A clean cabin with everything we needed. And you can't beat the view! There was enough space for everyone - and the two big dining tables made meal time easy.

This place is fantastic for large families! We had 6 bedrooms and 5 baths. Our four kids, their significant others and two grand babies all fit in the "man cave" basement and enjoyed the kitchen, fireplace, pool table, tvs and hot tub down there! We were on the first floor with an amazing master bath, fireplace and gorgeous living room. We still had a bedroom and bath to spare. Thank you for a great family vacation!

This Cabin was by far the best I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying while taking a much needed break!! Plenty of space for more than one family to enjoy together!! I had asked for a Christmas tree and they made sure my needs were met with the most beautiful Christmas decorations and a lovely tree!! Definitely recommend this lovely Cabin. Planning on many more stays ??

We’ve stayed in this cabin several times, and as usual, it was a wonderful experience! The cabin is so clean and well equipped, all we needed to bring was food. My youngest granddaughter was so excited to find there was already a.decorated Christmas tree in the great room. You feel you’re at home with plenty of room to spread out! The two long tables can accommodate one for eating, and the other for a puzzle, card games, etc. The Tisch family are very nice and accommodating. They are easily contacted if there are any questions.

Our group of 10 friends enjoyed our stay at Golden View very much. The cabin was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The view off the back deck was indeed golden. The owners were attentive and kind. I’ve visited the Smokies at least 20 times with family and friends and this is the nicest cabin I’ve stayed in.

We have stayed at this cabin 8 or 9 times. We always enjoy the cabin and the wonderful view. This year we were greeted by a mother bear and two cubs. They were a real treat.

Beautiful house with privacy and phenomenal views. Our group of 10 adults had plenty of room. The house was very clean and well equipped. The huge deck had ample, comfortable seating to enjoy the view and peaceful setting. We were even treated to a visit from a beautiful, calm mama bear and her two cubs, as well as another single bear. One of the many highlights of our stay. The owner was very responsive to questions. Highly recommend Golden View Lodge.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin with the best view in Wears Valley. We had a group of 15 and there was plenty of room for everyone. Parking for several vehicles without blocking anyone in. Would definitely stay here again, we even discussed going ahead booking again for next year as this an annual trip.

Great home for vacation stay clean and big

My family and my two siblings and their families thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! There was plenty of room to have fun together and yet be apart if that’s what we wanted. The view was amazing and we got a visit from a mama black bear and her two cubs twice! Thanks for making our family getaway a fantastic memory!

Great Great views of the rolling hills and the valley. Plenty of room for everyone. Home was clean and inviting. Love the number of bathrooms and the linens and towels were plentiful. Will definitely be looking at your homes first for future travels.

This cabin was everything I could have hoped for! The view is breathtaking! When I arrived I actually cried! The cabin and the view took my breath away! My whole family was together. We made family memories. The owners were very nice and answered all texts! I would recommend this beautiful cabin!!

We ventured to the Smoky Mountains for our annual family vacation and the Golden View Lodge was perfect! Close to Gaitlinburg and Pigeon Forge but secluded and quiet. The views are breathtaking and the wildlife did not disappoint. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for the memories.

We loved our stay, the rooms were comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. There were 10 of us celebrating my sisters 50th wedding anniversary and I can’t think of another place to be than there! The hosts were so nice I highly recommend staying here!

Cabin was extremely clean and provided all amenities needed for our large group. Kitchen fully equipped for all your cooking needs. Amazing view of the mountains and valley. Totally exceeded our expectation. We are already planning a return visit in the Fall!!!

We loved our stay at the Golden View Lodge. The house was clean, it had everything we needed, and the view was amazing! We got great use out of the pool table and the hot tub after hiking all day. There are also plenty of dishes and glasses in the kitchen so you don't have to bring your own. We can't wait to come back!

We had a group of 11 people and had a wonderful time. This is the 4th time to stay in this cabin and it is always wonderful. A well stocked kitchen and plenty of room to play games and watch television. The hot tub is wondeful and the location is perfect. Highly recommend.

We had the best time! The accommodations were topnotch! Even when it snowed and couldn't get the van up the hill, they came and brought salt to melt the ice!!! Beautiful cabin with ALL the amenities! Couldn't have asked for more!

As always, our winter vacation at Golden View Lodge was awesome!!! We enjoyed a week of fun and beauty with family and friends.

The cabin was amazing. There were no problems at all. It was very clean and they aloud us to check in early. The view was so Beautiful. I would give this cabin a 5 Star.

We only had three days to stay but WOW, 'fabulous' is one word to describe the house and we had such gracious hosts, even helped us find the location in the dark. The facilities were nothing but magnificent with everything needed to enjoy a very comfortable stay - even when it was cold outside. The views were spectacular from way above any surrounding houses. The decorations all around matched the mountain beauty - even some with a spiritual message. We would like to plan another visit when the leaves are still on the trees and the temps are a bit warmer. We left with marvelous memories and footprints of a bear on the side of the car - a visitor one night after rain that gave him a muddy paw.

This is our second year staying at the Golden View Lodge. Great Cabin with all of the amenities needed to get started with a great vacation. The view of the Smokey Mountains is second to none!!

I stayed with five friends for a long weekend of enjoying the beautiful roads and scenery the area has to offer. The house had plenty of space for everyone both inside and out, offered every comfort and amenity you could ask for, and provided an awesome view across Wears Valley.

1. View of the mountains to die for. 2. Lots of sleeping space. 3. Lots of bathrooms. 4. Lots of dining table room for large groups. 5. Plenty of plates, silverware, etc. for large groups. 6. Plenty of parking. 7. The extra refrigerator downstairs is a plus. We have rented this cabin several times. It’s our go to. The owners, Donn and Margaret are wonderful to deal with. Anytime we have had any problem, they send someone straight away. They have done several upgrades since we have been coming……floors, new refrigerator, remodeled bathrooms, new porch furniture with a fabulous view. . I can’t say enough how much we enjoy this place. We will always go back to this cabin. I give it a 10+.

3rd stay in the Golden View Lodge. Every stay has been wonderful. Cabin has a well stocked kitchen and is a great cabin. Close to the national park and hikes. Recommend it highly.

Our family of 12 adults and 3 children celebrating our family Christmas had more than enough room in this beautiful centrally located cabin with ample parking (pictures do not do this cabin justice). The view is amazing from the living room and upper deck. The cabin is well furnished with plenty of clean towels and linens. There is a Keurig and regular coffee pot with plenty of utensils and dishes. I suggest bringing large heavy duty trash bags to take your trash to the dumpster located just outside the gate. We all had a great time and look forward to coming back again real soon

The cabin blew us away! We've stayed in the area about half a dozen times. This was the best experience, by far. The view from the cabin is the best we've had. The cabin itself was clean and well appointed. The Townsend area is the best staging area to explore the mountains. The hosts graciously answered any questions we had. We would (and have) recommended it to everyone.

Bedrooms are roomy. Both living rooms are great! Place was clean and in great shape. Awesome location. Great view and close too a lot. Good parking. Overall- close to perfection! Definitely a home to book again, and again.

Beautiful view!!! Loved the seclusion and privacy, the fire pit, wraparound deck and all that parking space! The hot tub was clean and very nice. Our stay at the Golden View was great! The family enjoyed pool tournaments watching movies on the large screen TVs and we really enjoyed the watching the shows from the deck that God provided every day!

My family and I had an awesome stay in this cabin. Cabin was easily accessible for my 92 year old father who uses a walker. We have gone to the Smokies for over 30 years each summer and finding a cabin that is accessible for him(and large enough for whole family) is difficult, but the main floor in this cabin was great for him. Even the showers were accessible. Kitchen had lots of counter space for serving food and had lots of dining room seating which is hard to find in cabins. The view of Wears Valley was spectacular and the porch seating was great. Will definitely book this cabin again if my father's health allows us to return again next year!
