We loved staying in the Black Bear Hollow cabin in Townsend, TN over the Holiday and my birthday. The cabin was amazing from the location, to the hot tub, to the cleanliness of it, all in the heart of the Smoky Mountains. I would highly recommend booking one of their lovely cabins. I had a wonderful time with my family and would stay there again on a returned visit to the mountains. 5 stars all around.....

Bear Ridge is one of our favorite cabins in Black Bear Hollow. For the last 9 years we have celebrated Thanksgiving & Christmas with family in Black Bear Hollow. The owners of all the cabins that we utilize provide 5+ stars hospitality and we are truly grateful for the excellent accommodations. Bear Ridge is also our choice for a winter getaway in late January.

I cannot put into words....We always want to come back, even before it's over. We have always enjoyed beyond our imagination ?? our stays HERE. Hopefully we can can come back ASAP!!! LOLOL WE LOVE IT HERE!! We are from WV, we live in the Monongahela National Forest, we love our HOME also, but......there is something Magical here that keeps us coming back FOR MORE!!

We love staying at Black Bear Hollow!! The cabins are perfect- quiet and peaceful and just close enough to all the activity of Pigeon Forge. Cabins are always clean. We haven’t had any problems at all. It’s nice to know we’ll have a nice place to stay after a 6 hour drive to get there.

Great location to everything, nice cabin, as advertised. Saw 3 bears at the cabin, so be vigilant. The names of these cabins are authentic, apparently. Will definitely try to go back again. Management seems great. Throw away the phones and light a fire and enjoy the peace.

This was our second stay in Black Bear Hollow Cabins! Loved the accommodations and being able to enjoy a campfire at night. If planning a trip to the Smoky Mountains, this is a great place to stay.

What a wonderful time we had! As we arrived to the cabin, we were immediately pleased with the overall seclusion, cleanliness, and location for our weekend getaway. Unfortunately, rain moved into the area our first night in town but we were able to enjoy a quiet and very relaxing time indoors. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and equipped. All the local people are friendly and extremely helpful. I am already looking forward to our next trip back to the area and will definitely be reserving another cabin here! 10 out of 10 Highly recommend!!

We loved staying in your Bear Ridge Cabin. We wanted out of the hustle and bustle of town but something easy to get to. Located perfect for us because we wanted to be fairly close to Cades Cove. The cabin was clean, well kept and well stocked. Will definitely stay here again!

A very serene and cozy setting that we loved! We got great use out of the amenities: fireplace, stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, wifi and cable, and hot tub.

We stayed in the Black Bear Ridge cabin. We enjoyed mornings and evenings sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch. The cabin was clean, decorated and well stocked. It was everything we wanted in a cabin. Very pleased and plan to return.

Cabin was great. Loved the hot tub on the deck. Owners are very personable and helpful. We had multiple self induced complications of booking last minute while en route (lets wing it!) , spotty cell phone service for receiving the email confirmation with gate code and cabin door code, and we were hauling a trailer with our motorcycle. In the mountains, it is more challenging to find a flat place to turn it around & park it. So I called multiple times and they answered promptly & cheerfully every time. They talked us through finding the correct road, where exactly to park the trailer, & he stayed on the line with us to give us the gate & door code because we didn't have cell service to receive our email. After many hours of travel, we were just so happy to enter a great cabin with all of the amenities. Sitting in the hot tub later that night was so relaxing that our long days of travel were soon a distant memory. For those of you that love the details like I do: There was a hair dryer provided. There was a small portable fan and multiple ceiling fans throughout the cabin & in the bedrooms. There were coffee filters & a couple of hotel style coffee packets in case you forgot to bring your own coffee. There was salt and pepper in the cupboard along with some other seasonings. There were three ice trays for making ice. They had all of the dishes and cookware you would need. The full size washer and dryer came in handy after getting caught in the rain without our rain gear on. The bed was very comfortable. There was a fire pit and outdoor hot tub. The cabin felt secluded since there is lush green vegetation surrounding it. I would stay here again.

We loved our stay at Black Ridge! The cabin was beautiful. So serene and peaceful!!! Only a short drive to get most places. We would love to stay here again!!!

My fiancé and another couple had a wonderful time! It was their first time in the smokies and our first time staying on the “quiet” side. We will only stay near Townsend and wears valley going forward. This trip just confirmed our desire to relocate to this region. We will book this cabin again for sure. This was our 2nd time staying at Black Bear Ridge cabin, and we thoroughly enjoyed it once again! The cabin was very clean and felt very much like home while we stayed there. Also, love how close this cabin is to the Cades Cove and Metcalf Bottoms entrances to the GSMNP, and to Townsend... the quiet side of the Smokies! Our stay was very peaceful and relaxing and I will stay here again in the future in a heartbeat!

This was our second time staying here and we live it more every year. Feels like home away from home. It’s clean and beautifully decorated. We come every year for my birthday and can’t wait for next year.

The cabin was lovely. It was exactly what we were looking for. Very secluded, we didn't see anyone else the 5 nights we were there. Very comfortable to return to after days of hiking in the mountains or sightseeing. Location was close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge. So you can do as much or as little as you want. We would definitely return and have recommended it to friends.

We have been staying at these cabins for about 5-6 years now. We use Townsend as our paradise away. We have stayed at three different cabins with Black Bear Hollow Cabins. All three have been perfect. I do believe Black Bear Ridge is my our favorite for us. The location of there cabins are perfect because we love going to Pigeon Forge and Townsend. So being on Wears Valley is the perfect location for us. The cabin had everything we needed and the setting is second to none. I just got back from 4 months in Iraq so for my wife and I it was a great way to get away. Thank you for our vacation get away!!!!!!

We stayed 3 nights at Bear Ridge Cabin in Black Bear Hollow Cabins. We were very close to Laurel Falls Trail and Cades Cove. This area was also close to so much more. This is a great spot and we will keep this in our return plans.

We loved staying at Bear Hollow Cabin! We had never rented a cabin in the Smoky Mountains before but chose Bear Hollow for it’s great location to Cades Cove. The cabin was spotless, beautifully decorated and so very comfortable. Loved having two bedrooms with two bathrooms as we were two couples. We would definitely come back. Best choice we ever made!

We loved our stay in the beautiful bear ridge cabin. Everything was well maintained and it was spotless clean! We loved the jacuzzi after hiking through the GSM. The barbecue was also perfect. We will stay here again if we come back to the GSM.

My cousin and I, both seniors stayed in Black Bear Ridge cabin. It is the 3rd time I have been with you and the 2 nd time in this particular cabin. It was clean and very comfortable. The weather did not cooperate so we did not get to enjoy the back deck, but I loved sitting on the cover front porch listening to the rain. Townsend is a lovely town with interesting shops and within easy driving distance to the best the Smokey Mountains have to offer. We were not interested in night time entertainments and were very content. The satellite TV, and comfortable accommodations wad just what we were looking for on our trip. The Wi-Fi was an added bonus. I hope to be able to return soon. 5 stars

We were very happy staying at this cabin. The location was very close to Cades Cove, which is our main focus when we stay in the Smoky's. The cabin had a fully furnished kitchen, two very nice full bath's with shower and tub. Hot tub was very relaxing. Beautiful view at the cabin to take a morning walk. We would definitely stay at this cabin again!!!

Absolutely loved staying here. It is situated in a perfect location between two wonderful cites, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We will be back, hopefully during the snow.

The Bear Ridge cabin is in a quiet, secluded area that is not too far off the beaten path. The cabin was clean and spacious. We had no problems with anything while we were there. The hot tub was fantastic. I would highly recommend this cabin.
