Terms and Conditions Mulberry Lavender Farm and B&B

1. The whole farm is a non-tobacco environment to keep the lavender safe from TMV (Tobacco Mosaic Virus). This means no smoking, smokeless tobacco, or vaping anywhere on the farm or in the buildings. If you are found to be in violation, you will be assessed a $200 fee.

2. Check-in time is 4:00 pm. We will be happy to check you in early if your room is available and if you have arranged so at least a day in advance. Check out time is 11:00 am.

3. We check you in personally, and therefore need to know your estimated time of arrival so we can be sure to welcome you and get you settled in, and know ahead of time if you will be arriving later. You can text us at the number provided in your confirmation email. You can park on the small parking lot and enter through the store, and we meet you there, and check you in.

4. Mulberry Lavender Farm and B&B accepts most credit and debit cards, check, cash, and crypto.

5. A wholesome farm breakfast is available to all our overnight guests. Breakfast will be served in the parlor around 8:00 am or agreed upon time (give or take a few minutes depending on cooking times). There will be canisters with filtered water, hot water for tea, and coffee in the parlor (ice upon request).

6. If you are staying in The Cottage, your breakfast will be delivered to your door. The Cottage has its own coffeemaker, water cooker, coffee, tea, and a small refrigerator. Outside is a small BBQ that can be used (BBQ Etiquette applies: bring your own charcoal, replace what you use of what is there, and clean up after) Be FIRE WISE!

7. In the Farmhouse there is one room downstairs and two rooms upstairs. No elevator. The parlor is downstairs, this is a shared room with all guests.
Any food brought into the farmhouse needs to be consumed in the parlor, using coasters and placemats to prevent rings on the wooden tabletop. This is to limit the chance of spills in the guestrooms and waste accumulating in the rooms.

8. The furnishings and decorations throughout the house and in your room are there for your enjoyment and part of your experience, they are authentic, but please handle with care. When traveling with small children please make sure that vulnerable items stay out of their reach. If something needs to be removed with that in mind, we gladly do so for you.

9. Upon checkout, please be sure to thoroughly check your room for items such as charging cords, clothing, and such prior to your departure. Mailing them to you will incur a shipping and handling fee.

10. We reserve the right to charge for any damage to or removal of items from the premises and/or unusual cleaning.

11. No real candles or open fire at any time. If the fireplace needs to be lit, we do that for you. Any candles in your room are battery operated.

12. All food and beverages served have been carefully selected for you and responsibly sourced with the greatest integrity. Please help us avoid any waste by letting us know before we prepare it for you, what you can or cannot eat/drink, or any special needs you may have. If you intend to leave before breakfast, please let us know in time (the night before) so we find out prior to your food being prepared.

13. You are staying on a working farm, with its normal inherent risks. There are free-roaming animals, they may approach you, but at no time should they be disturbed otherwise. The bee yard and hoop houses are off-limits.

14. You are welcome to walk around and enjoy the grounds, please be mindful of private areas. Most fences are hot (electrified), so be careful.

By making your reservation you agree to hold Mulberry Lavender Farm and everyone associated with it, harmless from any and all damages and any liability.

As we are a small independent business, cancellations affect us greatly.

Note: Please be sure to acquire trip insurance. Life gets in the way sometimes, and no matter the event; unexpected illness, death or weather related emergencies, we are not able to make an exception to this policy. Please be aware of Mulberry Lavender Farm and B&B's cancellation deadlines, and any policies you have surrounding your own personal travel, including airline tickets, before you make reservations. If you feel you will need flexibility to best fit your personal circumstances, we encourage you to purchase travel insurance when planning your trip.

Therefore, all cancellations are subject to a minimum $25 per booked room cancellation fee and are treated as follows:

In advance of 14 full days prior to arrival date - Refund of deposit, less the $25 cancellation fee.

Within two weeks from arrival – NO Refund

A 30-day cancellation applies to all holidays, and special events, including but not limited to the Jack Daniel BBQ Invitational.
30-day cancellation or more applies to all bookings of more than two rooms, or more than one night --- year round.
Within the 30-day cancellation – NO refund.

Once within the non-refundable time period, no refund will be issued. A room can be rescheduled within 45 days of the original check-in date – the re-booking fee is $100 per night.
Additional policies apply to group reservations of two or more rooms.
All cancellations must be provided to the innkeeper in writing. You will receive any refund due within 30 days.

Our rates are based on double occupancy and includes a wholesome farm breakfast, unless otherwise stated. We pay fair wages and charge a $50 cleaning fee per stay.

Payment Policy
All reservations require full payment in advance, unless otherwise arranged. Credit cards will be charged a $25 deposit upon booking, and the balance will be charged when the non-refundable period commences.
