- WE ASK YOUR CONSIDERATION OF OTHER GUESTS. WATCH THE VOLUME ON YOUR T.V., MUSIC, ETC. IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ANOTHER GUESTS NOISE, PLEASE NOTIFY US AT 507-235-9785 AND WE WILL TAKE CARE OF IT FOR YOU.
- IN CASE OF RAIN, PLEASE MAKE SURE WINDOWS ARE CLOSED.
- DO NOT CLEAN FISH IN THE CABINS
WHEN YOU ARE READY TO LEAVE:
- PLEASE EMPTY ALL GARBAGE. PLACE IT IN THE DUMPSTER.
- MAKE SURE YOUR REFRIGERATOR IS CLEANED OUT.
- MAKE SURE ALL DISHES ARE WASHED AND PUT AWAY. REMEMBER TO KEEP ALL DISHES FROM YOUR CABIN IN YOUR CABIN SO THAT THEY CAN BE ACCOUNTED FOR AT THE END OF YOUR STAY.
- MAKE SURE ALL WATER IS SHUT OFF.
PONTOON RENTAL AGREEMENT
This agreement outlines the terms between Fairmont Investment Group LLP, dba Hall Lake Cabins, and the undersigned for the purpose of renting a pontoon to be used on the lakes in Fairmont, MN. The boat and motor are property of Fairmont Investment Group LLP and to be used on the Fairmont Lakes with the following stipulations:
- THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PEOPLE ON THE BENNINGTON 2050Fsi IS 10 PEOPLE OR 1280 LBS. THE MAXIMUM FOR THE SUN TRACKER 20PB IS 10 PEOPLE OR 1350 LBS. THE MAXIMUM FOR THE SUNTRACKER 18PB IS 9 PEOPLE OR 1220 LBS.
- RENTER ASSUMES TOTAL RISK FOR ALL DAMAGE OR INJURY TO SELF, PASSENGERS, AND ALL OTHERS WHILE THE BOAT IS IN RENTERS POSSESSION. RENTER RELEASES THE INDEMNIFIES OWNER (FIG) FOR ALL LIABILITY, EXPENSES, FEES, AND COSTS INCURRED.
- RENTER ASSUMES TOTAL RESPONSIBILITY OF LOSS OR DAMAGE TO RENTAL UNIT. CREDIT CARD INFORMATION IS REQUIRED AS A DAMAGE DEPOSIT PRIOR TO RENTAL. ADDITIONAL CHARGES WILL BE ADDED TO THE RENTAL CHARGE IN THE EVENT OF ANY DAMAGE TO THE MOTOR OR BOAT.
- BY SIGNATURE, RENTER ACKNOWLEDGES TRAINING IN VESSEL OPERATION AND NAVIGATIONAL LIMITATIONS AND HAZARDS ON FAIRMONT LAKES. RENTER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT LIFE VESTS ARE PROVIDED FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL (UP TO 10 PEOPLE) AND WILL BE WORN IN ACCORDANCE TO MINNESOTA LAWS.
- PONTOON WILL BE PICKED UP AND RETURNED TO THE AGREED UPON DESIGNATED LOCATED.
- THE BOAT WILL BE RETURNED AT THE SCHEDULED TIME BELOW.
- THE PONTOON RENTAL FEE IS $195.00 FOR THE FIRST 2 HOURS + TAX & FUEL, THEN $35/HR FOR EACH ADDITIONAL HOUR.
- THE PONTOON IS TO BE USED ON FAIRMONT LAKES FOR RECREATIONAL USE ONLY.
- RENTERS ARE PROHIBITED VESSEL USE WHILE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS.
- FAIRMONT INVESTMENT GROUP LLP RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE RENTALS AT TIMES OF INCLEMENT WEATHER AND TO INDIVIDUALS AT FIG’S DISCRETION.
AQUA LILY PAD RENTAL AGREEMENT
This agreement outlines the terms between Fairmont Investment Group LLP, dba Hall Lake Cabins, and the undersigned for the purpose of renting the Aqua Lily Pad to be used at Hall Lake Cabins in Fairmont, MN. The Aqua Lily Pad is property of Fairmont Investment Group LLP and to be used at Hall Lake Cabins with the following stipulations:
- THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PEOPLE ON THE Aqua Lily Pad IS 12 PEOPLE OR 1600 LBS.
- RENTER ASSUMES TOTAL RISK FOR ALL DAMAGE OR INJURY TO SELF, PASSENGERS, AND ALL OTHERS WHILE THE AQUA LILY PAD IS IN RENTERS POSSESSION. RENTER RELEASES THE INDEMNIFIES OWNER (FIG) FOR ALL LIABILITY, EXPENSES, FEES, AND COSTS INCURRED.
- RENTER ASSUMES TOTAL RESPONSIBILITY OF LOSS OR DAMAGE TO RENTAL UNIT. CREDIT CARD INFORMATION IS REQUIRED AS A DAMAGE DEPOSIT PRIOR TO RENTAL. ADDITIONAL CHARGES WILL BE ADDED TO THE RENTAL CHARGE IN THE EVENT OF ANY DAMAGE TO THE AQUA LILY PAD.
- BY SIGNATURE, RENTER ACKNOWLEDGES TRAINING IN PAD OPERATION AND LIMITATIONS AND HAZARDS OF THE AQUA LILY PAD.
- AQUA LILY PAD WILL BE PICKED UP AND RETURNED TO THE AGREED UPON DESIGNATED LOCATED.
- THE AQUA LILY PAD WILL BE RETURNED AT THE SCHEDULED TIME BELOW.
- THE AQUA LILY PAD RENTAL FEE IS $75.00 PER DAY + TAX.
- THE AQUA LILY PAD IS TO BE USED AT HALL LAKE CABINS FOR RECREATIONAL USE ONLY.
- RENTERS ARE PROHIBITED AQUA LILY PAD USE WHILE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS.
- FAIRMONT INVESTMENT GROUP LLP RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE RENTALS AT TIMES OF INCLEMENT WEATHER AND TO INDIVIDUALS AT FIG’S DISCRETION.
JET SKI RENTAL AGREEMENT
This agreement outlines the terms between Fairmont Investment Group LLP, dba Hall Lake Cabins, and the undersigned for the purpose of renting a jet ski to be used on the lakes in Fairmont, MN. The jet skis are property of Fairmont Investment Group LLP and to be used on the Fairmont Lakes with the following stipulations:
- THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PEOPLE ON THE 2010 YAMAHA VX DELUXE WAVERUNNERS IS 3 PEOPLE OR A MAX OF 530 LBS .
- RENTER ASSUMES TOTAL RISK FOR ALL DAMAGE OR INJURY TO SELF, PASSENGERS, AND ALL OTHERS WHILE THE JET SKI IS IN RENTERS POSSESSION. RENTER RELEASES THE INDEMNIFIES OWNER (FIG) FOR ALL LIABILITY, EXPENSES, FEES, AND COSTS INCURRED.
- RENTER ASSUMES TOTAL RESPONSIBILITY OF LOSS OR DAMAGE TO RENTAL UNIT. CREDIT CARD INFORMATION IS REQUIRED AS A DAMAGE DEPOSIT PRIOR TO RENTAL. ADDITIONAL CHARGES WILL BE ADDED TO THE RENTAL CHARGE IN THE EVENT OF ANY DAMAGE TO THE JET SKI.
- BY SIGNATURE BELOW, RENTER ACKNOWLEDGES TRAINING IN VESSEL OPERATION AND NAVIGATIONAL LIMITATIONS AND HAZARDS ON FAIRMONT LAKES. RENTER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT LIFE VESTS ARE PROVIDED FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL (UP TO 3 PEOPLE) AND WILL BE WORN IN ACCORDANCE TO MINNESOTA LAWS.
- JET SKI WILL BE PICKED UP AND RETURNED TO THE AGREED UPON DESIGNATED LOCATED.
- THE JET SKI WILL BE RETURNED AT THE SCHEDULED TIME BELOW.
- THE JET SKI RENTAL FEE IS $75.00 FOR 1 HOUR, $150.00 FOR 2 HOURS, $225.00 FOR 3 HOURS, $300.00 FOR 4 HOURS OR $450.00 FOR FULL DAY + TAX & FUEL.
- THE JET SKI IS TO BE USED ON FAIRMONT LAKES FOR RECREATIONAL USE ONLY.
- RENTERS ARE PROHIBITED VESSEL USE WHILE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS.
- FAIRMONT INVESTMENT GROUP LLP RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE RENTALS AT TIMES OF INCLEMENT WEATHER AND TO INDIVIDUALS AT FIG’S DISCRETION.
Cancellation Policy & Liability Waiver Reservations are guaranteed with a credit card and 50% deposit or advance payment in full. We are only able to redeem Hall Lake Cabins gift certificates (sorry, no others accepted).
Cancellations: 14 day notice is required. If you cancel or reschedule your reservation 13 or fewer days prior to your reservation date, you are responsible for any cabin(s) we cannot re-rent at full rate. Cancellations made 13 or fewer days prior to your reservation date will result in forfeiting your deposit. Please phone cancellation requests; emails will NOT guarantee that your request was received.
Check-in time is 3pm. Please call to check if an early check in is available.
Check-out is 11am. Thank you for understanding we are not able to accommodate late departures, as we address maintenance and housekeeping between reservations.
LIABILITY WAIVER: RELEASE, INDEMNIFICATION AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT
In consideration of participating in campground activities, and for other good and valuable consideration, I hereby agree to
release and discharge from liability arising from negligence Fairmont Investment Group LLP, DBA Hall Lake Cabins and its owners, directors, officers
employees, agents, volunteers, participants, and all other persons or entities acting for them (hereinafter collectively
referred to as “Releasees”), on behalf of myself and my children, parents, heirs, assigns, personal representative and estate,
and also agree as follows:
1. I acknowledge that participating in campground activities involves known and unanticipated risks which could result
in physical or emotional injury, paralysis or permanent disability, death, and property damage. Risks include, but
are not limited to, broken bones, torn ligaments or other injuries as a result of falls; burns from campfires;
drowning in pools or other bodies of water; falls from play equipment or caused by uneven surfaces; medical
conditions resulting from physical activity; and damaged clothing or other property. I understand such risks simply
cannot be eliminated, despite the use of safety equipment, without jeopardizing the essential qualities of the activity.
2. I expressly accept and assume all of the risks inherent in this activity or that might have been caused by the
negligence of the Releasees. My participation in this activity is purely voluntary and I elect to participate despite the
risks. In addition, if at any time I believe that event conditions are unsafe or that I am unable to participate due to
physical or medical conditions, then I will immediately discontinue participation.
3. I hereby voluntarily release, forever discharge, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Releasees from any and all
claims, demands, or causes of action which are in any way connected with my participation in this activity, or my use
of their equipment or facilities, arising from negligence. This release does not apply to claims arising from
intentional conduct. Should Releasees or anyone acting on their behalf be required to incur attorney’s fees and costs
to enforce this agreement, I agree to indemnify and hold them harmless for all such fees and costs.
4. I represent that I have adequate insurance to cover any injury or damage I may suffer or cause while participating in
this activity, or else I agree to bear the costs of such injury or damage myself. I further represent that I have no
medical or physical condition which could interfere with my safety in this activity, or else I am willing to assume –
and bear the costs of – all risks that may be created, directly or indirectly, by any such condition.
5. In the event that I file a lawsuit, I agree to do so solely in the state where Releasees’ facility is located, and I further
agree that the substantive law of that state shall apply.
6. I agree that if any portion of this agreement is found to be void or unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain
in full force and effect.
By signing this document, I agree that if I am hurt or my property is damaged during my participation in this
activity, then I may be found by a court of law to have waived my right to maintain a lawsuit against the parties
being released on the basis of any claim for negligence.
I have had sufficient time to read this entire document and, should I choose to do so, consult with legal counsel prior to
signing. Also, I understand that this activity might not be made available to me or that the cost to engage in this activity
would be significantly greater if I were to choose not to sign this release, and agree that the opportunity to participate at the
stated cost in return for the execution of this release is a reasonable bargain. I have read and understood this document
and I agree to be bound by its terms.
DISCLAIMER:
These cabins were built in the 1950's. If you are looking for a Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, condo on Lake Okoboji, or a condo on Lake Minnetonka, these lake cabins may not be for you. However, our guests have loved the character and features these lake cabins offer and the nice updates we have completed over the last few years as they have written in our guest books inside each unit.
All cabins have been updated inside and out, but they are by no means perfect. Some of the cabins have a minor slope to the floor. They do not slope any more than they did 20 years ago, but all the same, some floors are not perfectly flat. You may occasionally have a friendly spider, mosquito, or house fly in the cabin as these are lake cabins covered by trees. We do treat monthly for insects.
There is direct lake access from these cabins. The cabins are built on a lake bank, so you will need to go down stairs to get to the lake, 64 steps to be exact. This is a great leg workout and excellent cardio to burn off those "extra vacation calories" during your stay with us. There are steps on both the north and south end of the property. The steps on the south lead down to about 200ft of dock for swimming, fishing, pontoon rentals, or just relaxing with your book & enjoying the sunse |
