We recently enjoyed another relaxing, long weekend at Black Bear Hollow. As always we found the cabin clean and well-maintained. Recent paving of the lane up the hollow made access even easier. This is a great location, quiet and peaceful yet an easy drive to shops and the park. Already checking the calendar for another visit.

My husband and I rented the Black Bear Creek cabin for our anniversary. We fell in love with the cabin and the little town of Townsend. The cabin was just as it appeared in the pictures on the website. The cabin was very clean and decorated so delitefully. I loved all of the bear decor and rustic looking furniture. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the remoteness of the cabins. We will definately be returning as soon as we can. Thanks so much for an enjoyable stay!

My first trip to Tennessee and it was amazing. The cabin was absolutely beautiful, I really had a wonderful time. I will definitely be returning next year.

My wife and I usually do a getaway in May for our anniversary-31 yrs now. This year we just wanted something quiet in the mountains. We love Gatlinburg and like to stay outside town, so this was perfect. First of all the cabin was very clean. That is always at the top of my list. The king bed was very comfortable, the rocking chairs on the porch were nice for reading and the TV was great. The kitchen was suitable and we brought all our groceries. Check in was no hassle. All you need is your entry code and you are there. No complaints. Hope to come back.

My husband and I enjoyed our recent stay at the Bear Cave cabin. Upon our arrival we found the cabin clean and cozy. Loved the cabin décor, bears everywhere. The furniture and the bed was comfortable. The shower was roomy and water pressure great. The covered porch was a nice place to sit and relax. It was nice to come "home" to the cabin after a day in the park instead of a hotel room. Cooked on the grill often (bought some ribeye steaks at the grocery and was our best dinner of the trip.) Loved that it was so close to Cades Cove and the shortcut to Gatlinburg was easy enough. I would highly recommend Black Bear Hollow Cabin rentals and will book with you again next time we visit GSMNP in the future. It was a fantastic vacation!

We spent the weekend at Black Bear Ridge Cabin. We really enjoyed it! Cabin was very nice and very clean. It was far enough out for peace and privacy yet close enough to be convenient to anywhere you would like to go in area. It is very convenient to Cades Cove, which we love! We will be back! We only stayed a weekend for our anniversary, but we so enjoyed the quiet time. The cabin was clean, loved the covered porch & swing. We will be visiting again.

Arrived late, and found the cabin spotless! It was everything we had hoped for. The decor was beautiful and fit with the mountains! After enjoying the hot tub, the hiking, and the area we will be back. We left feeling completely renewed and at peace. the owners are very nice, and assisted in our plans as though we were old friends.

We have stayed at several of the cabins in Black Bear Hollow over the past ten years. Most recently we stayed at Bear Creek. Cabin was well equipped. We came in late and luv the ability to go straight to the cabin. Easy to find and centrally located. We have never had any issues. Getting ready to plan our Oct visit. Give them a try!!! Once we went through the gated entry we were very surprised that the road was paved all the way to the cabin. Not a big thing but I have had rougher drives. The cabin was great and a lot of it had been remodeled. The cabin was large and spacious. The appliances were new and up to date. The location was great, as I am a photographer and traveling to Cades Cove and was not at all a bad drive. This area is great for staying on the Peaceful side of the Smokies.

Mark and debbie were great to us...called a few times before we rented the cabin with questions and they were always there ready to answer...first off the cabin was amazing,very clean and done up nicely,we stayed pretty busy but enjoyed the hot tub and the views every night....a very comfy and cozy cabin with everything you need for your stay.....we will be back again for sure....the kids will come next time so will be renting a bigger cabin for sure....thanks again mark and debbie for our wonderful stay

Our stay at Black bear hollow cabins was wonderful as always We have stay there a few times in different cabins ,They are always very clean ,well maintained,have everything you need ..Love how is a private gated community makes you feel safe ..But best of all it has the best website so easy to navigate and book on line is a snap.

My family and I recently stayed at Bear Mountain and had a very relaxing time at the cabin and Townsend area. We really appreciated the secluded setting of Bear Mountain and the friendly staff that made out trip worry free. We look forward to returning in the future.

We and our friends had a wonderful time at the cabins. The cabin was attractive, clean, easy to get to and very comfortable. The location was great, very close to the Pigeon Forge Gatlinburg area with all the tourist places to go. But was still close enough to the Smoky Mountains. You can be as busy as you want with shows, shopping, eating, rides and Dolly World or you can put your feet up and totally relax. Plus we found the people in the area to be friendly and hospitable. It is a great place to bring the grandkids. We are already making plans to return next summer with the WHOLE family. And did I mention so many places to eat and eat and eat. This was the best vacation my husband and I have had in many years

We have been staying at Black Bear Hollow for 15 years. We have made many memories here. We have stayed at every cabin in the hollow at some point. Bear Creek is our favorite but all of the cabins are awesome. The cabins are immaculate. The hollow offers the peaceful setting that we need. My kids are almost grown now and have been coming here since they can remember. They still ask to come to Mr. Mark's cabins. It is a great family retreat!! See yall Soon!!!

We have stayed at Black Bear Hollow twice now and have had a great experience both times. The last time we had a miscommunication and ended up in the wrong cabin and Mark was extremely quick and responsive to remedy the situation. We will definitely be back. Not only because of the cabins but because they are great people to work with which is hard to find.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Bear Cave. A home away from home. The cabin met all our needs and was clean and comfy. The beauty of God's creation in this setting surrounded by the mountains is awesome. There is plenty to see and do or just relax with a cup of coffee on the front porch and enjoy the peace and quite away from the busyness and chaos of everday life. The one way drive through Cades Cove in Smoky Mountain National Park is worth the time. There are plenty of pull-over spots and parking areas to admire the Great Smoky Mountains. Also take the hike to Abrams Falls in Cades Cove. It's a lengthy hike but not challenging. The path and terrain is up and down with roots and rocks. Very scenic along the river with wildlife sightings. Swimming with caution is allowed at the Falls. Also a drive through Foothills Parkway with less congestion for more breathtaking views is a bonus. We would stay here again on a return visit to Tennessee.

My husband and I stayed here during the first week of June. The place was just perfect. We brought our own groceries for the week in order to cook there at the cabin. We have rented from Black Bear Hollow at least 5 times, and we are never disappointed. We will continue to return here as long as possible. We have stayed in 4 different cabins and all of them were very comfortable and accommodating.

One more time, we have stayed at Black Bear Hollow & made wonderful, new memories to cherish! The cabin is great, & in looking back over the years & stays with you, we think the cabin on the hill behind Bear Cave is the only one (including the 2 in Fawn Hollow) that we have not stayed in. Couldn't ask for a nicer location or cabin. It was perfect! Clean, comfortable bed, air hockey, pool table, bags, jaccuzzi, gas grill, wifi, whirlpool. Mark and Debbie were great hosts and easy to talk to and work with.

We had a great stay at Bear Mountain. The cabin was beautiful and we enjoyed the pool table. The rocking chairs on the porch were perfect after a day of hiking or running around town. They were also super for morning devotional/Bible reading. We had our two sons and our younger son's wife with us. Everyone had privacy and yet we were all together. It was a great family time!

I typically don't write reviews, so I'll keep this short and sweet. First and foremost, this cabin was well worth the money and time spent within. Compared to competitors, you're getting a great deal. The space was roomy, well taken care of, and in a very quiet, serene location. I actually got to see a nice group of turkey cross by every morning... It's a great cabin and beautiful area.

I have stayed at Black Bear Hollow Cabins twice this year. The owners are very nice and easy to work with. The cabins are secluded and offer everything you might need while on vacation plus extras you might not even think about. My family enjoys spending time in the Great Smoky Mtns, but Black Bear Hollow is so nice that both times we have stayed there we have not wanted to leave our cabin. I highly recommend staying at Black Bear Hollow.

My husband and I absolutely enjoyed every minute spent at Bear Cave cabin.........from the furnishings to the hot tub. We spent many hours rocking on the porch enjoying the scenery around us. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer! We will definitely be returning to this little piece of heaven.

We all enjoyed our stay at the Bear Ridge very much. The cabin is a one level which I was looking for and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the front and back porches just talking and we ate out on the back porch a couple of times,it was perfect. We love going to Cades Cove and we got up every morning early to go and it didn't take us long at all the cabin is in a great location. We saw bears, deer and turkeys in Cades Cove and when we got back we had several walking in the yard by the cabin. Thank You for a wonderful place to stay!

Black Bear Hollow Cabins is the only cabins my family has stayed at for the last 8!years. Every cabin is well cared for and the owners are amazing. I've stayed in the majority of the choices of cabins and have never been disappointed. This stay was no exception, everything was great!

No, we didn't see any foxes, but since our last name is Fox, we were "Foxes in the Woods" and loved every minute at the Bear Cave. It was the perfect place for the two of us and allowed us a quiet and comfortable place to unwind and enjoy the fall colors in the Smoky Mountains. The location was perfect for visiting Cades Cove and for exploring several of the trails near by. We hope to come back again and enjoy God's creation.

We have stayed at this cabin before.so my wife insisted on the black bear hollow creek cabin.it is a super cabin .very comfortable and everything functions and we can't wait to visit again.

This was our third time to stay at Black Bear Hollow Cabins and it NEVER disappoints! There are other places to stay mountainside that are closer to where we live but we will continue to make the trek to Townsend Tennessee because of the uniqueness of Black Bear Hollow. We love the fact that its gated and the cabins are extremely private, yet minutes from town. Many other places feel overcrowded with cabins stacked one after another, whereas Black Bear Hollow feels like we have the mountain all to ourselves! The views, amenities, and cleanliness are topnotch. From the first time I spoke with Mark over the phone 3 years ago, I felt our comfort and satisfaction were important. Because of this, we chose to try the cabins, and now, well, no need to ever stay anywhere else! See you in 2016 Black Bear Hollow!
