We absolutely love good dog vacations at big Valley resort!! The staff was very accommodating and nice to us! We stayed at the Apache chalet, which was absolutely beautiful. It was clean. We had several fires in their large brick fireplace, especially just getting away and able to bring her dog with us. Thank you good dog vacations at big Valley resort!! We have stayed in dog friendly cabins before, but this one was way more welcoming! The fenced in yard was perfect. I loved how you left a doggy trash can outside so I can easily pick up after my dogs. The deck and the privacy hedges were so nice. I also appreciated that you provided dog bowls, dog blankets, and doggy poop bags. You were truly accommodating.

We were very impressed with the amenities offered, supplies in the house, and the courteous attention of the staff. This was a trial for us, to see if we could actually have a short vacation with the dogs. We plan to return. I have forwarded information to my nephew and his wife as they also plan to try to come. It was our second time and I can say that it was even better, see our dog running around happy and safe where he is welcomed really fill our hearts with love. We enjoy our walks around the property and how easy it is to get to places where our baby is welcomed as well. Thank you for having us and we will come back !!!

We will diffently be back. It was so peaceful and private and our Dog loved loved it. Loved the chalet and cleanliness and everything you need is there. The fenced in yard was great. I never had to worry he could get out. Chunk loved the Apache because he could chase the cars around the corner. Had a Great time.

The château Delaware was a more than generous size for us two adults and four large dogs. The AC was on when we arrived and every room was comfortable. Every necessity was met in the kitchen. The beds and pillows were better than most hotels I’ve stayed with. The shower was full sized with good water pressure. The dogs loved it too and adapted quickly. The thing that I would suggest to others coming to Big Valley with an older dog is to bring an area rug with you. One of our dogs had an issue standing up from the linoleum floors. And there are five steps to get into the house from the yard. Just a good thing to know. Something else to know is we accidentally broke the craft to the coffee maker. When we reported what happened the staff was gracious and understanding. We appreciated that very much. On that note, it is not just the place that makes a great stay but the people who staff. I want to thank Jackie and Irene for making it wonderful. I hope to return.

We enjoyed our stay at Good Dogs Vacations. Heather, Jackie and Frank were very friendly and helpful. The chalet was spacious, comfortable and clean. All the furniture was slip covered and dog friendly so, no problem with them cuddling up with you on the couch or chairs. Floors throughout were all hardwood look vinyl plank flooring which is also very dog friendly. The very private large patio deck was a nice plus. Our dog Apricot ("Appy") loved having the fenced in yard to run around and play in which was also a real plus for us to just let her out to go potty. Plenty of things to see and do close by. Jackie recommended the nearby Mountain View Vineyard winery which was a great place to spend the afternoon relaxing and enjoying the view with our dog, especially on the day it poured rain. They have a large wrap around porch that is very dog friendly and serves food.

Loved our stay - house and grounds were immaculate and very dog-friendly. Really loved the house layout and decor. Enjoyed visiting with Sasha. Looking forward to our next stay hopefully this Fall.

This was our second stay in the past six months. Our 3 dogs love it and we love that we can go away with our babies!!! This is our favorite place to stay and we will back.

We had an excellent holiday. Loved walking the trails with our black labs. Place was very clean as promised. Dogs loved their holiday. Nice to find a place allows larger dogs. The fenced in yard was great too.

We had a great stay. The chalet was very clean and had everything needed, except in the kitchen. Would be awesome with more cookware & things to help make meals. Other than that, we love staying with our dog & all the cute dog decorations. Our dog loves the fenced in yard, the apache yard could use an extra light & maybe a light where you park. We saw a solar light but it was not working. We will definitely be back next year & look forward to our next great stay!

We can’t thank you enough for the no-breed restriction policy. Our family of 2 humans and 3 dogs enjoyed our time in the Apache unit. We love the nature trial and visited several times during our stay. Will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our time at Good Dogs Vacation. The staff was very friendly and recommended a beautiful winery. The chalet was decorated with a dog theme and was comfortable and clean. Loved the fenced in yard and dog pool. We will definitely book another visit.

So happy we found Good Dog Resorts. It was the perfect get-away with our two Shih Tzus. The fenced and gated deck and yard were so convenient. The girls were perfectly safe so we didn’t need to worry. The house was spacious, private and decorated with a cute dog theme. The grounds were beautiful. We’re looking forward to going back.

We had the best time! Our huskies played and ran and waded and splashed. It is rare to see them totally worn out, but they crashed Friday night! Have you ever seen a husky smile? Pictures and videos do not do this place justice. Well appointed kitchen, spacious living room, and nice bathrooms. We loved the deck and outside space. I am already looking to make our next reservation at Good Dog Vacations!

My family visited with our 2 dogs and had an amazing time. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. We walked the trail and enjoyed the pool. We plan on visiting every year now.

The place was nicer than the pictures & it was very clean. We were able to relax & enjoy & our3 dogs were able to run around in the large fenced in area with the doggie pool. They also enjoyed all the nature trail walks. We had a great time!!! We will definitely be back!!!

Had a wonderful experience at the resort. The availability of the full serve kitchen was fantastic, as well as the setup of the resort. WiFi was also excellent. It was very clean and well put together. Only concerns: gym should be open throughout the weekend, more pillows on each bed, and the hose that we had was operable by pliers. Other than that, the experience was wonderful and very relaxing! Loved all the accessories that were available for my dog, Thor.

From the beginning to the end of our vacation, everything was fantastic. I think the Mohawk is my new favorite. It was amazing when we arrived. We loved it as well as our two dogs. We had the most relaxing vacation. It was so peaceful and quiet there. We absolutely loved the pool, and our dogs really loved the big walks and the nature trail. Staff we met were so kind and helpful. It was like coming back home. We will definitely book a vacation for next year.

Great resort, friendly staff and our dog Charlie loved the vacation. Everything advertized was correct. Great internet, clean accommodations, great paths to walk dog... we were very happy (even the teenagers!)

We recently visited the good dog vacation- it was perfect. The Mohawk chalet was spotless and decorated adorably with a dog theme. It was extremely bright and had everything we needed. Our dog Rocky loved the chalet, fenced in yard and deck. He went for several walks along the nature trail. It was peaceful and close to so many attractions. I highly recommend this place, we will definitely be returning. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating.

We arrived Friday early afternoon; we requested an early check in which was accommodated. The place was even nicer than the pictures and our expectations. The chalet was spotless and very cutely decorated with an emphasis on dogs. Our dog Rocky made himself right at home and we were comfortable knowing everything was fenced in. The nature trail was a perfect walk for us and Rocky. There are many things close by. We highly recommend this place for anyone that wants to vacation with their dog. We will definitely be returning. Our family of 4 dogs had a wonderful time at the Apache Chalet. The dog themed decorations were sweet and the resort area was quiet and peaceful. We especially loved the nature trail that had a well maintained path and flowing stream. It wasn't too strenuous for our senior dogs either. Our younger dogs enjoyed walking throughout the serene resort and vast field. The only thing missing was some salt and pepper in the kitchen! We can't wait to visit again. Thank you for welcoming our big doggie family!

If you love family and don’t want to leave your fur babies behind, this is the place to go. Fenced in wrap around porch and yard. Beautiful view and lots of room with a working fireplace. Three bedrooms 2 full baths and everything you need. This is a hidden treasure in the Poconos! Many thank to Kelly, Heather and Jackie for making our stay a trip to remember! We will be definitely be going back
