Our family had a great stay. The view is wonderful and it is very quiet. We would definitely like to come back. We were up for the Great Smoky Mtn Half Marathon and it was the perfect surroundings. We used all bedrooms for our big family get together and race. Thanks for the memories.

We found this place as advertised. Quiet. Really loved the good views from the porch and the deck. Parking for 5-6 cars is no problem. No dangerous drop-offs to worry about in regards to little children. Nice outdoor fire pit area. 2 fridges helped us pack in the food. Quick access to basic shopping and the restaurants in Wears Valley. Not all bedrooms have TV's, but wireless internet is fine.

The cabin was beautiful and very clean. Easy to find. This was the first time we have stayed in Wears Valley and loved it. The cabin had lots if space. I would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub and pool table. Very good restaurants nearby. We especially liked Grandmothers Kitchen and Geppetto's Italian. Saw the total eclipse in Madisonville. Easy access to Smoky Mt. Park. It was a great week.

We had a great time-just wished we could have stayed longer. Your cabin had everything we needed to make ourselves at home. The seclusion was great yet very close to the main highway. And the view was fantastic. As advertised, the beds were very comfortable. I have a hard time finding anything negative about your cabin. The only negative I would say would be having to take garbage off of the property to a dumpster-however it was very accessible when we left going places. Again a wonderful stay in a beautiful cabin. Thanks so much for a great time!!!!

My family and I had an awesome time in the Smokys! The cabin was perfect! Clean, spacious, great view, great location, easy to access and close to trails, Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge. Hot tub, fire pit and pool table were nice adds while we stayed. We also slipped on down the road a couple miles to the pool. Everyone in town was super friendly!

Our group had a fantastic time at Bear Falls. It wa a group of eight women who are all friends and knitters. We reserved it for the eclipse weekend and had a great time. The cabin was very clean and well furnished. We used the kitchen and it had all the equipment we needed. We also used the grill. The wrap and porches were great too. Lots of outdoor sitting and dining. We would all highly recommend a stay with Black bear Cabins.

My family had a great time at the Family Memories cabin in Wears Valley. The cabin was clean, and looked exactly like the pictures we saw online. Beds were comfortable and the walk in shower was very nice to use. Enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. We had a minor issue with the grill running out of gas, but after emailing Donn, he had 2 full tanks delivered by the next morning. We also enjoyed the nearby swimming pool, very nice pool. The cabin was easy to find, after a picturesque drive from Pigeon Forge into Wears Valley. We had meals at nearby Elvira's Cafe and Hillbilly's restaurant, both were very good. I'd recommend the cabin to anyone...5 stars!

Girls trip last year, family trip this year. Perfect place for both gatherings! The view can't be beat.

Our group of 10 had plenty of room at the house. The house was clean and had everything that we needed in it. The views were amazing you sat on the porch or looked out the windows and you had a beautiful view of the mountains. The cabin is close to attractions and the Smoky Mountains National Park. I would definitely recommend the Golden View Lodge to anyone with a group of people plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. I would definitely book this cabin. 5 Stars

We loved this cabin! It is secluded,but not far from attractions.It is up to date,with plenty of room for our group of 9. Upon arrival the cabin was very clean,grass freshly mowed,outside areas were clean. We will definitely stay in this cabin again in the future.

This place was AWESOME! We had 10 people stay and it was pretty comfortable. Loved the privacy and the fire pit! Very close to so many activities!!

Wonderful accommodations and views. The resident black bear "Mason", named by my granddaughter, greeted us upon arrival. Cabin had everything we needed except maybe a screwdriver, hammer and a pair of scissors. Pool was refreshing and close by. We enjoyed tubing, mountain roller coaster and the Titanic Museum. Great restaurants and delicious food also nearby. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and highly recommend to fellow travelers.

We absolutely loved everything about Golden Memories Cabin. We are 63 years old and we've been married for 43 years. We have traveled a good bit over the years, but never stayed in a Cabin while vacationing. Staying at Golden Memories Cabin was the best thing we could have done. The Cabin was very beautiful, clean and very well equipped with everything we needed. Thanks again for sharing Golden Memories Cabin with us.

My family and I stayed at Donn and Margaret's Golden View Lodge from July 27th through August 1st. This was a much needed family vacation for my family of 18, whose age ranged from 9 to 69. Our time spent in the cabin was very enjoyable and the cabin while secluded, was just a stones throw away from many outdoor activities which we all enjoyed. The cabin was extremely clean, the plumbing and air condition was fully operational, and the mountain view ...BREATHTAKING! My stay was very memorable and not only do we plan on visiting Tennessee in the future, we would definitely stay at Golden View Lodge, again and again and again!

We stayed at the Smokey Mt. Cabins on July 5th-9th and it was an awesome way to celebrate our new marriage. The cabin was 100% better than the gorgeous pictures they have online which we didn't think was possible. Everything we read about this place ended up being true and it was a trip that will last a lifetime. We are so excited to come back and use the cabin again for anniversaries. There was so much to do and so much to come home too. We found ourselves running out of time to get everything in and enjoy the cabin for one trip. When we come back we will be booking for a week.

We couldn't have been happier with our stay at the Black Bear Lodge cabin! It was very clean and well equipped. The location is perfect and we took advantage of the back roads to get into Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, wasn't stuck in traffic at all. Truly a wonderful vacation. Wa will return!

We so loved our stay in your beautiful cabin! Thank you for making sure we had everything we needed and more to make our time there so very comfortable! It certainly felt like home. Our kids are all older from ages 13 - 23 years and they all had a great time! We loved the view, the hot tub was incredible, the fire pit was a hit at night for smores and hotdogs, we had plenty of room for everyone to play games, and the memories made are worth more than anything! Very clean and beautiful cabin. We are very happy with our vacation with Simply Golden.

This cabin has it all! We loved the beautiful view and comfortable seating on the large, covered decks. We liked that it was on just 2 floors with lots of open living space, 2 large dining tables, and big comfy sofas. The bedrooms were all a nice size with good mattresses and well-covered windows. There is a huge closet off the master bedroom that easily accommodated a pack 'n play for the baby. The kitchen had everything we needed: lots of plates, glasses, small appliances, and large serving pieces. Wifi worked great and the second frig was a nice bonus. The location is ideal for Pigeon Forge and Townsend. It will be our new go-to spot for the whole family!

My wife and I had a wonderful time celebrating our 15th Anniversary at Golden Memories. The cabin is very conveniently located off 321. We love this location because of proximity to the National Park. The setting was very peaceful and the back deck was outstanding. Thank you for sharing this wonderful cabin. We already are looking forward to our next visit.

We were 10 of us - a reunion of friends from different parts of the world. Couldn't have asked for a more fun and serene place to spend the week. The view and surroundings were simply breathtaking. The spacious cabin was easy to access and was equipped with everthing we needed to cook and enjoy our time together. The owners promptly responded to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend this cabin and look forward to returning here in the future.

When vacationing in the Smoky Mountains there are tons of cabins to choose from online, all claiming to be "the best". We had never been to the area before, so it was a bit stressful deciding where to stay, much less knowing if the accommodations were as represented on the website. We were pleasantly surprised with Family Memories! The location is perfect. Close enough to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and the park entrances, yet far enough away from the crowds to be able to truly relax at night. The cabin was much bigger than we needed (only 2 of us) but we went with this one because of the fenced in yard for our pups traveling with us. Not having to walk them on leashes each time they need to do their business outside is a huge plus! If we ever venture to the Smoky Mountains again, we would definitely see if Family Memories was available to make more memories of our own.

Donn & Margaret, Thank you for getting our summer off to a great start. Our cabin rental was super easy. The self check-in was fast and convenient. The arrangement of the rental units maximized the privacy and restfulness of our stay. The cabin was more comfortable than what we expected based on the description. This was the best vacation rental I've ever done.

We very much enjoyed our stay in the Simply Golden Cabin! The cabin was very clean and we loved the decor. It was close by to all of the main attractions and just a short drive to Cades Cove! I told my husband multiple times I would love to take this cabin home with us to live in! A lot of space and very cozy! We will definitely be staying here again!

Our family had a "siblings and spouses" retreat at Golden View Lodge. It was a perfect setting for us with beautiful vistas in a peaceful and quiet setting, yet with lots of entertainment just a short drive away. We had a wonderful time and hope to repeat the experience!

We have come back to Heaven's View 3 years in a row. You can't beat the view, and the house is clean, comfortable, well appointed, and conveniently located for hiking around Cade's Cover in the park. We love the hot tub and the pool table, but the highlight is lounging on the beautiful terrace after a day in the park.

We LOVED the cabin. Very roomy. Very clean. Plenty of towels. The beds were very comfortable. The setting is very nice. Big porches. Highly recommend! We would absolutely stay here again.

This was our first time visiting the Smokies and had a wonderful time. The Simply Golden cabin was absolutely beautiful and the view was amazing. Wish it wouldn't had rained the whole time while we were there, but if you were going to have to spend it indoors this would be the place to stay. We will definitely be back, there's no need to look around anywhere else to stay.

This was our third time at this cabin and every time something is new for guests. This time there were very comfortable stuffed outside chairs on the front deck. The location, so close to Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a huge plus. We will be back again, Larry, Nancy, Maggie Mae, Teddy Bear

We spent our honeymoon here ... EXACTLY like the pictures, hot tub was amazing, the view spectacular, and the cabin so clean and beautiful. Loved that they had a helpful handbook with suggestions of things to do around towns nearby. We couldn't have asked for a more peaceful, beautiful, easy stay. Only one complaint ... we couldn't stay longer. Lol We will definitely return and book a longer stay next time! I would highly recommend this cabin or any other owned/operated by this amazing couple!
