This was our 2nd trip to Owls Nook. We came the same time last year and were up to our knees in snow. We had hoped for a repeat this year, but mother nature had other plans. We missed the snow but still had a great time. We enjoyed checking out the shops in town, had a delicious meal at Grizzly Cafe, stopped by the local ice cream/candy shop for treats! Our family enjoyed the fresh air, the peaceful community, and the starry nights. The cabin is very cozy, fireplace burning, watching movies and playing board games. Will be returning next year.

Hi! Barbara the host was wonderful to communicate with. She was helpful, responsive and very kind. The home was beautiful with comfortable, warm, mountain rustic charming touches. Very spacious, clean with an updated modern feel. Great fenced in backyard for my doggy who was very happy with that. Very close to the adorable town of Wrightwood and all the ski slopes. I would highly recommend anyone to come stay here!! I will be returning here in the future. Many thanks Barbara for an excellent experience!!!!!

My family and I decided to stay at this cabin for a winter getaway and we had an amazing stay! The cabin was so warm and cozy and had all the supplies for a perfect stay. We had so much fun and made great memories. Thank you! We hope to be back to try the other cabins as well!

Hi We love it, I just want to say it was perfect, we came here for our 4 years anniversary, and to get away from La, which consist of daily stress fast pace , work stress and bills, we think this was a perfect place quiet and nicer and nature. And it was nice meeting Barbara and Stu, you two are a wonderful and thankyou for helping and making us feel comfortable staying here. We will for sure come again. We had a great stay in Chickadee and enjoyed Wrightwood in general. The cabin is cozy and cute, with everything you need to feel at home. The friendly brew-pub in town has great beer, and every place we stopped seemed to offer a chance for conversation with locals. If we find ourselves in the area again, we'll definitely look to stay at Chickadee once more.

We had a great two days here... bed was very comfortable and it was so peaceful and quiet we had difficulty waking in the mornings! Beautiful area and we enjoyed a walk with superb views from Inspiration Point to Jackson Flat. Well stocked deli store in town and Grizzly Cafe is very good!

Came up to get away from from everything and everyone for a couple days. Had a great time and was very relaxing. Great places to eat in Wrightwood.

Chickadee was a charming little getaway for us!

We had an amazing time. This home is in a really nice neighborhood and is very cozy.

Chickadee and Wrightwood with all its trails and friendly people is just what my girlfriend and I needed for our vacation. After hiking a trail, it was nice coming back to Chickadee and being able to shower and use the sauna. We would then take a nap and either drive or walk to the town to dine and just enjoy the warm ambiance of the town. On a few days, we would just sit back and relax in Chickadee either playing a few board games, watching TV, or listening to some music along with drinking a few beers. The food and treats at Wrightwood do not disappoint. A few of our favorites were the fudge, pizza, and the Mexican food. Thank you Barbara for providing a cozy cabin for us to use and enjoy.

I stayed in Reindeer Cottage with Janis, my wife and Thursday the Wonder Dog. It was pleasant and quiet. It was a nice change from the July 4. We enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen and generous deck space.

This place is a little corner of heaven, shaded property tucked back in a culdesac bordered by adjoining property chickadee,same owner very private,quiet, lovely cabin, extremely cozy, everything works perfect, you will feel like your in your own home, but your in Wrightwood, look no further for perfect getaway, romantic, or family fun, full size kitchen, lacks nothing, pictures of this place speaks to your funky, cool taste of furnishings, my wife and I absolutely loved it here, the owners are awesome about answering any questions quickly while your here. Doesn't get any better than here.

We were lucky enough to snag a last minute reservation for the Chickadee Cabin and it was wonderful! Super cute decor, perfect location and perfect amount of space for us. We even took advantage of the grill that was there! It was a low on propane, so as a token of our appreciation, we chipped in for a refill for the next group! We will definitely be back again!

The Owls Nook was a wonderful mountain Cabin. We had originally booked it for two day but we loved it so much we extended our stay. We had the family up and it was the best bonding experience we have had in a long time. We all lived in Wrightwood years ago and the town is as friendly and quaint as it ever was. One Of the highlights of the stay was the snow falling outside while we sat in front of the fireplace inside. The view of the snow through the large windows in the great room was beautiful. I can't say enough about how welcome and special you made us feel. Thank you so much again. Our family will never forget the memories we made together in your lovely cabin.

Our family had a wonderful and awesome time at your lovely Chickadee Cabin in Wrightwood! This was our first family snow trip and our children who are the ages of 9 and 12 were so excited! Our children got the opportunity to play in fresh fallen snow on the morning before we left which made this trip super special for us. Chickadee was the perfect cozy cabin for our family. The cabin decor, high ceilings, kitchenette, loft bed, bedroom, bathroom, and of course the setting was amazing! We were able to enjoy some family movies, cuddle, drink hot cocoa, explore Wrightwood, and most of all enjoy our family time together. Wrightwood is a wonderful beautiful town and we will never forget our time together at the Chickadee Cabin. Thank you very much for sharing your wonderful cabin with us!

What a beautiful cabin. So peaceful. My family enjoyed their first cabin experience in the snow. For my daughter, it was the first time she'd seen snow aside from a light dusting on the mountains above us. She's already asking when we can return. Definitely returning.

We absolutely fell in love with the Reindeer Cottage and Wrightwood. The cabin has everything we could need, and more. The happy old stove was perfect for us and the well stocked kitchen utensils allowed us to cook at home everyday. Several evenings the weather dropped well below our comfort zone. The heater worked wonderfully and felt brand new! We enjoyed burning fires each night as well-put off great heat! The decor is fun and charming. Plenty of beds, space and blankets to keep you cozy. The shower stayed nice and hot the entire time, and we enjoyed watching movies, reading and playing games. We adventured on several hikes and daily walks into town and throughout the neighborhood..The "new" brewery at the top of the hill, in town, was delicious as was Grizzly Bear Cafe, Blue Ridge Inn, Cinnamons Bakery (great vegetarian and vegan options), and Mile High Pizza. The cabin and Wrightwood itself was everything a mountain town could be. We look forward to coming back!

This is a small hideaway up in Wrightwood that easily sleeps four. My girls loved the loft and fun decorations. We used this cabin as landing place as we returned in the country. It was good to have our own little place with a kitchen to make our own food. Having a coffee maker was an excellent benefit.

We had a great time and the cabins were wonderful. We rented the cabins for my Daughters wedding and they worked out perfect. It was nice having enough space for all of our family members, and having both cabins on site made it perfect. The cabins had everything you could need and my Grand daughters loved the tire swing. We look forward to staying there again.

Everything about this cottage is on point....we had 7 adults and one french bulldog and we were all comfortable....this cottage had plenty of space for us all....we especially loved the dinning room and back deck....beds were comfortable....I could go on and on....I am hoping to have an opportunity to go for again!!!

We had a great time attending our friends wedding at the Guest Ranch. Little Pines was so cute, clean and comfortable!

We came to celebrate my 29th birthday and for Father's Day weekend. We loved staying at Owls Nook. We felt right at home right away and loved exploring the house. We can't wait to book another weekend this summer.

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. The yard was a great place to chat and watch birds. The fireplace and master bedroom were perfect. The nights were wonderfully quiet. And we all agreed that the large windows in the dining room were the best way to start the day. Thanks for having us!

Was looking for something cute and cozy to spend the weekend in Wrightwood and I feel like I found exactly what I wanted. Totally loved it and will tell others for future stays.
