Great vacation house in Canmore
We had a wonderful ski vacation. The house was roomy, clean, well equipped and located in a beautiful neighborhood. It was an easy ride to the ski hills and Banff and Canmore provided a convenient location for groceries and restaurants when we wanted to stay close to home. We'll definitely be back.

A Very Nice Home with a Couple Minor Flaws
This is a new, very roomy, contemporary home that was fun to live in. The view from the living room windows and the decks is outstanding. The large, high-ceilinged living room itself was impressive. The property managers were VERY cordial and friendly There was plenty of space for everyone although I thought the layout was a bit inefficient. I also felt the colors used in decorating (grey walls and grey stone) and hard surfaces (causing even quiet conversations to echo) prevented a feeling of warmth that would have been really nice to have. There was only one TV in the house--which was OK for us, and maybe one too many for some--but seems unusual for a house of this size and rent range. We selected this unit because it was the only four-bedroom we could find making late reservations and found it to be satisfactory but would probably see what other options were available should we return.

Perfect location and wonderful extras!
Everything was wonderful! This condo is in a great location. The little extras you had available were also welcome - the park pass made our daily excursions a lot easier, the Deuter bag allowed me to carry something a lot smaller than my normal day pack, and coming home every night made the entire stay worthy of a return visit. We explored as much as possible during our week there, took in recommendations from previous guests, and contributed to the pamphlet pile. The location makes it easy to explore Canmore, Banff, Yoho, Kanaskis, and many other parks in the area! You're also not that far away from Icefields Parkway. Thank you! If we ever stay in Canmore, again, your place will be one of the first we consider.

Winter Magic
My family had an amazing Christmas all together staying at Quarry Retreat. The house was so lovely and cosy even when the temperature was -25. The beds were so comfortable and living area spacious. The house was equiped to the highest standard and the hot tub was enjoyed by all especially after a days skiing. We definately would love to come back, maybe in the summer next time. Thank you so much to the owners for making it such a memorable time and to the agents for making the booking arrangements so easy.

Great Place
The condo was perfect for what my party and I needed it for. It was quiet, comfortable and clean. Will always book again for future ski trips. Only 2 negatives (very, very, very minor): - The resort does not allow smoking on the balcony. Can only smoke outside condo property. - Cannot bring ski/snowboard equipment into condo. I'm afraid of theft. Besides those two little cons, don't look further and reserve this condo now!

Our stay was awesome!!
We enjoyed our stay in Canmore for the highland games. The accommodations were excellent! There were a couple poor comments on-line that we had read. I don't really know what they were talking about. My only negative comment/suggestion would be that the cleaning expectations should be listed on an info sheet in the room. We were not told what was expected of us, and only asked because we saw other patrons taking the garbage out etc. We will definitely used these accommodations again and recommend to others

Silvertip is Super
Chose property for size, location, and availability. Property was all it was said to be and more. I did wonder if I should have sent a signed copy of the agreement. We stayed in master bedroom and would have appreciated a door that opened quietly. The children's larger bike is not in good repair. Still great that it was there! Thanks, Libby

Great Time in Canmore
We very much enjoyed our stay in Canmore. The condo is a short 10 minute drive to Banff and the national park. It is right off of Route 1 with great interstate access. The park pass for the stay is a nice perk. * The condo is close to a Safeway and we grilled out a couple of times on the gas grill. It is also very close to the town center of Canmore where there is plenty of shopping and restaurants. * It was nice having a garage to park in. The only issue was the remote would not close the garage, only opened it. Had to jump out and press the button to close the automatic garage door.

Over the Top !
We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home while we visited Canmore and would not hesitate to go back. Everything about this spacious home, from the awesome kitchen, the mountain view, outdoor fireplace and the indoor rock climbing wall exceeded our expectations!! Our extended family had no negative comments about our stay and we enjoyed our time in the home with constant smiles on our faces. Thanks again for making your home available to our family.

Us Thanksgiving Get-away
We spent 8 days at this home while skiing at the Canmore Nordic Center and touring Canmore and Banff. We were fortunate that snow arrived just a few days before we did (on November 19). We encountered bitter cold, with high temps around zero (F) the first several days. But by the end of our stay the temps were close to 20 F and much more comfortable for skiing. The house is as beautiful as it looks. It is fully equipped. We cooked our american Thanksgiving dinner and had everything we needed. We were 8 in number - four adults and four kids ages 9-15 - which was ideal, though we could have slept two more comfortably. The house is spacious and modern. It's perhaps a bit too spacious and spartan for my taste. Also affecting this feeling was the fact that the heat wasn't turned on properly before our arrival. The in-house temps were about 55 F when we got there and it took almost 36 hours before it stabilized at 69. We called about the heat, but it wasn't clear to us that changing the temperature remotely had an effect, though clearly, either our fidgeting with the system or the remote people fidgeting with it got it to work better. The infloor heat in the basement was most comfortable. The basement had a TV set up with satellite/cable and we spent a fair amount of time there. We brought our own slippers -- a must. Some additional blankets/throws for the couch areas would be an improvement. And perhaps an additional TV. We're not big on TV, but for this trip it would have been nice to have one. Our kids loved the climbing wall, and though they didn't climb on it every possible moment, it's clear that the existence of the wall was something that was remarkable to them. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. Top score also goes to the kitchen, which was modern, clean and well equipped. The house as a whole was very clean. Infloor heating in the bathrooms was nice.

A Fabulous Family Vacation
This was our first time to the Canadian Rockies and it was fabulous! The rental home at Silver Tip Heights is beautiful, convenient to everything you would want to do yet private and not in an area that has significant tourists. There was ample room for our extended family and we would highly recommend it!

Sunil's feedback
The house was very well located and so was the service. One great thing was we were given 2 passes into Banff NP, thus saving us a bit of money and daily hassale. All things considered, the home and service was great...the price, hmm, a little pricey.

Great vacation home for family and friends!
We stayed in this beautiful house for a week while in Canmore celebrating our daughter's wedding. The sitting room and dining area are spacious and beautifully furnished. On the balcony there is a barbeque big enough to cater for a large group - but a few more seats would have been nice. The mountain views from the house are amazing. Although the house is close to others, we hardly saw anyone and certainly did not feel overlooked even on the balcony. The large kitchen is well equipped and a joy to work in. There is also a small office area with a computer as well as wi-fi thoughout the house. The media room downstairs is a great place for relaxing in front of the tv or playing games. We did not use the rock room or climb the wall and feel the space could have been better used in adding a third bedroom on the top floor... The four bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms accommodate eight people and there are additional sleeping facilities for a further two-four people but without the privacy. The house was immaculately clean on our arrival and there were plenty of cleaning materials for small scale cleaning during our stay. All laundry products are provided as well as some basic producs in the kitchen. We discovered one pub/restaurant in a walking distance -if you can face the up hill on the way back - The Iron Goat is about 15min walk starting from the end of the road, through the wooded area, some residential streets and across a playing field. Average taxi fare from downtown was 10-12cad. We recommend you check the small print as inviting non-residents to visit the house is not allowed under the terms of agreement. We partially overcame this problem by having other wedding guests stay in another Rockies Rentals accommodation. We warmly recommend this property and would definately return if it wasn't for the distance from the UK and all the other Provinces of Canada to be discovered... :)

A wonderful, relaxed family retreat for all ages
The whole experience renting this house was exceptional - the prompt and courteous service at Rockies Rentals, the beautiful house exactly as presented on the website, and all the little amenities included in the house. The only surprises were all good ones. The house was spotless, absolutely well equipped in the kitchen and the playroom, including foozball, table-top hockey, table-top tennis, board-games. The heated bathroom floors were a big hit. A perfectly stressless family reunion, with plenty of room for us all to spread out and relax. Extremely quiet location. We had 3 huge buck elk grazing next to the house on our first night. When we sadly had to leave, as we were getting into the car, my grand-nephew waved to the house and said 'bye bye mansion'.

Lots of room for the whole family to hang out in the living room
Had a really great lunch at the Chateau Lake Louise the prices were good and the food excellent but the view was the best. Murietta's in Canmore was another great lunch with mountain views and good food. Banff Springs Mother's Day Brunch was awesome!!! What a great way to take your family to see the Rockies

Excellent
House is more than excellent, it should have ten star ratings. It has all the amenities and the house is well equipped with all the kitchen necessities. The view from living room and upstairs bedroom is like no other. Park passes they had saved us time and money. The owner has equipped the house with everything that is required in daily life. We have been visiting different countries for the last ten years and renting either apartments or houses, this house was the best.

The kids loved the room at the front to read, play cards, get away from adults. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped. I even made muffins. The Canmore Quad Tour was amazing (thanks Chuck!) White water rafting was fun. Loved the street fair on Saturday. Thoroughly enjoyed dinner at Rustica. Elk paid us a visit to our kitchen window on Friday. Did a run with Run Fit group on Sunday ... lots of fun.

top-notch condo at a great price
This condo fully lived up to its online photos. Beautiful kitchen, outfitted with everything from oatmeal and coffee supplies to spices and extra virgin olive oil. We were even greeted with a vase of fresh flowers set on the island. Loved that it was such a short stroll to the grocery store and town. On our first night, enjoyed a leisurely dinner out on the patio at the nearby Rose and Crown, and afterwards turned on the condo's gas fireplace to enjoy some wine. Traveled with another couple who thought this condo offered an incredible value. We agree!

Loved Canmore
We stayed here for 3 nights, and absolutely loved being in Canmore. It was nice to be so close to Safeway, and the downtown area. Service and communication with rental people was great. They were so helpful. The place itself was awesome - great space, and awesome that they supply so many extras, like staple food products, games, Dvds, books... The only complaints we have are that the space is not airconditioned, and because it is an upstairs loft space, it was hot. Also, there is a railway line right beside the place, and the trains come by frequently. They are the ones with over 100 carriages, and would also come by several times during the night. Noisy! For the rest, we had a great stay. Spent time in downtown Banff, as well as Lake Louise.

Fantastic apartment in great location!
The apartment is in a fantastic location near supermarkets and not far from the main highway so very easy to travel around and Baniff is only 15mins away by car. The apartment is very luxurious and is exceptionally well kitted out everything from a desktop to a backpack and free national park pass for visitors to use. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the rockies.

Very pleasant stay, roomy accommodation in a beautiful location.
My husband, daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Canmore. My only criticism of the accommodation would be that as the weather was hot during our stay it was difficult to cool down the rooms. Apart from that everything necessary for a comfortable stay was provided. It was particularly helpful having laundry facilities during our two week holiday as we were able to 'freshen up' our clothes ready for the second week.

Great condo in a convenient location
We really enjoyed our stay at this well-equipped condo. I was a little worried about being so close to the railroad, but the noise was truly unobtrusive, and my parents got a kick out of counting the freight cars, and watching the crew change out for the Rocky Mtn Voyageur. We had great drives using Canmore as a base - Kananaskis Country was a nice surprise, and we saw a lot of wildlife - a wolf, elk, deer, mountain sheep, grizzlies & black bears, and of course a lot of rabbits! I enjoyed the many hiking trails around town, and the extensive flannel collection at the SugarPine quit shop.

All We'd Hoped It Would Be!!!
This unit was everything we wanted for our first stay in the Canadian Rockies. We were on a road trip so the location was perfect for us. We wanted to visit Banff and lake Louise and it was easy to go to both places in a short and very scenic ride. The accommodations themselves were perfect. We'd tried to book a one-bed unit and it wasn't available so we were able to rent the two-bedroom unit for the same price! We loved being able to walk to the grocery store, coffee shop, etc. We also were surprised and pleased to find a computer at our disposal. The unit was equipped with everything we needed to cook dinner, which we both enjoy. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better spot to stay at during our Canadian road trip.

We loved our 5 week stay & comfortable with kids
We stayed in this apartment for 5 weeks with our two young children (4 & 2 yr old) and loved it. We got very comfortable here as it has a pretty homely feel about it as opposed to a typical hotel style apartment. Its a good size for a family of our size. For a long stay like ours it was brilliant to have a well stocked kitchen in terms of appliances, computer, printer, picnic basket, great wireless and a pretty spacious living area. As the owner suggests, the trains whilst close are barely noticeable due to the sound proofing if doors etc closed. The kids loved them, and to be honest so did I. I reckon the trains made and still make the rockies! If you want to be in close to town you pretty much cant avoid the train line anyway. Its also great being a short stroll from the grocery stores and bottle shops and a pretty easy stroll to the main street of town. Cant complain about the great views of the mountains as well. The apartment is above a few shops, but they are pretty quite, and always heaps of parking out the front. The bagel shop and Thai restaurant came in handy as well. The national park pass is a winner as well as it saved us a heap of money given we were in and out of the parks all month long. Only contacted the owner a couple of times in the 5 weeks and she was very responsive and helped me out very quickly. So all in all, its not a 5 star place, but its spacious, clean, well stocked and kind of homely if that makes sense. We would definately come back and will be recommending it to our family and friends back home in australia.

Family Ski Holiday
We are a family of four travelling around BC and alberta on a Ski Holiday. We stayed for 4 nights at the Canmore property. The home was perfectly presented, clean and had everything we needed to make our stay very pleasant. The added bonus of a park-pass was great, and the little extras one receives when staying in an owner's property such as their DVD library were also much appreciated. Just downstairs was a Bagel shop with really good coffee; had we discovered this sooner than we did we would have been regular customers. In terms of location, the view of the Rockies from the lounge window was superb, and it really felt like a mountain lodge...without the hussle of Banff accommodation. Good value all round and we would recommend this property to anyone looking for medium term accommodation around Banff.
