Duplicating a Rate Plan

If you need to create multiple rate plans with similar settings—such as for new seasons, rate variations, or test purposes—you can easily duplicate an entire rate plan, including all of its rate rules.

Step 1: Open the Rate Plans Section

1. Go to the Properties tab.
2. Click Rate Plans.

This page lists all your existing rate plans.

Step 2: Select the Plan to Duplicate

1. Click into the rate plan you want to duplicate.
2. Scroll down to the Duplicate Rate Plans section.

Step 3: Choose How Many Copies to Create

1. In the duplication options, enter the number of new copies you want to make (for example, 3).
2. Click Save Changes.

The system will create that many new rate plans, each an identical copy of the original.

Step 4: Review and Rename the New Rate Plans

After saving, return to the Rate Plans list. You’ll now see multiple plans with the same name as the original.

To stay organized:

• Rename each plan to reflect its purpose (e.g., “2025 Summer Rates,” “2025 Winter Rates,” etc.).
• Edit the details within each duplicated plan as needed.

Step 5: Edit or Link Units

Once renamed, open each new rate plan to:

• Update or add new Rate Rules.
• Select which Rooms/Units should use the plan.
• Link applicable Taxes or adjust Stay Requirements.

All rate rules from the original plan will have been duplicated automatically, making it easy to modify rather than start from scratch.
