We have stayed at Paradise Pines many times and love it. Great location to town, beach, lake, and grocery store. The cabins are cozy and clean and the shared space has a large table/chairs, grill, shuffle board. The owners Lisa and Carl do a great job. The property is so clean.

We absolutely loved our stay with our family. It was a "Christmas in July" gift to our kids and grandkids. The best present ever! We all loved the special touches of the resort and our hosts Carl and Lisa were amazing and so accommodating. Thank you and hope to stay again next year at Paradise Pines!

My husband and I stayed in Cottage #5 over Fourth of July (about 5 nights). Our cottage was very comfortable (great bed!), very clean and had lovely whimsical details!! Although we didn't use many of thier extra services- bikes, games, shuffleboards etc we thought it was really nice that they were available! We would definitely recommend Paradise Pines and I know we will be back!

This is the second time we stayed here and we love it. Lisa and Carl’s cottages are clean, comfortable and very charming. The “Hut” is stocked with games, toys and chairs to take to Lake Michigan which is a short walk away. We rode very comfortable bikes downtown to Elk Rapids and nearby To the Twisted Fish Gallery. We truly appreciated all the nice touches provided by our hosts.

I stayed 2 nights and found Paradise Pines Resort to be a perfect landing spot! Its location so close to the lake is fabulous and I like the shuffleboard court and outdoor seating. I spent one evening on the lounge chair just hanging out. I found the cabin clean and the mattress on the bed supportive and comfortable which is a huge thing for me! I was most impressed with the "little things" like enough coffee to get me started, paper towels, spices and even a fish filet knife in the kitchen area and a box of tissue and makeup remover pads in the bathroom. These "little things" distinguish Paradise Pines from other places. Thank you!

This little cottage cabin has so much charm both inside and outside! Every detail was thought of for guests. Repurposing these old cabins into cozy getaways showcases Lisa and Carl’s talents! Can’t wait to get visit again!

We stayed 4 nights. Entire cottage was very clean. Queen bed was very comfortable - firm, which we like. Plenty of blankets available, although we did not need them, thanks to the combination heater/air-conditioner which kept the cottage perfectly comfortable. Bathroom was well-stocked with plenty of towels for our 4-night stay, and with shampoo/body-wash/conditioner in the shower's dispenser. Shower had plenty of warm water and a good flow, including the hand-held head. I believe the cottage is ADA cmopliant, which we did not need but worked fine for us. Plenty of closet space, plenty of seating options in livingroom and for kitchen. Elk Rapids and Traverse City have many outdoor options. We enjoyed the Maple Bay Trains just 4 miles south, and the wonderful "hidden treasure" Music Museum containing hundreds of unusual old automated music devices, some of which were operated by our guide to the enjoyment of our small tour group.

This is our 2nd. time staying at Paradise Pines. Lovely little cabins. Extremely clean & well stocked. Nice, helpful owners too!

We loved our stay at Paradise Pines. Cottage 4 was perfect for the 2 of us. Lisa and Carl have thought of everything as they upgraded this cottage. For a small space there was so much storage space, it was so thoughtfully and practically arranged. And they provided everything we needed to fully feel at home. The kitchen and bathroom had all the necessary items and the sectional couch was so comfy and cozy. The bed was also extremely comfortable. The outdoor chairs and table for our use were very appreciated and the common area with gas grill and firepit (ready to use) were also so nice. We will certainly be back!

My buddy and I were in the area while on a fishing trip. Although Cottage 3 was small, it had everything we needed since we spent most of the days on the water. The cottage was super clean, the amenities were great, beds very comfortable and the owner was very friendly and accommodating. We had nearby electric outlet for charging boat batteries and could back in with the boat without having to unhook it from our truck. I highly recommend it whether you're two people visiting to fish or sight-see.

We recently stayed in two cabins: my daughter's family and kids, and my husband and me in an adjacent cabin. The owners obviously have been very attentive to every need in the cabins, which have been very carefully remodeled. They are clean and very comfortable. The beach is a short walk across the street and the downtown beach in Elk Rapids is about 3 minutes by car. This is a great place for families or couples.

We really enjoyed our stay at the PPR cottage. The location is private , relaxing, and so close to parks and Lake Michigan! The owners and staff pay attention to details inside and out! I really appreciated how clean and stocked the cottages are and the beds are so comfortable we slept so good!!! We will be back and look forward to it!!

This beautiful cottage now ranks as our favorite vacation rental ever. Everything about it (and the whole Paradise Pines resort) is just perfect. The kitchen is stocked as well as mine at home. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are right on. So many extras and special touches... Top notch property - we can't wait to come back next year!

Can not say enough how much we loved this place. Everything you needed from home was thought of, kitchen and bath. The place was super clean, the property was beautiful. They set to a fire for guests at night. Showed my son how to play shuffle board. The beach and trails with sculptures across the street were perfect. We came to visit torch lake, but ended up really enjoying this beach better. Great for kids, and couples. Loved it!!!

We enjoyed the area! Close to shopping, restaurants and the beach. Cabin was cute and had everything we needed. We will definitely come back!

I stayed in Cottage 4 to celebrate my birthday weekend and it was perfect. The location is amazing. A short walk to the rocky shoreline, a super short drive to downtown Elk Rapids and only 15 minutes from downtown Traverse City. The house was super clean, and the owners thought of every amenity. The shared space is very fun with a fire pit, and games. They hosts were very responsive and made us feel welcome all weekend. I highly recommend and can’t wait to book another trip back to Paradise Pines.

The cottage was lovely and completely updated. Have stayed at Airbnb in other locations and they don’t always have reserve of toilet paper, paper towel etc but this did and had lots of little extras I didn’t expect! Soap, shampoo, cotton balls and qtips! Hotel accommodations for sure with toiletries and a full stocked kitchen. Enjoyed ourselves very much and the common area was complete with a ready made fire every night and so close to downtown elk rapids and near TC, Alden and torch lake. Beach access at day park across the street was easy and more private then the public beach access downtown. Clean bathrooms there too and the sculptures were an added interest. We will be back. They are doing a fantastic job on the Renovations! Thanks for hosting us!

A great place to stay in Elk Rapids. You can walk or bike to town, beach and swimming across the street. We stayed in unit 4 and it was nicely remodeled and all the “little things” you need on a stay are in the unit. Great internet. The owners are on site and very responsive. They have remodeled the property and you see their care and hard work all around you. I would recommend Paradise Pines to anyone.

We were so impressed with the attention to detail on these renovated cottages! The community space was a great place to hang out in the evenings. Our cottage had everything we needed and was sparkling clean!

I highly recommend Paradise Pines Resort! It's close to the beach & downtown Elk Rapids. The cottage is just as cute in person as it looks online - very clean, comfortable, well appointed & quiet. Lisa & Carl are hospitable, responsive & they both went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.

Perfect quiet cottage court on grand traverse bay. Right across the street from the public day park. Slow low traffic 25mph street at the end of town. We rode our bikes everywhere we needed to go in elk rapids. The place is as described. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice quiet getaway.

I would recommend this place to anyone. Everything was fantastic. Look forward to returning for a stay S often as I can.
