How do I restore an item from the trash?

Using the Trash and Restoring Deleted Items

Most items that are deleted in ReservationKey are not permanently removed right away. Instead, they are moved into the Trash section under Settings. This makes it easy to restore items that were deleted accidentally, such as rooms, rate plans, and other records.


Step 1: Deleting an Item

  1. Go to the relevant section (for example, Properties → Rooms / Units).
  2. Click on the item you want to delete.
  3. Click the Delete button and confirm when prompted.

The item will be moved to the Trash but will not be permanently deleted.


Step 2: Viewing the Trash

  1. Go to the Settings tab.
  2. Click on Trash.
  3. Select the category of items you want to view — for example, Rooms or Rate Plans.

You can now see all items that were recently deleted and can restore any of them if needed.


Step 3: Restoring a Deleted Item

  1. Within the Trash section, locate the item you wish to restore.
  2. Click the Restore button next to that item.

The item will immediately be returned to its original location — for example, restored rooms will reappear under Properties → Rooms / Units.


Step 4: Permanently Deleting Items

If you want to completely remove items from your account:

  1. Go to Settings → Trash.
  2. Select the items you wish to permanently remove.
  3. Click the Delete Selected button (orange).

Important: There is no undo option for this action. Once deleted from the Trash, the item cannot be recovered.
