I sold my business. How do I transfer my account to the new owner?

Transferring an Account to a New Owner

If you’ve sold your property or need to transfer ownership of your ReservationKey account, you can easily update the account information so that the new owner can take over without creating a new account.


Step 1: Update the User Information

  1. Go to the Settings tab.
  2. Select Users.
  3. Click into your user profile.
  4. Update the following fields with the new owner’s details:
    • Username
    • Full Name
    • Email Address
  5. Click Save Changes.

Step 2: Update the Payment Method

  1. Go to Settings → Account Settings.
  2. Click Payment Method.
  3. If a credit card is already on file, remove it.
  4. Enter the new owner’s payment information and click Save.

Once the new payment method is saved, future subscription payments will be charged to the new owner’s card or bank account.


Step 3: Confirm Ownership

That’s all there is to it — there are no contracts or paperwork to sign. Once the user information and payment method have been updated, the new owner has full access to the account.
