We love this place! Lots of upgrades since last time we were here. Can't beat the view and the drive up is not bad. Plenty of beds for 10 ladies. We have decided to make this place be the one we always come to. We had been making the trip every spring and fall, but didn't get to come last year because of Covid. So glad to be able to come to the mountains again. You can't go wrong with this one. We loved sitting around the fire at night.

The Grand View was perfect! Kurt and Jennifer were great to work with and it was very clean. The cabin was cozy and had an awesome view. It was also a great location for visiting a variety of places. If you are looking for a place to soak in a hot tub and look at the stars or have coffee in a comfy rocking chair enjoying the mountain view, this is the place for you!

The cabiin was beautiful and spacious.

We have never felt more comfortable in a cabin as we have in Golden Oaks. It is beyond perfection. We didn’t want to leave. The screen room is perfect. The kitchen is perfect. The beds are so comfortable. We have been coming to this area for 30 years and just now realize that this will be our go to cabin in the coming years. Margaret&Don are the best!!!!!

My brother and I decided to rent here to celebrate our parents 50th anniversary and it did not disappoint! The fully stocked kitchen and the beautiful views made our stay so nice! Our parents were so happy to enjoy family time without any worries! The only problem was our stay was too short!

Cabin is well appointed with a great view. Owners are very responsive and have been very accommodating. Having stayed at dozens of cabins in the Smokys over the years, I definitely would stay here again.

I will recommend this cabin to friends and family! Very comfortable and in a quiet area (a must to relax and take in the views). Close to hustle and bustle for those who want to venture out to nearby busy towns. Near hiking, fishing, scenic driving. Kitchen worked out well. Just be ready for a steep climb to get there (we had a front wheel drive minivan and it was no problem— just not used to it, as we are from a state lacking any hills LOL).

Great property, response owners. Had 1 week family vacation at the Wears Valley house. Best kitchen supplies we have seen to 35 years of vacations. Property was clean and as advertised. would highly recommend, plan on renting from same owners next year.

House was perfect! Very large and great for kids. The area was great, close to the National Parks but not to far from the major attractions. House was set up with everything you need for the stay. I would highly suggest the Bear Falls Cabin!

Just wanted to tell you how much we (all 10 of us) loved the cabin. The peace, quiet and serenity was excellent. It was exactly what we had searched for. We will return. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.

The Bear Falls cabin was a perfect place for our family vacation and a great location to experience the grandeur of the Smoky Mountains. The pool table and hot tub were an extra plus after a day of hiking! Tucked in a quiet location with beautiful terrain and forest all around, it was a magical experience for the entire family.

Six of us stayed here, along with our dog during spring break. We had a great time, inside or out. Simply Golden was well stocked for our needs. The added bonus was the fenced in backyard so our pup could run around while we enjoyed the beautiful scenery and weather.

What wonderful memories were made celebrating my Mom’s 95 th at the Golden View Lodge! We were all born in East Tennessee but everyone but Mom and Dad are in Texas now and it was like coming home again! My grandparents lived in Wears Valley and I spent a lot of time there as a child and the beautiful view overlooking the valley brought back so many wonderful memories?? There were 13 of us and we had so much room for everyone and loved making s’mores and having a fire in the pit every night! A wonderful place to stay!

Great place with amazing views. Great folks to deal with as well. My wife and I really enjoyed it and only left the cabin 2x to buy food. We just enjoyed the place and scenery for a week.

We adored the golden memories cabin! The hot tub in the cold weather was so relaxing and we really enjoyed the fire place and having a good old bonfire outside on a chilly night. The town was so fun too work so much to do just 15-20 minutes away! We will most definitely be back.

We loved staying at Black Bear Lodge! We went with four adults, and two doodles but the cabin was so nice and so spacious that my parents joined our group for night two! we had plenty of space, everything we needed was supplied, and, most importantly, the cabin was squeaky clean. The Black Bear Lodge is dog friendly but it is so clean - even my dogs didn't seem to notice the other dogs staying there! We build a fire on night two and enjoyed the logs provided. We loved how secluded the cabin was - we really were on the relaxed side of the Smokies! we enjoyed the drive in and out of the cabin. We were slightly nervous about the one lane road, particularly beside the cave. However, we never had a moments trouble with it and got to where we enjoyed looking down at the cave from the road! we hope we can return when the weather is better to get a closer look! We loved having coffee on the porch listening to the creek. Staying at Black Bear Lodge was the icing on the cake of our weekend vacation and we would love to return one day! We have rented four cabins in two years and this one was by far the best! Nice and open, king bed was great, fireplace and gas grill worked perfectly. Also GREAT LOCATION!

This cabin was absolutely amazing. Our family of 9 was exceptionally comfortable throughout our trip. The cabin was immaculate when we arrived & when the outdoor trash bin got full midweek, Donn sent someone right over to empty it. We even extended our stay by a day and would've done more had the cabin been available!! We will most definitely rent from Donn & Margaret again. Amazing experience from start to finish!

We throughly enjoyed our 5 day stay at your cabin. Good privacy and great features like the outside hot tub.

The cabin was clean and very presentable on the outside. My only complaint would be the dirty stove. Other than that, this is a perfect little getaway. Our family enjoyed everything and are talking about when we can come again. I would definitely recommend this cabin to others and have already.

Even though we were all holding our breath, waiting for power to be restored, we had a wonderful time at Golden View Lodge! The cabin was exceptionally roomy and well equipped. We had everything we could possibly need and everyone had room to settle in very comfortably. Beds were great and every part of the cabin was extremely clean and nice. Over all, it was a wonderful trip, and we loved the cabin. I hope we left the cabin in as good shape as we found it. Thanks again, Linda and George Hinson and Family.

We stayed in Family Memories over Thanksgiving week and this was our third stay in the cabin. It truly lives up to its name and has become our home away from home. The cabin inside is very comfortable and cozy and there are not enough words to describe the spectacular view from the front porch. My favorite spot to drink coffee in the morning is on the front porch just looking at the beautiful views. The cabin is close to all the main attractions in the area however, far enough away to have peace and quiet when needed. Some days we just stayed in the cabin and enjoyed all it had to offer. The owners Mr. Donn and Mrs. Margaret Tisch are very welcoming and friendly, any questions were answered in speedy timeframe. I can’t wait to come back to Family Memories.

My family & I stayed in this cabin for Christmas this year! We loved it. It was so pretty & clean. The view alone is the best! Awesome people to work with. If we had questions they were there to answer. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you Donn & Margaret for wonderful memories with our family.

Over the last several years, Bear Falls cabin in Black Bear Hollow has served our family well for our annual Thanksgiving & Christmas reunion that we call "Thanksmas". It is very spacious, well maintained, and has all the amenities needed for a great family experience. If anything is needed, the owners are only a phone call away. It truly is our Home Away from Home.

This was our first time staying in a cabin. We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay! The cabin is exactly the way it looks in the pictures, and it's just perfect for two. We enjoyed the heart shaped Jacuzzi tub, cooking on the grill, and the warm fireplace. However, the best memory of all is watching the sunrise while relaxing in the Hot Tub?? Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer!!

My friends and family were blown away by the view and the Amazing amount of room we had! The owners left a book with everything we may need and things close by, this cabin is in the best location either direction your so close to it all! I will definitely be back Amazing hospitality!

Our stay in the Simply Golden Cabin was perfect. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The master bedroom bed was comfortable and the views were spectacular. We enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of sight seeing. The backyard was perfect for little mini doodle. We will definitely stay there again.

The owners made everything seamless and easy. And the Cabin was gorgeous and had the most amazing view. They supplied everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property manager was extremely easy to contact and extremely helpful. Our family of 12 enjoyed sitting by the fireplace and relaxing in the immaculate hot tub. The cabin had an amazing view of the mountains and lake from both family rooms. Just an overall perfect vacation where pictures will never do justice to what we saw in person.

Our family had a wonderful time at this cabin. our two daughters and their families were very happy with the layout. There were only one thing, we had small children running around and there was an opening to downstairs that had no door, we used the baby gate but were not comfortable that it would keep the babies from pushing it down. having said that we are really considering it again for next year because we would be a little more prepared for those two things. what we loved most was that it was roomy for our large group and the view was amazing. the drive is close to pigeon forge without it being hard to get to. We really loved this cabin.

We had a fabulous long weekend in the mountains! The owners are very responsive and the home is clearly well taken care of. We would definitely recommend and stay again!

We had such a peaceful stay at this beautiful home. The appliances are modern. The hot tub looks new, but most of all the pups loved the fenced in yard. We would recommend this home to all who need to recharge.??
