Bear Lodge is supreme lodging in every way! It is perfectly located for families who enjoy exploring the national park, while avoiding the bustle of the tourist towns. But, if Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge do spark your interests, Bear Lodge is convienantly located with easy access to either one. We found the cabin to be perfectly clean, with every luxury imaginable!

This year was our second time to stay at the Golden View Lodge. April was a wonderful time to visit the Smokey Mountains. We enjoyed a fire pit in the evenings and Relaxed in the hot tub. Sitting on the porch in the morning having coffee and enjoying the view of Wear' s valley was amazing. We really feel so comfortable at this cabin. It is wonderful for a group like ours. We are looking forward to next year when we can return to Golen View Lodge for another vacation.

Absolutely loved the cabin. The beds were so comfortable. The scenery was stunning. Beautiful all the way around. I would suggest updating the stereo to one that has an aux plug. Would gladly come back again.

Twenty nurses getting together after 50 years to celebrate our graduation from E.T.B.H. School of Nursing ! The cabin was perfect ; there was plenty of room for all to sleep; plenty of room for us to gather around tables or in the living area. There were lots of rockers on the porch to view the mountains and the valley below, and it was a spectacular view!!! Thank you for a wonderful place to relax and renew friendships.

My stay at the Golden Memories cabin could not have been more satisfying. The cabin was clean and well maintained, the bed was very comfortable to sleep in after long hikes, and the seclusion from other tourists was my favorite feature. This cabin exceeded my expectations and when I visit the Smoky Mountains again, I will be staying at this cabin. The name "Golden Memories" is definitely fitting, as I got engaged here too!

We held a staff retreat at Golden View Lodge and it was a perfect place to not only do some learning, but have some fellowship and fun as well! The cabin had so many nice amenities, beautiful views, and comfy beds...we'll definitely be back!

This cabin was perfect. It was in a great location with wonderful views. We will stay here again in the future. I would definitely recommend this cabin.

We have rented this.home for the past three years, staying five days to a week each Spring. It has always been spotlessly clean and well equipped. The view from the well-furnished deck is what keeps us coming back! The location is perfect-- quiet but close to the park entrance, a good grocery, fried green tomatoes at Beef and Trout, and the best bbq ever at Real Pit (with lovely riverside seating .) The house can keep everyone entertained with the hot tub and pool table, even on rainy days. HIGHLY recommended.

Our stay at Black Bear Falls cabin was the best. Where were 8 of us, my husband, myself and our three adult kids and their significant others. There was plenty of room for privacy and an open floor plan when we gathered. The cabin was very conveniently located to all the attractions in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Also just 10 minutes from the entrance to the National Park. We all LOVED this cabin. It is beautiful, clean and my family made memories there. We will be back!!! My husband and I rented The Golden Memories Cabin to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary. The cabin was everything we hoped it would be, comfortable, relaxing, private, and we wanted mountain views from our hot tub. We got it all and more. The cabin was more than we expected lots of room and very cozy. We had our three grown daughters (one from AZ) together for first time in years and memories we were able to make in this cabin. There was plenty of space for all and areas you could have some quite time if needed. We enjoyed the fire pit it was nice just to enjoy the quiet outdoors and sit by the fire and let life pass by for a change we have told all our friends about how peaceful and nice this cabin is and we hope to return with a group of our friends. This quaint cabin tucked away in the Smoky Mountains comes with picturesque views and relaxing amenities. The name 'Golden Memories' is certainly apropos; my spouse and I found the perfect photographic moment amidst the rising morning sun.

My husband and I celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary at Golden View Lodge, and we had all 3 of our children plus significant others with them, so it became a family affair. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Smoky Mountains. The cabin was perfect for our needs, with plenty of beds, a nice kitchen and game tables for our inside time. We enjoyed s'mores over a fire in the fire pit one evening. There were plenty of linens and the cabin was very clean. We hope to return someday and explore the areas we did not have time to explore on this trip!

we have been coming to wears valley and the surrounding towns now for the past 25 years, always finding the best home for our needs as we travel with dogs. this home was perfect for that. one level that has everything you need. and very hard to find a home with a yard for the dogs. the home itself clean comfortable and the view was outstanding. I cook a lot and the kitchen also had everything needed to do so. this was a special anniversary trip for us and this house was the right choice for us. great location away from the noise but close enough in minutes to it. I could pick the stars right out of the sky. and if you need quiet you got it .most importantly the owners were great to work with I must add that. so this was for sure a five star rating.

The worse thing about this place is saying goodbye! It couldn't have offered more or been more perfect! Our new favorite vacation getaway ....will be booking our return visit for this fall very soon! Can't wait to get back there & unpack!!! :)

What a great cabin for our group. We have been going on trips to watch the final four for 36 years. We come from all over. Cincinnati, St Louis, Omaha, Atlanta and Indianapolis. We have been coming to the Gatlinburg area most of these trips and this is the first time we actually had plenty of space for all to stretch out. Easy access to the local grocery store, restaurants and golf courses. Very private and quiet. Nice to hear of the new changes to the cabin. As a group we really liked the cabin and like to come back if the cabin is available the first weekend of April in 2017. Only suggestion these old men made was maybe a larger screen TV in the living room area. Thanks again! Tom

This cabin is roomy--plenty of beds and baths. Also, plenty of seating in living room and dining. There is a beautiful view and plenty of parking. The location is wonderful, also. Would be nice if the refrigerator had an ice maker, so take your ice! Owners are wonderful to work with and are on top of all of your needs.

This is a great spot for a quiet stay away from crowds but with easy access to a pretty amazing national park. The cabin was very comfortable and quiet for times when we wanted to stay in to rest or read or cook - but allowed us to be in the park gawking at wildflowers, flyfishing in mountain streams, or looking for bears within 15 minutes or so. The fireplace got a lot of use this year as well on some chilly nights! This was not our first stay at the Black Bear Hollow Cabins, and I hope that there will be many more in the years ahead!

Easy drive from pigeon forge. Better than pics. Bed was very comfortable. Very private and the view from the hottub makes you want to stay longer. The owners are VERY accomodating and their cabin provided everything +.Just bring food, outside firewood and be ready to relax. Would have stayed another day if available!. This is one we will rebook. Ty

Had a blast. I hadn't been under the same roof with my siblings in over 25 years. It was great atmosphere to be house for the weekend together and nice giant cabin to house all of us. Thanks for the southern hospitality!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cabin. It was just as pretty as the pictures looked, and was a great place to relax. We especially enjoyed the hot tub with the mountain views! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here!

The Heaven's View cabin was conveniently placed for those who wanted to be tourists, the sight from every window and balcony was an amazing portrait of the Smokies, and the spacious cabin allowed for our 16 wedding party members and friends join us on our special day. It was a great deal, a great time, and we will be doing this again.

This is the second time that our campus ministry has booked a cabin with the Tisch family and we have no plans of ever booking with anyone else. The Tisch family have always been quick to respond to any questions, have strove to go above and beyond to make each stay the best one, and we always know that our stay will be top-notch. Bear Falls was roomy, the accommodations surpassed all expectation--beautiful scenery, large cabin, comfy beds, and plenty of seating--not to mention a fantastic all of this was at a fantastic price!

We very much enjoyed our 2 night stay in this beautiful cabin. The location was easy to find and just out of reach of normal life! The cabin was well maintained and very clean. The beds were comfortable. The real fireplace (not gas) was a great touch and a lot of fun as I enjoyed getting to play with fire! We also got plenty of use out of the hot tub and pool table. It was a great weekend and we will be happy to stay in this cabin again.

Our stay at golden memories was absolutely phenomenal. The cabin was perfect. Secluded enough but still close to pigeon forge and gatlinburg. Gorgeous mountain views and quiet all day and night. We would definitely love to return. Thank you for making our trip memorable!

We had such a great time enjoying your cabin! It was very clean and charming! To tell you the truth, I'm very OCD! I'm that guest that travels with my own bedding....mattress pad to my comforter. I did inspect...looked under the beds etc....everything was spotless. That is 5 stars!! My husband and our friends enjoyed some much needed down time! The perfect cabin for relaxing. We did enjoy being located in the best of both worlds. Not to far from Cade's Cove and not to far to Pigeon Forge. I try to always stay at Smokey Mountain Golden Cabin! You want be disappointed, Donn and Margarett treat you like family!

What a view! We had a great time at Heavens View. Couldn't ask for more. The only issue I had, was the bottom heating element in the oven burned out but these things happen and are unavoidable. The grill on the porch was very nice so I baked our dinner on it. Thank you for allowing me to rent your cabin. I'll be back!

We stayed 2 different weeks at this cabin in the same month. This cabin is very nice and roomy and has many windows with a great view of Wares Valley and surrounding mountains. It is on the side of a mountain overlooking beautiful country and was so peaceful and quiet. Also it is at the end of the road. As I`m writing this, this cabin is being remodeled. We can`t wait to see it and stay here again. The owners are so nice and accomidating that we would never consider renting from anyone else.

My boyfriend and I spent a very relaxing week at the Golden Memories cabin for our one year anniversary and to celebrate Valentine's Day. This is the second cabin that I have rented from Donn and Margaret and the cabins have always exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect and the pictures on the website are exactly what you get. We even had snow! The cabin was convient to everything. A perfect vacation spot!

What a perfectly wonderful weekend we spent at Heaven's View. From the easy access to the spotless, spacious cabin itself with everything we could possibly need, we couldn't be more satisfied with the time we spent here. The pictures do not do this cabin justice, it's much more beautiful in person! Donn was also kind enough to call us before check in to advise us that he had cleared the roadway! Our vacation at Golden View Lodge was great as always at Donn and Margaret`s cabins. The lodge was beautiful and so was the view. It is at the end of the road and secluded which we really liked. I loved the fire pit also. We will always stay at Smoky Mountain Golden Cabins when we come because of the beautiful cabins and the hospitality we always receive from the owners. This was our second year here and will be a yearly trip. The cabin is large and cozy with everything you need. I couldnt imagine another cabin with a better view . First class!! I highly recommend!!

From the moment you get off that car Your breathe will be taken away the view of the mountains they are so amazing, the serenity of the silence is just so peaceful.. And once inside the cabin you'll feel so at home cozy warm feel to the whole place. Very clean and spacious. My Fiancé and I loved our stay and would definitely be going back again.. Love it all
