Text Messaging History

The History section provides a detailed record of all text messages sent and received through the ReservationKey text messaging system. It displays real-time information from the text messaging carrier, allowing you to verify exactly what was transmitted.

Viewing Message History

Each entry in the History section shows important details about a message’s status, including:

• Status: Indicates whether a message has been scheduled, sent, or received.
• Scheduled Time: The date and time a message is set to go out.
• Credits Used: Displays how many credits the message required or has used.
• Message Details: Clicking the information (i) icon provides additional information about the specific message.

Source of Data

The History section retrieves its data directly from the text messaging carrier. This ensures the information displayed reflects the actual transmission and delivery records as confirmed by the carrier.

Comparing with Correspondence History

It’s important to note the distinction between the Text Messaging History and the Correspondence History:

• Text Messaging History: Shows what was actually sent and received by the carrier.
• Correspondence History and Queue: Shows messages saved in your ReservationKey database, which may include messages that were scheduled but not yet transmitted.

Because the History section is synced directly with the carrier, it is the most accurate source for confirming which messages have been successfully sent or received.
