We loved staying at The Mountain View cabin. It was big with many rooms and had a stunning view of the mountains from the living room. It easily had enough room for two families of four. We loved the town of Canmore and the miles of running trails along the Bow River. Also, very close to Banff National Park with all it had to offer. The highlights were Lake Louise, where we safely saw a Grizzly and her cubs, and Moraine Lake. It was a great time had by all.

We were really impressed with this unit. It was well-stocked, nicely decorated, and the view was AMAZING!!! The staff were super helpful anytime we asked for local advice. We look forward to staying here again.

We had a wonderful stay. The unit was prepared early, it was very clean, most toiletries were provided, and was the perfect size for our group. Only complaint was there was no A/C. However we spent most of our time hiking and exploring downtown so it wasn’t that noticeable. Would definitely come back.

Our stay in Canmore was very nice. The place was clean and perfect for a relaxing getaway in the mountains. We had our bikes with us and it was very easy to get around and only a 5 minutes ride to the Restaurants. We felt very comfortable and would definitely go back there.

This is a lovely apartment with fantastic views of the mountains and very close to the town centre. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils so we were able to buy food from the supermarket 5 mins walk away and cook breakfast and dinner for ourselves.

Property was as described and wonderful; breathtaking views from 2 balconies of 3 mountain groups. Everything worked, and great instructions on appliances, house, checkout etc. Lower level sleeping accom not so comfortable for adults; bunk beds and foldout couch only a twin size at best, and stiff. The location of house was terrific and in a beautiful hillside mountain home community above Canmore. Saw a moose outside on our first night there. Quiet area, preferred being in Canmore over Banff, which had alot of visitors. Canmore has great shops and restaurants, and nice river walk and small town feel. Canada Day weekend very crowded at all attractions in the area. Rocky Mtn Rentals very helpful (thanks for everything Jess! ) The 2 Park passes provided helped alot-- long lines to get into Banff without them.

Great house for five couples to enjoy a 52nd reunion. Abundant areas to gather with excellent kitchen facilities.

The house was very clean, well stocked, and the welcome card and gifts were thoughtful. It did get a little warm since it is over a restaurant. I would definitely stay here again!

"Solara 209 was clean, comfortable, quiet and sufficiently spacious for 2 couples to share the space, yet still enjoy privacy. Thoughtful consideration was given to the basic toiletries and pantry items provided. This is a modern, well designed, beautifully decorated and maintained unit. It is exactly as you see it in the pictures. I would highly recommend this condo to any foursome looking for quality at a reasonable price. Property management company was easy to work with and checking in / out quick and easy. My favorite of all the accommodations we stayed at while traveling in the Rockies! "

Rockies Rentals was and amazing place to stay. Very comfy and spacious. The proximity to several amenities was awesome. Walkable distance to lots os bars, groceries etc. I would certainly recommend staying there. Our group looks forward to a next time! We stayed in Canmore for a wedding at the Golf Course and reception at the Cornerstone Theatre. This unit worked well for our group of 6, it was centrally located for both wedding and reception and it was in a great location if you want to be a short drive from Banff but not incur the extra expense and crowds. You still have a beautiful mountainous backdrop staying in Canmore and some challenging hikes (Ha Ling Peak!) Lake Louise is an hour's drive which goes by really quickly admiring the views along the way and Kootenay National Park is only about 45 mins. The unit has a small but functional kitchen, and the bedrooms are a good size, comfortable beds (didn't use the pullout couch). My daughter had to write an online exam while we were there and when I expressed concern about wifi, Charla was very accommodating, even offering to set up my daughter in her personal office if she needed to. Turned out to be fine though. Overall was a comfortable place to stay.

This place is great! About 10 minutes into the gates of Banff which was fantastic. The place is clean and nice. Definitely recommend.

We had a pleasant stay at Summit Place. Canmore is a nice and fastly growing town. Easy access to both Calgary as well as Banff. Welcomed treats upon our arrival and assistance with an issue that occurred during our stay. I'm glad it all worked out. Loved having the extras their for our use and hope someone was able to make use of the extras we left! Apartment was clean and spacious for a family of 3. Loved being able to make use of the washer/dryer! The fans were also a Godsend as we experienced some really warm weather! Screens on the windows also a bonus to avoid mosquitoes!

Our stay was very relaxing and we found Canmore to be a great base to begin our daily excursions into Banff and the surrounding areas. The Solara Corner Suite provided great amenities. We only had a few issues opening the underground parking garage door, but other than that the stay was wonderful.

We had a great week in Canmore. The views from the lounge/balcony were amazing. I was traveling with elderly mother and disabled brother, so the stairs were an issue, but that is not the properties fault, just mentioning for others with mobility issues. The bedroom behind the bookcase should be listed as a feature, we thought it was groovy?? Thanks again for the hassle free stay.

We absolutely loved staying at Summit Place 2B. The location was perfect for our Banff vacation. We felt at home in the roomy and cozy condo. We appreciated having access to a well-stocked kitchen with top-notch appliances. The views were spectacular and the [quiet] Canmore train provided beautiful scenery as well. After some long days of hiking and exploring the national parks, we frequented all restaurants underneath the unit and highly recommend all. All communications with the property manager were quick, thorough, and helpful. I would suggest a friend or relative stay here in an absolute heartbeat!

Great place in fantastic location! Caught a little off guard by the lack of AC during a hot weekend, but by keeping the windows open was able to keep the place comfortable! Can’t beat the location.

The property was very clean, spacious and ready for us to go. The check in process was simple to do at the front desk. There was amble underground parking and the property is conveniently located in Canmore with stunning views of the mountains. The unit was beyond our expectations. We had not used Rocky Rentals before and had our reservations - but those quickly went away. The whole process was easy and they gave us e-mail updates throughout prior to our arrival. We would highly recommend staying here!

The condo is exactly as pictured, was immaculately clean, and very well appointed. The park pass was a greatly appreciated touch. The location was perfect for our stay in Canmore - a short walk across the train tracks to downtown shops and restaurants, and trails throughout town. The smell of cinnamon twists and bagels from the bakery below inspired early morning trips downstairs. The trains were frequent and quite loud, so do bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Would highly recommend and stay again!

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay immensely. A nice quiet unit with amazing views. Close to downtown and the Nordic Centre. It was stocked with all the things we needed. We highly recommend staying here. We would definitely stay here again.

"Our first impressions of the unit were that it was large, bright and very spacious in its floorplan. The high ceilings added a sense of airiness and the master bedroom with soaker tub and separate three-piece ensuite was huge. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, utensils, tools and pantry staples to allow for easy cooking (note: the kettle was not in working order at the time of our stay). It was a great location to access the amenities of Canmore and a short drive to nearby ski resorts (Sunshine & Norquay), making it a great ""base camp"" for mountain activities. We enjoyed and made use of the board games available in the unit for our ""off-mountain"" time. Our one update would be to modify the parking directions, as the signs for outside parking have been updated. Note the parking garage was not tall enough to accommodate our full-size pickup truck. We would definitely stay in this property again."

"Ten of my closest friends and family spent the week in Canmore/Banff/Lake Louise celebrating my big 4-0. What a perfect way to celebrate the next chapter of life. The views alone are breathtaking. Add in a beautifully maintained mountain home and the week couldn't have been better! We were all lucky enough to have our parents look after the little ones so we were sans kids for the week. The layout was perfect giving each guest their own bathroom and a bit of privacy. The bathrooms were well stocked down to even the shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and Kleenex. In addition, the kitchen was also stocked with not only the usual dishes, pots, utensils, etc. but also with spices, condiments, coffee, saran wrap, etc. Upon arrival we were greeted by Diane and given a thorough tour of the house and its amenities. The house was very clean. The rock wall was a very interesting feature. We certainly had a few bets going throughout the week, it definitely was a lot harder than it looks and a bit more daunting once you are at the top. But to be quite honest we did not spend that much time in the recreation area of the house. The views from upstairs were just too hard to leave and thus we spent most of our time on the main level between the kitchen, living room and outside deck/patio. On the first morning we were welcomed by five (5) male elks grazing just outside our kitchen windows. What a site! I still can't get over how big their antlers were ... I can't imagine what a moose would look like up close and personal. All said and done this house was perfect for our birthday getaway. We would definitely return and more importantly we would definitely recommend this house to others. A few things to note: there is only one TV in the entire house and it is located in the basement. The technology is minimal in terms of streaming and Bluetooth. We actually enjoyed the limited TV options as we did not watch any TV (it would have been hard with the size of our group and the space around the TV) but the sound system and the Bluetooth configuration was a bit tricky. It took is awhile to figure out how to use it as it was not accurately described in the house manual. But these are so minor it's not worth fretting over! Rockies Rentals were awesome to work with. We will definitely call them first to book a condo next time we are in a canmore. Chinook #209 was awesome for a family. Kitchen is well stocked and organized. Beds are comfortable and rooms are large. Solara was a beautiful resort with a large movie theatres, pool and hot tub was perfect for after skiing.

Our family of 4 stayed in this condo and couldn’t have dreamt of a better vacation in the mountains! The place is much nicer then the pictures suggest. The condo is pristine with luxurious furnishings & details and is gorgeously decorated. There are 2 fireplaces, one in the living room and one in the main bedroom, which we loved curling in front of after a day of skiing. As an added luxury the floors are made of cork which are very warm to walk on. The beds in both bedrooms are very comfortable. There is a large private deck nestled in the trees with views of the mountains. We are planning on returning this summer to take advantage of the deck and views. The condo has high-end appliances and the owners have thought of every convenience you would need, including a very well-stocked kitchen with unexpected upgrades such a french press, wine-cooler and a spice-rack. The ipad with instructions and recommendations for our stay in the Rockies along with the Banff Park Pass were thoughtful touches. We also loved the short scenic walk along a creek in the trees to downtown. The on-site hot tub and spa were heavenly after an invigorating day in the mountains. Rockies Rentals were a pleasure to deal with and check-in was a breeze. We did not want to leave and look forward to staying again soon!

Our family enjoyed our stay here in Canmore. The location was convenient to shops and places to eat. View was amazing and condo very comfortable. Great place to return to at the end of the day. The trains went by were a HUGE hit with the children. The enjoyed counting how many cars each train had.

My guests and family had such a great time. The location is perfect and view is mesmerizing. The place is well-equipped for family vacation. It is very neat and clean. Staff are easy to contact when needed. Overall we spent a great time staying here. Thank you!
