This place is was exactly as described, but the panoramic views are even better in person. The owners have kept this rental in fantastic shape! Never ran out of towels, paper, dishes, and the water heated very quickly. Even with all the luxury amenities, we found ourselves just sitting outside enjoying the outdoors. There is a cabin right up the hill, but you can't see/hear them from any window or open area outside. You are truly secluded, but still close enough to Kroger for groceries. It's about a 35-45 minute commute from TYS airport. I would stay at this cabin again, hands down

The cabin was more beautiful in person than the pics. Everything was immaculate and the cabin had everything you can need - just bring your food. The views are outstanding there is space for everyone. The owners were wonderful to work with - quick on all responses - customer service outstanding! My family and I had the most amazing vacation in a stunning location and memories were priceless - we will be taking about this for a while.

This cabin had a wonderful view and it was so quiet there! The cabin is in a great location, We could be at Wears Valley or Pigeon Forge in 15 min. We saw tons of wildlife: turkeys on our first day and a BEAR on our second night in front of the cabin, which was the highlight of our trip! The ONLY complaint my group had was that one of the beds on the top floor was open to the living room area so there was no privacy for that bed. I would highly recommend this cabin to any one.

Incredible view from most every room! Lots of room to spread out and so peaceful. Fun pool table, hot tub with more amazing views, excellent tv and reception for watching movies and did I mention the view?! Short drive to Cade's Cove and wildlife all around. The owners were easy to work with and very responsive. Don't hesitate to book this great home, a perfect place to enjoy God's gifts.

Cabin was beautiful. Got to watch the "smoke" roll into and out of the mountains each day. Very clean place. Danny was very polite and great to work with. Close to pigeon forge, gatlinburg, and many other attractions.

We arrived on Wednesday, 04/08/15 and found the cabin to be everything that we had hoped for. This was a very nice, clean and up to date cabin located in a secluded location with an awesome view. The only disappointment was with the wifi that seemed to be very slow however the signal was better when using LAN connection. We would definnitely consider staying here again in the future. Thanks for everything....

For those of you looking for R&R, this cabin is a wonderful place to just hang out and relax. We were snowed-in in this beautiful cabin for a week and we stayed as snug as a bug in a rug. With 4 to 5 inches of snow we never lost power and enjoyed satelite TV, wireless internet, The HOT TUB, and the pool table. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook all of our meals, and to eat a good meal with that view was heavenly. The beds were very nice and comfortable as was all the furniture throughout the cabin. We would definately love to stay here again. The owner Danny, was very helpful and even called to check on us during the winter storm.

Upon arrival my husband and I quickly knew we had made the best choice in cabins. This huge cabin has enough space for any size family. It is located in a very secluded area with easy access. The kitchen was perfect as we had everything we needed to cook and never had to leave for any meal. The beds were heavenly and the whole layout felt very homelike. The view is breathtaking!!! We sat on the porch every chance we got. The wildlife is very friendly too! We had a raccoon literally watch us eat through the large floor to ceiling windows because he must have smelled the steaks we cook on the grill. The game room was so much fun and the hot tub very relaxing. I highly recommend this cabin for any size family because it is perfect. We are already planning our next trip to this cabin.

Thank you for the amazing rental. The busy-busy-busy of everyday life actually seems to slow down when you get nestled inside this comforting cabin or wrapped up in a blanket on the porch and take in the views of the Smokies. I didn't want to leave the rockers on the porch because I felt like some wildlife was going to walk across the mountain right in front of me and I didn't want to miss it! Thanks again....it was a treat to get all the family together away from everything else for a couple days.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Smoky Mountain Memories cabin! I could set on the sofa and look out at the views all day long, it was so peaceful and relaxing! The owners were so very nice and easy to work with! We really enjoyed this cabin, just wish we could have stayed longer! Plan on coming back again in the fall to see the leaves turn. This cabin is a wonderful place for family/friends. Located close to Pigeon Forge (literally a few minutes away) the cabin is the perfect headquarters for a Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Smoky Mountain vacation. The owners are super friendly, great with correspondence and quick to reply to any and all questions/concerns. Quiet area, great views, peaceful and serene. We didn't want to leave! There's plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and room enough for large groups to hang out together. This is definitely a place we plan on visiting again! Thanks for everything! We loved it. Words can't express just how impressive it is - pictures certainly don't do it justice!

Easy to locate. Close to many attractions. Very pretty views. Quiet and peaceful (makes you feel farther away than you really are). Owners are great and very easy to work with. A great getaway! Definitely going back soon! Cabin was very clean and decorated beautifully.

Cabin had spectacular views and was the CLEANEST we've ever rented. If cleanliness is what you're looking for, this is the place! Furnishings were new and comfortable, appliances new, flat screen TVs new. Each of the THREE bathrooms had a tub/shower combination which was perfect for our stay. No one had to wait for a bath or shower. Beautifully decorated with nice and abundant linens. Kitchen was also well stocked, with lots of empty cabinet space to store groceries. This cabin has two large CLOSETS! Plus FULL SIZE washer and dryer. Nice game room too. In my opinion absolutely no downside to this cabin! Would rent again without hesitation.

If you want seclusion, this is a perfect choice. No noise, gorgeous views and the cabin was wonderful. We have stayed in many cabins in the area over the past 16 yrs. and this will be one of our favorites. We will definitely stay here again. Clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable, supplied with everything you need. We didn't see the bear but we did see a HUGE gobbler who took his time leaving us. You truly can see 50 miles of spectacular mountain views. Thanks Danny and Tara for helping to make this a special anniversary.

We have been visiting the Great Smokey Mountains for over thirty years and this is the best place we have ever stayed!!! The views from the porch are beautiful.....it is very secluded....... and best of all you can see lots of wildlife!!! Yes, we even saw a bear on the porch!!!! The cabin is decorated beautifully and has everything you will need! Games, pool table, great televisions, and hot tub! Could not ask for anything to be any better! If you want a great place to relax and be away from others, this is the place for you! The owners were great to work with and always responded quickly to our questions. It is close enough that you can visit Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg within 30 minutes, but far enough in he woods that you feel far away from everything and everybody ! We will return, I think we have finally found our mountain getaway!!!

My husband and I stayed in Black Bear Cave at Black Bear Hollow Cabins for the week of our 32nd wedding anniversary. It was such a beautiful setting and the cabin was wonderful. I loved the huge king sized bed!! It was so comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub, and the Jacuzzi tub and the gas fireplace was lovely. Everything we needed for a quiet and peaceful week was there!! We will definitely stay there again!!

Black Bear Hollow is our most favorite place to stay in the Smokies. It's secluded, quiet, & inspiring. We are repeat guests (9-10 times), and would not think of staying anywhere else. The cabins are located in Wears Valley in a non-commercial area, but near enough to all the attractions to make it the ideal place to stay. We have had no problems with any of the amenities such as internet, and /or phone service from our provider. Once again, A GREAT PLACE & our home away from home.

Highly recommended. We spent our anniversary here and will definitely be back!! The hot tub was amazing and the beds were extremely comfortable.

We had an amazing trip, and truly enjoyed the stay at this cabin. Everything you need is there as well as things you didn't think of. We love the location and all around atmosphere. My wife and I stayed at Bear Creek as a surprise for her 61st Birthday. The cabin was fantastic and what a great location, close to everything but far enough away for peace and quite. We saw Turkeys and a coyote from the cabin. In Cades Cove we saw lots of Deer and the hike to Abrahams Falls was great. Really enjoyed the Hot Tub and just relaxing on the front porch. Hope to return with our Boy's and there families in the future.

We love the Townsend area so much. We were so lucky to find Black Bear Hollow Cabins, the cabins are very nice and clean but most of all the owners are the most caring and kindest people you will ever find, they make you feel like your family. Take our advice try them you will never be disappointed they are perfect!

Over the past five years we have stayed in several of the cabins. We come up once to twice a year and always stay at Black Bear Hollow. Always nice and clean. Just a lil piece of heaven in the mountains:)

We stayed at Black Bear Ridge and thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. The location was great, near Cades Cove. The cabin itself was very clean and well kept. I personally loved the appointments in regards to the furniture and décor. Everything we needed was provided so that it felt like home when we were there. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at black bear cabins. The cabin we had was clean and very pleasantly decorated. We liked the layout and the amenities. The keyless system made it very convenient for arriving and coming and going without a problem. I regret that we did not get a chance to meet the owners or anyone else at the property. We had come to hike and that's what we did. ..a lot! The hot tub was very welcome at the end of the day. The location was perfect. Secluded, yet close to town and great hiking trails. I would definitely use this facility again. Thank you for a great experience.

These are some of the best cabins at the best prices we have found. Secluded and they have everything you need except the food. The owners are very nice people too. The only cabins we stay at when we are in the Smokies.

We recently enjoyed another relaxing, long weekend at Black Bear Hollow. As always we found the cabin clean and well-maintained. Recent paving of the lane up the hollow made access even easier. This is a great location, quiet and peaceful yet an easy drive to shops and the park. Already checking the calendar for another visit.

My husband and I rented the Black Bear Creek cabin for our anniversary. We fell in love with the cabin and the little town of Townsend. The cabin was just as it appeared in the pictures on the website. The cabin was very clean and decorated so delitefully. I loved all of the bear decor and rustic looking furniture. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the remoteness of the cabins. We will definately be returning as soon as we can. Thanks so much for an enjoyable stay!

My first trip to Tennessee and it was amazing. The cabin was absolutely beautiful, I really had a wonderful time. I will definitely be returning next year.
