My husband and I spent a fabulous week at the Fenton Inn, Will and Lilia were wonderful hosts! The beautiful woodwork made the surroundings warm and cozy. Daily breakfasts were delicious! A 5 Star rating is most deserved! We will be returning next year for Autumn Glory and have already booked our room!

The Fenton Inn was amazing for our weekend getaway. Lilia and Will were amazing hosts, very accommodating and friendly. Fenton Inn is in a peaceful, quiet location near many great breweries, and wineries. Our stay began with a tour of the property, including gorgeous woodworking throughout. We loved the private balcony and the reading nook in the Hummingbird Room. Breakfast was delicious, with beautiful views. During our stay, we enjoyed a couples massage and the breakfast-in-bed/late check out add ons. We cannot wait to return for another trip, soon!

Spent a relaxing weekend at this beautiful inn. The hosts were very gracious and helpful with recommendations for hiking, dining, and wine tasting. The Inn has lovely clean rooms and great views of the surrounding mountains. Couldn’t ask for a better weekend!

The Fenton inn is hands down the the nicest inn I’ve ever stayed at. The owners are such incredibly kind people who treat you like family and make you feel very welcome. The attention to detail and craftsmanship of everything in the inn is truly spectacular. The views you get from everywhere in the inn are unparalleled to anything whether you are in your room, a hallway, or eating breakfast there is always something incredible to look at. If you are going to be in the area I would 10/10 recommend staying here you won’t regret it.

Stayed four nights and thoroughly enjoyed this delightful Inn at the base of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Close to many historic sites, vistas, and hiking trails. Lilia and Will were very hospitable and helpful. Much love and craftsmanship evident at every turn. Highly recommend!

We were impressed with all the 5 star reviews, so decided to give it a try; we were not disappointed! This is an amazing place. We stayed for 2 nights in these beautiful VA mountains. Right from the start, Lilia showed us around the place including maps and suggestions of places to visit during our stay. Our room was spacious, airy and super clean. Breakfast was delicious and served in a room with an beautiful view. The woodwork throughout the building was beyond description. Would definitely recommend and certainly stay there again!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in the Captain's Quarters during a recent weekend getaway. We loved the beautiful surroundings, the amazing intricate woodwork, and the enlightening conversations that we had with Will and Lilia. Lovely, friendly hosts with a beautiful inn. Incredible mountain views from every room. The woodworking throughout the inn is amazing One suggestion. In the upstairs bedroom where we stayed there was no place to hang or leave folded clothes. Perhaps a small armoire is needed? Thanks for providing a wonderful weekend getaway.

My girlfriend and I booked this for a weekend getaway so we could visit the area/breweries. The room was quiet and had an amazing beautiful view even with the fog we had on the first day. The entirety of the room was nice and modern.The shower was large and more than enough for one person. I opted to get the Cake for Two add-on which was an amazing strawberry cake. The bed was comfortable and the blankets provided were quite soft/warm. We both enjoyed the breakfast provided which had options for cereal, coffee, juice, water and freshly made food. Some of the options we had over our two days were yogurt with fresh fruit + fresh made granola, little egg cups with vegetables, sausage balls (which were superb) pancakes, waffles, and sausage patties. These were divided between the two mornings but were more than enough for the both of us. I'd definitely be happy to book it again as it was quiet and cozy and the perfect weekend getaway for us.

We stayed at the Fenton Inn last week to celebrate our first year anniversary and we were so impressed by the beauty of this place. Apart from the amazing views that this B&B offers, we were static to meet the owners who were a pleasure to be around. The first day we got there Lilia welcomed us and gave us information to plan our weekend. We are so impressed with this B&B that we would like to spend every anniversary there. I can't say enough good things about this place! It is beautiful and pristine clean. Will and Lilia couldn't have been nicer and the breakfast was delicious! The woodworking is awesome and the rooms are beautifully furnished. And it's quiet!! My husband never sleeps well in hotels because of the noise, but he had no problem here!

I was looking for a brief romantic getaway for myself and my girlfriend that was within a reasonable driving distance from DC, and I stumbled upon the Fenton Inn. I was drawn by its very eclectic exterior aesthetics (it's like your own slice of Europe in VA!), and was delighted to find out that the beauty of the inn was only matched by the friendliness of Will and his wife. The views of the mountain and countryside from the inn were amazing, the breakfast was fantastic, and the conversation and warmth from Will and his wife made my stay there unparalleled to any other hotel experience I've ever had. Would highly recommend this inn for any future travels, and I definitely plan on returning at some point for another getaway.

Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable and with an awesome view! Breakfast consisted of many healthy and homemade options. Food allergies and special diets were accommodated. The hosts, Will and Lilia. were so friendly and very helpful with suggestions of things to do and restaurants in the area.We can't wait to return! Thanks for an awesome experience. My amazing bride to be and I were looking for a quick trip to golf and unwind; our destination was Wintergreen, but thankfully for us Wintergreen was all booked up or else we would have missed this hidden gem! What a wonderful surprise to find such meticulous craftsmanship at a bed and breakfast. Will and Lilia are very friendly and accommodating to all their guest's needs. The Hummingbird Room was a delight to stay in, the king size bed slept wonderful, the shower was neat and high tech and we had our own patio and private garden to relax on. Every room is custom-built and designed with a different theme. The views are amazing everywhere you turn. We will be returning soon to stay in another room. You won't be disappointed staying here. You're welcome!

The Inn is magical and the hosts were outstanding. It is worth the trip to see the beautiful woodwork done by the Host. From trees cut from the land, he has created magical furniture pieces, doors, window casings and the list goes on and on. Fabulous breakfast, ultra comfortable rooms. My fiancé and I loved the Fenton Inn! The charm and craftsmanship is like nothing I’ve ever seen. It’s located close to Wintergreen and all the breweries you’ve come to know and love. Will and Lilia are great! You will not be disappointed.

We picked Fenton Inn because it looked like a unique Inn and that is what we were looking for during out 25th Anniversary weekend. The Inn has so much character and the innkeepers were so warm and friendly. Our romantic room was SO clean, as was the rest of the Inn. The breakfast had delicious homemade food and was different each day. We are sure you'll be impressed with the owner, Will's, special talent. You'll have to go to see for yourself what it is. You won't be disappointed!

We stayed for 2 nights at the Fenton. The attention to detail in this place is amazing- the owners built this place and you can see the love that is poured into it. Every single door is woodworked differently. The hospitality is amazing. I am vegan, and there was always something at breakfast for me- but the owners went out of their way to get me additional food to eat. So sweet!

What a great place to stay. The owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Lilia greeted us at the door when we checked in and gave us a full tour of the place. She was very friendly and gave advice on where to go. The craftsmanship of this hotel is like no other hotel Ive ever stayed in. The wood work was unbelievable. Both, Lilia and Will made sure we were fed at the breakfast bar which was so tasty and yummy. Every where I looked there was something else I noticed, the owners are neat and clean and pay attention to detail. Hot tub was great. Big parking lot. A+. I would stay here again. Its worth every penny.

Just a few minutes drive to Wintergreen, the Fenton Inn is a true handcrafted piece. All the trim details, furniture, doors, floor design .... everywhere you look you see handmade woodwork done by the innkeeper himself! The views are amazing, the feeling calm and serene. Our room was extremely gracious on space, not cramped at all. The breakfast included was not only tasty but really healthy and provided us fuel for a day of snowboarding. I'd recommend the Fenton Inn to anyone looking to stay in a comfy, clean, well crafted, and super friendly place!

Loved our stay at the Fenton Inn. It was by far the best place we have ever stayed. The wood work was amazing I loved looking for all the small details that we're added. The owners are friendly and sweet. We loved talking with them while we had breakfast. The Swallows Nest had beautiful views of the mountains, and the day and night sky. Can't say enough about how nice this place is.

My husband and I stayed two nights in the Hummingbird room. The room was great! We enjoyed the cozy fireplace in the room along with the comfy bed, soaking tub, and oversized towels and robes. Breakfast both mornings was delicious! Homemade waffles, sausage with diced apples, and mini omelette cups along with homemade granola were our favorites! Will and Lilia were gracious hosts. We have told all of our friends about this gem and are looking forward to our next stay

A carefully crafted bed and breakfast with nice character nestled in the blue ridge mountains. Every thing from the rooms, decor, views, breakfast was perfect. Will definetely recommend this place. A must stay if you are in the area.

My sister and I stayed 2 nights in the swallow nest,, loved everything. Great breakfast, super clean, beds,towels excellent. Played ping pong, watched movie in movie theratre. Close to restaurants, brewerys,distillery,wineries.

I have never been in a more unique, beautiful, clean, and welcoming bed and breakfast as this stay at Fenton Inn. The craftsmanship was noticeable in every room, and each room offered gorgeous views. The Inn was set up as a tudor style that made you feel like you were in a private village. The couple provided us with everything we possibly needed and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. It was conveniently located near several breweries, wineries, and distilleries. I have recommended to everyone I know and I hope we are lucky enough to come back at some point!

I want to thank Will and Lillia for a delightful stay at their magnificent creation. This couple have handcrafted a quaint Bavarian town with 5 star rooms throughout. The place clearly has a personal touch on every surface and a warm handcrafted charm, Will is obviously a gifted woodworker and designer/architect . Lillia creates delicious breakfasts for all to indulge in, especially the Granola she makes on site. I wanted to buy some to take with me! The Sheets/bed felt like the finest in Europe. Truly a place to experience

The quaint European-styled buildings were topped only by the art museum-like quality of the craftsmanship and fine detail everywhere we looked to give this Inn the warmest welcoming atmosphere and a feast for the eyes. Large windows were thoughtfully placed in each room and stairway to bring nature and the grand mountain views almost within reach. Delicious breakfasts were served in an atmosphere of rustic elegance. Will and Lilia's hospitality were second to none. We also enjoyed engaging conversation about world history with our knowledgeable hosts. We highly recommend the Fenton Inn as a rare gem of a mountain getaway.

Our stay at Fenton Inn was to celebrate our 42nd wedding anniversary. We could not have chosen a more beautiful setting. The Inn is located with great views of the surrounding mountains. The Inn itself is a beautiful version of a small scale mountain village. The owners and staff made our stay relaxed and allowed us to spend our time enjoying the wonderful appointments and details of the room and the Inn. Everywhere you look there are incredible handmade woodworking and inlaid pictures on the doors and even on the floors in some areas. The food is the best and we opted for breakfast in the room which was such a treat for my wife. I recommend the Fenton Inn as the best place we have ever stayed.

This was a wonderful experience and the food was amazing. The Inn feels like you stepped into a fairytale. The unique woodwork is so detailed and beautiful. The scenery of the mountains is so relaxing to gaze spin. We will definately return.
