Fortunately, I am not able to provide any feedback on the owners since the cabin was everything we hoped for and did not have a need to contact them. We did have several questions for them before we rented with them and received a quick and complete reply. I am pleased to tell you that your cabin helped to make the “Best vacation I’ve ever been on” experience for several of the people in our party. There was plenty of parking for two trucks and trailers as well as 6 motorcycles. The location is close to attractions but far enough away to be secluded. Great experience to turn off the lights and sit on the deck and listen to nature. The cabin was clean and stocked with plenty of necessities. There are several decks around the house to sit and enjoy but still not be on top of one another. My suggestion: If you get a chance to stay at Bear Falls cabin while on a trip, give yourself time to stay and enjoy the cabin. Will definitely consider staying again.

This was our 2nd annual trip to Gatlinburg for my boyfriends birthday. This cabin was great! We had everything we needed to grill out or cook breakfast.

Our family had a fantastic time: from pool tournaments, relaxing in the hot tub, to s’mores at the fire pit. We are already talking about a return trip.

We have an annual spring tradition of hiking in the National park and we have come back to Heaven's View year after year. The house is always clean and comfortable and has everything we need to relax at home after a day on the trail. It is very convenient to Cades Cove and the northern end of the park, and it is far from the commercial hubbub of Gatlinburg. Best of all-- and the thing that keeps us coming back-- is the fantastic view from the beautifully furnished deck. Once you settle in there, you won't want to go anywhere else.

The cabin was very spacious, tons of seating and room for everyone. I loved it and would definitely come back to stay at this cabin again

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This is the second cabin we rented from the Tisch’s and it was a wonderful trip. The cabin is stocked nicely and the fenced yard was great for our Golden Cooper. Wears Valley is very pretty and the view from the cabin was great. I highly recommend renting a cabin from Donn and Margaret’s inventory as they are really good folks to work with before,during, and after vacation.

We loved staying at the Family Memories Cabin! It was so peaceful !! We loved the deck especially in the mornings where you could hear birds and even the cows mooing from across the street! The fire pit was so nice and our little companion Wrigley loved the yard! We fell in love with Your cabin and the area of Wears Valley. Spent lots of time in Cades Cove, it was so convienant to get there from the cabin too! Saw Bears, deer and some wild turkeys! Would love to have stayed longer, maybe next time! Thank you so very much for letting us stay and the cabin was so clean and all the little extras were so awesome!

Our family had wonderful vacation at Golden View Lodge. We enjoyed the peacefulness and beauty of the area, as well as the amazing views. The location was perfect, as it was close to Pigeon Forge and the National Park, but away from all the crowds. The cabin was clean, inviting, and made us feel at home. Donn and Margaret were always quick to respond to any questions we had.

We absolutely fell in love with your Family Memories Cabin! It was so comfortable, clean and peaceful. We spent mornings with our coffee on the deck and we luckily had warm mornings. It was wonderful hearing the birds singing and the cows mooing across the street! Our little schnauzer loved the yard and he felt very at home too! We loved visiting Cades Cove, sawa Mom and her two cubs, wild turkeys and deer! Having s fire in the evening was wonderful too. We honestly didn’t want to leave! Will for sure want to stay again, maybe next time longer!!! Thank you so very much and when we had trouble with the fireplace your Son was there early the next morning to fix it!

We rented the Heaven's View Cabin in April and it was absolutely perfect! The cabin was clean and ready for our week long stay. The view was more than we expected when we booked our smoky mountain vacation! We absolutely look forward to renting from y'all again! Thank you for being so wonderful to rent from!

5 stars aren’t enough – this cabin and its owners deserve 6 stars! In fact, I made sure that I secured our stay next year before I wrote this review. ?? We have stayed in Tennessee cabins during spring break for the past 13 years. I have to tell you that this cabin has been one of my very favorites! Here are points that you may find helpful: all 3 bedrooms have both dressers and a place to hang your clothes. This is very rare so bring your hangers! (The owners do provide a few in each bedroom.) The bedroom upstairs is gorgeous (as you can see in the photos), but you should know that both bedrooms downstairs are plenty big enough. They even provide a chair in each bedroom (which I appreciate). There is a full-size washer and dryer on the ground floor in a nice size laundry room. I used our extra totes for laundry baskets and it felt like I was home. Note that this cabin does not have a basement. This was only an issue for us because our parents have health problems and I didn’t realize that they would have to take the stairs in order to get to the living quarters. I liked the fact that the deck upstairs has been enclosed. On nice days, we simply opened the windows but it was wonderful being warm while we enjoyed the view on cooler days. I loved the fact that this cabin allows you to enjoy a one mile walk around the “block” once you hike down the driveway. In the past, I didn’t always enjoy my daily walks because of the steep inclines. (For those who have trouble with the driveway, just ask your hubby to pick you up at the bottom of the driveway after your walk. I admit that I did that once or twice.) ?? The driveway isn’t that steep (to drive) because they have developed “hairpin” turns instead of a straight hike up. We had no problems trailing our 5x8 trailer behind my Expedition. There is ample parking at the cabin. We enjoyed the firepit (found firewood at the grocery store in town) and gas grill. The gas grill was super handy because it’s located on a small deck right off the kitchen. Our 8 year old son enjoyed the magnetic dart board, foosball table, and of course, all of the guys enjoyed the pool table. I teach online college classes and had no issues with the WIFI service; it works very well. The owners provided more starter items than most do; we had shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, lotion, garbage bags, and even sanitizer! In fact, there were even Q Tips and make up remover pads in our bathroom! Remember – these are meant to get us started. We stay for a week so we always bring extra toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, shampoo, etc. The towels were just fine and I loved the fact that they provided ample wash cloths in the kitchen for dishes. Lastly – the view ---- OH – THE VIEW!! I never thought I would enjoy a valley view but I have decided it’s my favorite. (We have always looked for cabins at the top of high mountains.) This cabin is NOT located IN the valley as I thought. It is at the top of a small mountain and it allows for both mountain views and a valley view. The cabin is not close to other cabins but I did get the opportunity to meet the gentleman who owns the cabins nearby. They are not rental cabins so you don't have to worry about loud parties in the middle of the night. (We have had that happen in the past.) OK – I have included everything that I would want to know. Now you see why I waited to write this review until I booked for next year. (I wouldn’t want my sales pitch to rob us of this lovely location next year.) Thank you Donn and Margaret for sharing this gem of a cabin!

We love to stay at Golden Memories cabin! This is the perfect gateway for a couple! The cabin is perfect size for 2 people. We are retired and love to explore the Smoky Mountains! We love the location of the cabin being in Wears Valley! Thanks for always being available if any problem occurs no matter how small! ??

Accommodated 3 families with kids. Great spot. Far enough away for some privacy, but also close enough to everything. Would stay again!

My husband and I and my daughter, husband, and baby from Texas came to Townsend area to celebrate our grandson's first birthday (my other daughter and family live in Townsend). We certainly created many new family memories in your cabin. The cabin far surpassed our expectations. It was conveniently located to many attractions, restaurants, stores, etc. We travel often and have rented houses in other cities. This cabin was clean and well supplied. The pool table and hot tub were a real hit. We definitely plan to return.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Family Memories Cabin. The location was great - went to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Dixie Stampede in Pigeon Forge. We liked having all of the space for our family. Enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. The cabin was nicely decorated and clean. I would recommend to other travelers.

My family and I had a great time at the Family Memories Cabin. The cabin was very easy to get to due to its location in the valley. The cabin was VERY CLEAN and comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit area and the view from the front patio/deck was OUTSTANDING! We enjoyed hiking in the Smoky Mountains and had a good time at Tuckaleechee Caverns. Donn and Margaret were always very prompt with their communication. We will definitely stay in their cabins again when we return to the beautiful Smoky Mountains. Thank you very much!

We really enjoyed the view and the country setting away from the hubub of Sevierville. The walks around the cabin and the cabin itself was great. It must be spectacular in the fall. Accomodations were very clean and the kitchen and beds were great. Enjoyed the fire pit. Nice 6 mile jog without going on Wears Valley Road.

I was not sure what to expect because many times when you see pictures and then you arrive they are completely different. I was extremely pleased with the beautiful cabin and surroundings. We never did get a chance to use the pool table, hot tub, oven,grill, or downstairs bedrooms because we were busy from morning until night. The cabin is extremely spacious, especially for our family of 6. My 14 year old grandson chose the loft which is huge with a king bed , sleeper, full bathroom , huge television and plenty of room , my 7 year old grand daughter decided to sleep with mom and dad in their Kong bed , and my husband and I had the other king bedroom . The kitchen table seats 8 people which is great , even though we only ate breakfast in the cabin. If you are looking for a cabin with privacy and one that is spacious this one is for you. We would definitely return.

Wonderful view and location. Very comfortable beds and enough room for ten people and a pet. We really enjoyed our stay.

This is our second year visiting. The stay was even better this year. We had snow and a very nice man came up with salt and a shovel to clear our porch for us. Service you wouldn't get anywhere else. Couldn't ask for a better vacation spot. Will be returning for years to come. I give the information to everyone so they can have a great vacation as well.

My cousins and I had the best time at your well maintained cottage! Heaven's View Cabin had lots of privacy, but was still a short drive into town and other tourist attractions. The views were beautiful and we especially enjoying the hiking in the area.

This is the third time I have rented from Smoky Mountain Golden Cabins and I am never disappointed! This was the second time I have rented the Family Memories cabin. It is always so clean and has everything you need in it. We loved the drive to Pigeon Forge and short drive to Gatlinburg. The hot tub was great after a long day shopping at the stores in town. Highly recommend renting from this company!

Everything was amazing

We stayed at Golden Memories for our 20th anniversary. We wanted to do something special and we were not disappointed. This is a wonderful, spacious cabin in an open area with great views of the mountains. The cabin was easy to find and incredibly close to the mountains, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It was important for us to be able to travel with our dog and this cabin was perfect for him. There was plenty of space to put his crate at the foot of the bed and plenty of space to walk him around outside (unlike many cabins which are on bluffs). The cabin had everything we needed, was super clean and it was like home away from home. We found ourselves asking each other if we could live long term in a cabin like Golden Memories and the answer was yes. Beyond the cabin itself, the customer service we received from Jerry was stellar. He was quick to answer all of our questions and we could not have been happier with this experience.

My friends and I have stayed in this cabin for the 3rd straight year. We love this cabin. All the rooms are private and there are no bunkbeds. It is perfect for our yearly Valentine's trip. This cabin is also very spacious and would be great for a family as well. Its also only a short drive to town.

My wife and I couldn’t ask for an easier process overall or better place to stay. It had everything we needed when staying in the Smokey’s. Great views, great space, secluded, peaceful, etc.

This trip was everything I could have hoped for. The cabin was amazing. The location was perfect for piece and quiet but still convenient distance to stores and attractions in the area. The cabin was spotless and full of amenities like the hot tub, jacuzzi, pool table, and comfortable beds! Definitely will be staying there again with the family.

This cabin was beautiful! As soon as you entered you could tell it was a peaceful Christian lodge that the wonderful owners have shared with us! There was more than enough room to accommodate our needs and the fully equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare all of our meals there! The only negative thing I could possibly say is our stay wasn’t long enough!! We will definitely be back!

The cabin was very clean and beautiful. Looking over the mountain top morning and night was the best view ever. We have stayed in other cabins that belong to you but this one was the best. Thank you and we will be back

The cabin is very close to Pigeon Forge but just far away enough to feel secluded. The drive from the cabin into town was easy to navigate and very scenic! The cabin was beautiful inside and out. The view was absolutely stunning!! The cabin has huge windows surrounding the entire living space so even when you're inside the cabin you still get to enjoy the breathe taking views! Our favorites amenities were the hot tub and fire pit and charcoal bbq grill. I really liked having a fenced yard. It made me feel better when I let my dog outside. My kids loved the pool table. It was great to have a washer and dryer right there too. We used it several times. Make sure you read the binder left on the table. I didn't at first and once I did I was happy to see all the valuable information it included. There are lots of towels and extra comfy throw blankets to use to cuddle up on the couch. The recliners were a big hit with our party. We had seven people total and we were very comfortable. Lots of space for everyone! We would recommend this cabin to others. Especially those with dogs. And we will return for future vacations! The owners were a pleasure to work with. Very attentive. And the neighbors were awesome! Everyone we encountered was super nice! We shopped the local Publix and went to eat at Mel's Diner. Mel's Diner food was just ok to me but the service was outstanding!!!! Above and beyond service from the waiter at Mel's Diner! We will go back and eat there again for sure!

During our stay we enjoyed the cabin. The managers are very responsive to emails and calls. Cabin was Very clean and spacious. Also a lot of privacy. The location is awesome. Located by everything. Gas station. Quick store runs. And food. We stayed for a weekend. I wouldn’t choose another cabin on my next vacation to Tennessee. I’m sticking with Golden View.

Our stay was wonderful! Our group of 12 had plenty of room. The kitchen/living room setup was ideal. It was nice that we didn't have to drive too far up the mountain. All around great cabin, wonderful hosts!
