Viewing Gift Certificates

Gift certificates can be easily viewed and customized within your ReservationKey account. You can preview existing certificates, change their appearance, or create new ones for testing and design purposes.

Step 1: Access the Gift Certificate Section

1. Go to the Website tab.
2. Select Gift Certificates.
3. If you already have certificates, click View Certificates Sold.
4. If no certificates exist yet, click Create Certificate to add one.

Tip: If you don’t see the gift certificate options, first click the Save button at the top of the page. This initializes the Gift Certificates section for your account.

Step 2: View a Gift Certificate

1. In the list of certificates sold, find the certificate you wish to preview.
2. Click the certificate code to open the public-facing certificate page.

This preview shows exactly what the recipient will see when they open their gift certificate.

Step 3: Customize the Certificate Appearance

The appearance of both the purchase page and the gift certificate itself can be customized through themes.

Changing the Purchase Page Theme

1. Go to Website → Custom Themes.
2. Select a theme from the list (e.g., Brown, Red, etc.).
3. Click Save Changes.
4. Refresh the certificate purchase page to see the new colors applied.

The purchase page theme controls the color scheme of the page where customers buy gift certificates.

Changing the Certificate Theme

1. From the Gift Certificates section, click Certificate Settings.
2. Under Certificate Theme, select one of the four available options:

• Brown
• Red
• Blue
• Green

3. Click Save Changes.
4. Refresh your certificate page to see the new color scheme applied.

Note that while the purchase page theme can be fully customized in the theme editor, the certificate themes themselves (Brown, Red, Blue, Green) are pre-designed and not editable beyond selection.

Step 4: Testing and Verification

Once your themes are set, you can return to the View Certificates Sold page, open a certificate, and verify that the correct design and colors are displayed. This ensures that your customers will see a professional and consistent design when they view or print their certificates.
