How to Cancel a Reservation

There are two main ways to cancel a reservation — directly from the calendar or from the reservations list. Canceling removes the reservation from blocking the calendar but keeps it accessible as a hidden reservation, unless you delete it entirely.


Option 1 – Cancel from the Calendar

  1. Locate the reservation on your Availability Calendar.
  2. Click the reservation to open its Details Page.
  3. In the Status dropdown, select Cancelled.
  4. Click Save.

Once canceled, the reservation will no longer block the calendar dates. However, it remains accessible as a Hidden Reservation if hidden links are enabled.


Viewing Hidden Reservations

Hidden reservations can be accessed from your calendar by clicking the small +1 (or similar) link that appears on dates where hidden reservations exist.

To make sure hidden links are visible:

  1. Go to Settings ? Preferences ? Internal Availability Calendar.
  2. Find the option labeled Hidden Reservations.
  3. Select Show to enable hidden links on the calendar.

Note: Hidden reservations are enabled by default in all accounts.


Fully Deleting a Reservation

To completely remove a canceled reservation from the system:

  1. Open the reservation’s Details Page.
  2. Click the blue More button.
  3. Select Delete Reservation.

Warning: Deleting a reservation permanently removes all data and cannot be undone.


Option 2 – Cancel from the Reservations Tab

  1. Go to the Reservations tab.
  2. Use the filters at the top to locate the desired reservation(s).
  3. Check the box next to each reservation you wish to cancel.
  4. From the Change Status dropdown, select Cancelled.

This bulk method is useful for quickly canceling multiple reservations at once.
