Switching Between Currency Formats

You can change the currency symbol and formatting used throughout your ReservationKey account to match your preferred currency. This affects all areas where prices are displayed, including the reservation manager, invoices, and payment screens.

Step 1: Open Preferences

1. Go to the Settings tab.
2. Select Preferences.
3. Scroll to the Formatting section.

Step 2: Update the Currency Symbol

1. Locate the Currency field.
2. Enter your preferred currency symbol or code.
   For example, to use the Euro, type:
   €
3. Note: Using the HTML code (such as €) works more reliably than pasting the actual symbol (€).
4. Click Save Changes.

Step 3: Adjust Formatting (Optional)

If you’d like to modify how currency values are displayed — for example, to change decimal or thousand separators — hover over the small question mark icon next to the formatting options to view sample formats and syntax examples.

Step 4: Verify Your Settings

1. Return to your Reservations page.
2. Open any test reservation.
3. Confirm that your selected symbol (e.g., €) now appears instead of the previous currency (e.g., $).

Tips

• Use HTML codes for the best compatibility:
  • $ — U.S. Dollar ($)
  • € — Euro (€)
  • £ — British Pound (£)
  • ¥ — Japanese Yen (¥)
• Changes apply system-wide after saving your preferences.

Once updated, all prices and payment values in your account will use the new currency symbol and formatting style.
