Rental Agreement

*Welcome to the Scottwood Inn Bed and Breakfast. We hope you have a wonderful stay. Please let us know what we can do to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable.

* The Scottwood Inn has cameras on the first floor for everyone’s protection; one camera is at the entrance as you enter the house, another camera is in the parlor on the left side corner, another is in the hallway leading to the kitchen, and the last one is in the kitchen on your right. If you have any concerns, please let us know.

*The house alarms will be set promptly at 11pm and disarmed at 6am. Please communicate with the Manager on Duty if you need to leave the premises at an earlier time than stated.

*There is no smoking inside the Inn; there will be a $350 smoking fee charged to your credit card; you must be 15 feet from doorways and porch to smoke. The burning of candles or incense is also not allowed anywhere in the Inn.

* This is a pet free facility. Only certified service animals are allowed on the property and must always remain with their handler. You will be subject to a $400 non-compliance fee and this action will immediately revoke the remaining days of your stay.

*A fire extinguisher is located on each floor: In the kitchen, by the front door, and by the door to the exterior entrance downstairs.

*You may help yourself to coffee, hot tea or cocoa by using the Keurig machine downstairs in the dining area. Snacks are available as well in the dining room.

*Breakfast is served each day at 9AM in the dining room. If you have special dietary needs please let us know as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate. If what brings you to our Inn conflicts with this timeframe, just let us know and we will do everything we can to accommodate your schedule.

*In case of a power outage there is a flashlight in your room.

* THEATRE room and Pool (based upon weather conditions) are available upon request – Everyone must sign a Disclosure before use.

*Check in time is 3pm – 6pm. After 10pm, same day booking you must contact the Inn directly. If you qualify for a discount, one DISCOUNT use per stay.

* Check out time is 11AM. Late check out fee is $50.00. Please leave your key with the manager on duty when you check out.

* Tornado Warning: All guests must proceed to the basement area

Cancellation Policy

NO refunds if the cancellation is received within 48 hours prior to check-in.

If cancellation is received between 7 days and 3 days prior to stay the 50% room rate will be refunded.

If cancellation is received between 7 days and 13 days prior to the stay, the room rate will be refunded less a $50 cancellation fee.

If cancellation is received 14 days or longer prior to the stay, the full room rate will be refunded.
