Policies Check in: 4:00 pm - 11:00 pm. We try to be flexible, if arriving outside of check-in times, just give us a call to make arrangements. We will provide a pass code into the inn for very late arrivals. We try hard to accommodate your time restraints and provide a relaxing environment
Check out: 11:00 a.m. Late check out is available for an additional fee.
We love children! However, children OVER the age of 12 are welcome as we try to promote an atmosphere of peace and quiet for couples (especially those trying to escape from their little ones for a day or two!) In addition, with bone china and glass around, it's not a safe environment for small children.
We're a little business! Payment is required at reservation for bookings 3 nights or more. (e.g. 3 rooms for one night, or 1 room for 3 nights) If for any reason the credit card number you provided is declined, your reservation will be cancelled.
For the security of all, only Registered guests are permitted on property, unless prior arrangements have been made. Our front door is locked at all times.
No Smoking inside (includes vapor); however outdoor smoking areas are plentiful. Just ask and we're happy to provide an ashtray.
No candles or incense, it will set off the smoke alarms!
No Pets. Please call for help in making arrangements to board your pet locally. Timberlane Animal Hospital and Boarding is within walking distance.
Changes to reservations: Any requests for changes to a reservation (either for a different date or room) is at the sole discretion of management, and if granted, will incur a $25 per room charge. Changes requested within the cancellation period will incur a cancellation fee.
The Little English Guesthouse is not responsible for your valuables. We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party, your vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by us. By making this reservation, you agree to release and hold harmless the Little English Guesthouse, it's owners, agents and other guests for any liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any nature whatsoever whether in law or equity, known or unknown, occurring during, caused by, relating to, or arising in any way from your participation at the Little English Guesthouse.
Cancellation Policy The Little English Guesthouse values every guest reservation as important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least seven (7) days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation. We are a little inn and rely on advance reservations and cancellations are difficult to replace with only 3 rooms. We require advance payment for anything over a 3-night booking, which is non-refundable during Legislative Session.
On peak nights such as university sporting events, Graduation or Parents Weekend, we require a 60 (sixty) day notice.* Payment for peak nights must be made at the time of reservation and a partial refund can only be given if we are provided a 60 (sixty) day notice, AND we are able to re book the room. A $25/night cancellation fee will be charged.
In the unlikely event that you must cancel, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we are able to re book your room/s to a new guest, a full or partial refund may be made.
Regretfully, we cannot grant refunds for early departures, late arrivals or inclement weather, unless we are closed for business. As we have no control over weather, your family situations, guest illnesses, gas shortages, airline delays or flight cancellations etc. our cancellation policies apply equally under those circumstances. For this reason, we recommend purchasing trip insurance for your peace of mind. Travel insurance for a minimal fee is available at websites such as iTravelInsured and InsureMyTrip.
