Quick SMS

The Quick SMS section allows you to send text messages instantly to one or more recipients. You can compose a new message on the fly or use one of your saved templates.

Sending a Message

You can send messages in two ways:

• To a specific number: Type the phone number directly into the message box. You can include multiple numbers by separating them with spaces.
• To selected guests: Use the guest search feature to choose which guests to message.

Searching for Guests

When sending to guests, you can narrow down your selection by:

• Selecting the property.
• Choosing whether the guests are arriving, departing, or currently staying.
• Entering a date range for the search.

After clicking Find Guests, a list of matching guests will appear. You can then select one or more guests to send the message to.

Using Templates

If you have predefined templates, you can use them to speed up message creation:

• Click View Template to preview what a template looks like.
• Click Add to insert the template text into your message.

Sending Options

After composing your message, choose when to send it:

• Send Now: Sends the message immediately.
• Send Later: Schedules the message to be sent at the date and time you specify. The message will be queued with the text message carrier and delivered automatically at the chosen time.

Preview and Confirmation

Before sending, click Preview and Confirm to review your message. This step allows you to:

• See how many credits will be used for the message.
• View how any merge codes (placeholders) will be replaced with actual data from the system.
