We so enjoyed our weekend getaway at Golden Memories cabin! The views from the porch were amazing. The cabin was perfect for us - very clean with all the comforts of home! I highly recommend this one!! We will definitely be back!!

My wife and I and our two dogs stayed in the Golden Memories cabin Nov. 11th-17th and couldn't have asked for a better stay. We got in late Saturday night and had absolutely no issue with check-in because all of the details are provided to you ahead of time and you aren't required to drive by an office to pick the keys up. The cabin is tucked away and very private. The sun shining through the huge glass windows in the morning was a great way to start the day. The cabin was so clean and cozy. It is in the perfect location to all attractions and food. It was about 10 minutes into Pigeon Forge, 5-10 minutes into the National Park, and about 25-30 minutes into Gatlinburg. The kitchen came with all of the necessary amenities that we needed to make breakfast and dinner. The large TV was nice to be able to watch a movie and TV shows on during out stay. The bed was very comfortable, however, I would recommend to bring your own pillow if you don't prefer firm pillows. My wife and I have stayed in many cabins and have always looked for new cabins each visit, but this is a cabin that we could visit over and over again. Thank you for having us and we cannot wait to come back!!!

If cleanliness and accessibility is your thing, this is the cabin for you!! The space was super clean and we didn't have to travel any convoluted mountains to get there. The view of the mountain was amazing from the front porch/deck and although it was too cold for the fire pit this trip, it's located in an open area where we would have felt safe doing so! It comfortably sleeps 6 with the option of a pull out couch in the living area. We enjoyed it!

Our family came from the coast of North Carolina, Florida, and Alabama to meet in a more centralized location in the Smoky Mountains. While there, our group of 15 thoroughly enjoyed staying in this cabin! The cabin is beautiful! The view is amazing! The rooms are spacious and very clean. For once, the product (the cabin) is even better than the pictures. The owners are really great to deal with also. We had a little problem with the heater while we were there, but we emailed the owners and they responded within minutes of my email and were actually out to the cabin to correct the problem within an hour or so. We cannot wait to stay in this cabin again when we have a big group go again, and would love to stay in one of their smaller cabins when we go up on our own!

OMG, we all fell in LOVE with Bear Falls cabin!!! There was 10 of us, and we had so much room. I loved the view out the main windows!!!! The kitchen is amazing!!!! We will definately be staying here for our yearly trip. I loved being away from the hustle & bustle of town. And being only minutes from Cades Cove!!!! Property management is wonderful, if there's an issue, they get right on it!! Thank you guys so much for having such an awesome cabin for rent!!! See U soon Bear Falls!!!??

The Wife and I spent our 40th Wedding Anniversary at Golden Memories Cabin. We had a wonderful stay. Absolutely a 5 Star getaway. We were close to all the sites, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, The Smokies etc. We will return. Love Love Love this place. Thank you fir allowing us to spend our 40th Wedding Anniversary here. God Bless.

Every time we stay at Family Memories, Donn & Margaret have made additional improvements all of which add to the feeling of being pampered even by the small amenities. From the fenced back yard ( for our furry family members) to the spectacular sunrises over the mountains through the sunroom windows while sipping your morning cup of coffee , it is an amazing experience. So convenient to the Park & Cade’s Cove as well as dining & shopping in quant Wears Valley. As long as our old bones will get us there, we’ll be back.

My family stayed in Golden View Lodge for a reunion weekend. This is our third time staying in a Smoky Mountain Golden Cabin, and it seems the old adage is true...third times a charm! While we loved our first two cabins, Gold View was remarkable. The cabin is spacious, well maintained and clean. The hot tub, fire pit and grill are perfect for outdoor entertainment. And best of all, the fantastic panoramic view can be viewed from the living room, master bedroom, and kitchen as well as from the wrap-around deck. We loved it and plan to return next fall.

My husband and I rented this cabin to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We had such a wonderful time and would like to thank you for allowing us to rent it. The cabin is beautiful and was very clean. The location is private, but close to all of the activities. The bed was comfortable and we felt right at home here. We have rented many cabins over the years and Simply Golden is definitely one of the best we have rented. There is nothing negative to say about this cabin, other than you have to be able to climb stairs, which we did not have a problem with. We roasted marshmallows, relaxed in the hot tub, and made many memories. We will definitely rent this cabin again!

Though we have been to Gatlinburg several times, this was our first experience staying in a cabin. It certainly will not be our last! The Simply Golden cabin was exactly what we were hoping for---a place where we could escape to find rest and relaxation. The cabin was very spacious, clean, and well-kept. It offered a beautiful view, and had all the amenities we could have asked for in a cabin. Our son had a wonderful time in the game room, and we especially enjoyed the campfire area and porch for relaxing. We cooked all our meals in the cabin and enjoyed sitting around the fire or watching movies. The cable and internet were great perks as well! We will definitely return for another cabin stay! Thanks for making our first cabin stay such a wonderful experience!

My sisters, nieces, and cousins met in the Smoky Mtn for a girl's getaway. This cabin was wonderful! Beautiful scenery, easy parking, fully furnished. Couldn't ask for more. And the owners were so nice and accommodating. Can't wait to go back some time.

We rented this cabin for a long weekend in the mountains with our children and grandchildren. Everyone loved this cabin! It was beautiful inside and out and it had games that the children could play like Foosball and air hockey. We loved the fire-pit area where we roasted marshmallows and made s'mores. The cabin is also in a great location which gives you access to some of the back-roads to get around Pigeon Forge traffic! We are glad we found Smoky Mountain Golden Cabins on the web!

This has been our 7th straight year renting these cabins and we absolutely love family memories. The view is awesome and the location is perfect. You are a short ride into Townsend to head to some great restaurants or the the smokies or cades cove. You’re also about 20-30 minute ride into pigeon forge or gatlinburg. We love staying on the quiet side of the smokies. We will be back again next year.

The cabin exceeded expectations: very spacious, fresh smell and clean. The kitchen was nicely stocked with utensils and cookware. The beds were stated as fabulous from all siblings. We had a great time around the fire pit at night. Memories never to be forgotten! Thanks for sharing your mtn. gem!

In all of the years that we have been going to the Smokies this is the best place we have stayed. Great hospitality, quaint quiet area just in driving distance of all the places we wanted to see. Beautiful view, very nice. 5 stars for me.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bear Lodge. It was nice to do our running around, then return to the peace and quiet. We may never use a motel again. We were able to be together without feeling like we were on top of each other. Thank you again! Kim

My family and I enjoyed the location. Having restaurants. stores and attractions close was a plus. The cabin is set up right for an extended stay with everything you need. Bear Falls cabin had everything we needed! Great kitchen with lots of supplies, including a dishwasher which made cleanup easy; washer/dryer, which came in handy after fishing and hiking in the rain and mud; hottub and jaccuzi tub for relaxing; lots of games, etc. It was also super close to the park, but also very secluded - we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, but actually had just a short drive to the park, grocery, etc. Looking forward to staying again with friends! Without searching too hard for a place to stay for our large group, it didn't take long to choose this place based on the pictures and reviews. We were not disappointed!! Sooo clean (which is very important to me) and the rooms and views were gorgeous! Calls made to owners for questions were answered right away with pleasure in their voices. The pool is about a mile away and we had to call for directions. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and will likely be back myself!! Thank you for the beautiful clean cabin!!

Our family had a great stay. The view is wonderful and it is very quiet. We would definitely like to come back. We were up for the Great Smoky Mtn Half Marathon and it was the perfect surroundings. We used all bedrooms for our big family get together and race. Thanks for the memories.

We found this place as advertised. Quiet. Really loved the good views from the porch and the deck. Parking for 5-6 cars is no problem. No dangerous drop-offs to worry about in regards to little children. Nice outdoor fire pit area. 2 fridges helped us pack in the food. Quick access to basic shopping and the restaurants in Wears Valley. Not all bedrooms have TV's, but wireless internet is fine.

The cabin was beautiful and very clean. Easy to find. This was the first time we have stayed in Wears Valley and loved it. The cabin had lots if space. I would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub and pool table. Very good restaurants nearby. We especially liked Grandmothers Kitchen and Geppetto's Italian. Saw the total eclipse in Madisonville. Easy access to Smoky Mt. Park. It was a great week.

We had a great time-just wished we could have stayed longer. Your cabin had everything we needed to make ourselves at home. The seclusion was great yet very close to the main highway. And the view was fantastic. As advertised, the beds were very comfortable. I have a hard time finding anything negative about your cabin. The only negative I would say would be having to take garbage off of the property to a dumpster-however it was very accessible when we left going places. Again a wonderful stay in a beautiful cabin. My family and I had an awesome time in the Smokys! The cabin was perfect! Clean, spacious, great view, great location, easy to access and close to trails, Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge. Hot tub, fire pit and pool table were nice adds while we stayed. We also slipped on down the road a couple miles to the pool. Everyone in town was super friendly!

Our group had a fantastic time at Bear Falls. It wa a group of eight women who are all friends and knitters. We reserved it for the eclipse weekend and had a great time. The cabin was very clean and well furnished. We used the kitchen and it had all the equipment we needed. We also used the grill. The wrap and porches were great too. Lots of outdoor sitting and dining. We would all highly recommend a stay with Black bear Cabins.

My family had a great time at the Family Memories cabin in Wears Valley. The cabin was clean, and looked exactly like the pictures we saw online. Beds were comfortable and the walk in shower was very nice to use. Enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. We had a minor issue with the grill running out of gas, but after emailing Donn, he had 2 full tanks delivered by the next morning. We also enjoyed the nearby swimming pool, very nice pool. The cabin was easy to find, after a picturesque drive from Pigeon Forge into Wears Valley. We had meals at nearby Elvira's Cafe and Hillbilly's restaurant, both were very good. I'd recommend the cabin to anyone...5 stars!

Girls trip last year, family trip this year. Perfect place for both gatherings! The view can't be beat.

Our group of 10 had plenty of room at the house. The house was clean and had everything that we needed in it. The views were amazing you sat on the porch or looked out the windows and you had a beautiful view of the mountains. The cabin is close to attractions and the Smoky Mountains National Park. I would definitely recommend the Golden View Lodge to anyone with a group of people plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. I would definitely book this cabin. 5 Stars

We loved this cabin! It is secluded,but not far from attractions.It is up to date,with plenty of room for our group of 9. Upon arrival the cabin was very clean,grass freshly mowed,outside areas were clean. We will definitely stay in this cabin again in the future.

This place was AWESOME! We had 10 people stay and it was pretty comfortable. Loved the privacy and the fire pit! Very close to so many activities!!

Wonderful accommodations and views. The resident black bear "Mason", named by my granddaughter, greeted us upon arrival. Cabin had everything we needed except maybe a screwdriver, hammer and a pair of scissors. Pool was refreshing and close by. We enjoyed tubing, mountain roller coaster and the Titanic Museum. Great restaurants and delicious food also nearby. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and highly recommend to fellow travelers.

We absolutely loved everything about Golden Memories Cabin. We are 63 years old and we've been married for 43 years. We have traveled a good bit over the years, but never stayed in a Cabin while vacationing. Staying at Golden Memories Cabin was the best thing we could have done. The Cabin was very beautiful, clean and very well equipped with everything we needed. Thanks again for sharing Golden Memories Cabin with us.

My family and I stayed at Donn and Margaret's Golden View Lodge from July 27th through August 1st. This was a much needed family vacation for my family of 18, whose age ranged from 9 to 69. Our time spent in the cabin was very enjoyable and the cabin while secluded, was just a stones throw away from many outdoor activities which we all enjoyed. The cabin was extremely clean, the plumbing and air condition was fully operational, and the mountain view ...BREATHTAKING! My stay was very memorable and not only do we plan on visiting Tennessee in the future, we would definitely stay at Golden View Lodge, again and again and again!

We stayed at the Smokey Mt. Cabins on July 5th-9th and it was an awesome way to celebrate our new marriage. The cabin was 100% better than the gorgeous pictures they have online which we didn't think was possible. Everything we read about this place ended up being true and it was a trip that will last a lifetime. We are so excited to come back and use the cabin again for anniversaries. There was so much to do and so much to come home too. We found ourselves running out of time to get everything in and enjoy the cabin for one trip. When we come back we will be booking for a week.

We couldn't have been happier with our stay at the Black Bear Lodge cabin! It was very clean and well equipped. The location is perfect and we took advantage of the back roads to get into Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, wasn't stuck in traffic at all. Truly a wonderful vacation. Wa will return!
