayed at Black Bear Lodge for a wedding. We were there from 10/16/19 - 10/20/19. The total area of Townsend is fantastic. The Black bear cottages we stayed in were great we rented two cottages. The bear lodge is the one we stayed in, it is set up great for a lot of people. It was clean, had everything for a long stay, and the fireplace was awesome. Kids had a blast in the hot tub. These are very nice cottages. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed for 3 nights at Simply Golden and had a blast. The cabin is clean, comfortable, roomy, and beds are fabulous! We needed a good night's rest for our daytime adventures. The cabin is close enough to trails for hiking, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg for great food, sightseeing fun and shopping! But most of all we enjoyed sitting out on the porch looking out over the mountains watching beautiful sunsets and listening to music playing down in the valley. What a great location!!!

Well, it is absolutely clear why the cabin we stayed in is called "Simply Golden" -- the glow of the sunset within the main front room is absolutely amazing. We loved everything about our stay and are already planning another trip back. Thanks so much for everything!

The cabin was comfortable and provided a "home away from home." The best part, though, was the amazing sunsets viewed from the balcony. We live in Maryville, TN and my parents drove up from St. Augustine, FL. The cabin provided a great place to spend time together! We would love to stay again!

We loved our stay in the Simply Golden cabin! Everything was well cared for and clean. The deposit was refunded as promised. Will definitely stay again!

The cabin was just lovely. We loved having the hot tub after a long day of hiking. Very relaxing!! We loved the large screen tv. Enjoyed breakfast every morning on the screened in porch. Great location and not too far to drive to see Cades Cove, Metcalf Bottoms(The Walker Sisters story was fascinating), Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail, shopping in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and into Townsend, TN. Be sure to stop by Captain Dave's place in Townsend. He is a character. We also got to see two cubs in the neighborhood. Not sure where mama bear was but we didn't feel threatened at all. We would rent this cabin again for sure!!

Our trip to the Family Memories cabin was fantastic. We arrived to a clean, spacious, and cozy cabin and enjoyed every moment of our stay. The view sitting out on the front porch in the morning is gorgeous and relaxing in the hot tub on the more secluded back porch in the evening was just what we needed.

The cabin was very nice and relaxing we enjoyed the view of the smokies and enjoyed sitting on the porch. It was our 5 year wedding anniversary. We’ll definitely come back in the future and will definitely recommend the cabin to our friends and family.

This cabin was amazing. Had pretty much everything you needed and was in the best location. Close enough to go do things and perfectly secluded with lots of privacy. The cabin was plenty big enough for our group of 13 and we only wish we could have stayed longer! We also saw a little black bear that came on the back porch! How fitting for a cabin named bear falls!

We have been staying in this cabin for several years now and could not be any happier. It is located in the quiet side of the smokies but is a short ride to cades cove and the park, pigeon forge and gatlinburg. We will be booking again soon for our next visit. Thank you again as always!

This cabin was everything we hoped for and more! It quiet, romantic, clean and close proximity to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The drive to Cades Cove was around 25 minutes and there was plenty to do on the way. This was everything we wanted for our wedding weekend! We will definitely be booking this cabin again!

We enjoyed our weekend at Golden Oaks cabin. Everything was perfect. Donn and Margaret made sure of that, even hand delivering a Keurig. We would love to come back for an extended stay because a weekend is just not enough! Loved it and you will too!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and the fenced yard was perfect for the pups. Will definitely stay here again. Actually thinking this will be a great place for family gatherings.

Our family stayed at Heaven’s View cabin. It was wonderful to see mountains right outside the windows. They had fantastic views. It is really close to Cades Cove which made going there easy. The cabin was nice and clean with lots of room.

Donn and Margaret your home is the perfect place for the two of us and our dogs. Everything was clean and welcoming, and had everything we needed for our stay. Our dogs found the fenced-in yard to be the best and put in some serious mileage checking out every spot. Having found this gem, we need not waste our time searching for places to stay. We are definitely making Golden Oaks our home away from home. Looking forward to our visit next year. Many thanks!

Loved staying at the Golden Memories cabin! It was far enough away but still easy to get in and out of to go hiking and hit the trails. Very clean, very relaxing. Love that it’s in a meadow with a fire pit and hot tub: plenty of opportunity to just spend time at the cabin and enjoy the Mountain View’s!

We had a great time, the place has an awesome view, was very pretty inside, clean and had lots of space not cluttered with a bunch of stuff. Would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our stay at black bear lodge wonderful cabin with all amenities needed. Had a question while in the cabin emailed the owner got response within 5 minutes. Owners are always quick to respond to any questions about reservations also. We rented from owners in 2016 and now in 2019 will rent from them in a couple of more years when we return. Great experience.

Our family really enjoyed our stay, the place is very clean, the view is absolutely beautiful, our kids keep asking when can we come back.
