Offering Multiple Rate Plans on Public Booking Pages
We’re excited to introduce a new feature for your public booking pages — guests can now choose between multiple rate plans for the same room. This gives you more flexibility in how you present options such as “Room Only,” “Bed & Breakfast,” or “Non-Refundable” rates, all within one page.
How It Looks to Guests
When guests search for available rooms, they will now see multiple rate options listed under each room. Each plan displays its own name, description, and price.
- Guests enter their dates and click Search.
- Available rooms appear with their linked rate plans.
- Guests can select their preferred plan by clicking either the Select button or anywhere in the rate plan box.
- If a minimum stay requirement isn’t met, the message appears clearly in the plan description until the required number of nights is selected.
Here are a few examples of how this looks in action:
- Example 1: A property offering a “Best Available Rate” and a “Breakfast Included” plan.
- Example 2: Hotel-style pages where guests first choose how many rooms they want, then select rate plans for each room type.
How to Set Up Multiple Rate Plans
To enable this feature, you’ll need to set up your rate plans and then assign them to rooms (or room types, for hotel-style accounts).
Step 1 – Set Up Rate Plans
- Go to the Properties tab ? Rate Plans.
- Click Add Rate Plan to create a new one.
- Enter a Title and Description for each rate plan.
(These will appear on the public booking page under the rate name.)
- Use the drag-and-drop handles to reorder rate plans if you want to control their display order.
- Click Save when finished.
Step 2 – Link Rate Plans to Rooms or Room Types
Once all your rate plans are ready, you’ll need to assign them to the appropriate rooms or room types.
For Regular Room Setup:
- Go to the Properties tab ? Rooms/Units.
- Click a room name to edit it.
- Expand the section labeled Rate Plans.
- Select the rate plans that apply to that room by checking the boxes.
- Click Save Changes.
For Hotel-Style Setup (Room Types):
- Go to the Properties tab ? Room Types.
- Click a room type to edit it.
- Expand the Rate Plans section.
- Select which rate plans apply to this room type.
- Click Save Changes.
Tip: This saves time if you have multiple rooms of the same type — you only need to select rate plans once at the room type level instead of per individual room.
Guest Booking Experience
- After selecting dates, guests see all available rate plans under each room.
- Each plan displays its own price, conditions, and minimum-night requirements.
- Guests can easily switch between plans before confirming their booking.
This update gives guests more flexibility, encourages upselling (such as breakfast or flexible rates), and helps your property better highlight value-added options.
