This guide introduces the redesigned Reservations Tab in ReservationKey. The new version has been rebuilt using a modern framework and offers a faster, more flexible, and feature-rich experience for managing your reservations.
The new Reservations tab provides a streamlined interface where almost every field is interactive. You can click into reservation details, view pricing and tax breakdowns, manage custom columns, filter results, and even perform natural-language searches.
Statuses now appear as a colored line next to each reservation. You can expand the status area or add it as a visible column:
You can also display custom fields and tax-related columns directly in the table. Turn them on from the Manage Columns menu, and drag them into the desired order for a personalized layout.
Selecting one or more checkboxes to the left of reservations opens a menu of bulk actions, including:
The ability to delete or modify reservations depends on user permissions set in User Settings. If a user cannot delete or edit reservations, the related buttons will not appear.
Currency formatting in the Reservations tab automatically adjusts to the settings in your account. For example, switching from dollars to euros or pounds updates the entire interface accordingly.
The Saved Views feature lets you create and store multiple customized layouts:
Later, you can switch between different views (for example, “Default View” and “Financials This Month”) with a single click. Each saved view acts as a customized report layout for your needs.
The new filtering panel makes it easy to narrow down reservations by property, room, status, or balance:
The search bar now accepts natural-language queries, allowing you to type requests as you would speak them. Examples include:
When an AI-based search is applied, an AI indicator appears along with a list of the filters being used behind the scenes. This allows for fast, intuitive searching without manually setting filters.
Unlike the old version, you can now select and display multiple statuses at once in your results. This makes it easier to review a mix of pending, confirmed, and cancelled reservations in one view.
If you prefer the original layout, you can still switch to the Classic View. This ensures continuity while you get used to the new interface. The Classic View contains the same data but uses the older layout and filter controls.
The new Reservations tab introduces an improved, modern interface for managing reservations with more flexibility and control. Key benefits include:
