Cayo Espanto's Schedule of Refunds for Cancellations:
* All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
* A refund, less 20% of the Total Reservation Amount, will be given if a reservation is canceled more than 120 days prior to the reservation date.
* NO refunds are given if a reservation is canceled less than 120 days prior to the reservation date.
* This policy is indisputable regardless of the reason for the cancellation. Cayo Espanto strongly suggests buying adequate travel insurance. Clients should make sure this insurance covers delayed/canceled travel services, weather, health, family and personal related cancellations.
* If your final payment becomes 30 days past due, we will release the space for resale. There will be no refund of monies previously paid.

Cayo Espanto is a small and intimate resort with only seven villas and as such our cancellation policy is very specific. Please review Carefully! Refunds for cancellations will ONLY be provided according to the schedule below. Cayo Espanto will NOT provide refunds for ANY reason other than according to the schedule below. Cayo Espanto, like many Island Resorts, is in a tropical region and is subject to tropical storms and even hurricanes, which can affect the arrival and departure of guests. In addition, the heightened potential of international terrorism, unfortunately, is a reality today. We STRONGLY urge ALL guests to purchase adequate Travel Insurance to cover cancellations. We suggest you discuss this with your Travel Professional or we will be happy to provide you with insurance information.
Luxury Package Includes: Personal butler (we refer to our butlers as "Housemen"), 3 tailored meals per day; guests favorite snacks; rack bar drinks, beer, sodas, fruit juice, bottled water (drinks exclude wine, dessert wine, champagne and cordials); San Pedro Airport Greeting; Cayo Espanto offers a scheduled, daytime, boat service with launch to/from San Pedro daily and non-motorized activities (this includes the use of sea kayaks, standing paddle boards, and sail boat).

Note: Cayo Espanto is on the lagoon side of Ambergris Caye. The water level tends to be shallow therefore is not ideal for snorkeling, scuba diving or swimming directly off of the island, however the water level is perfect for wadding, bone fishing and exploring in our sea kayaks and sail boat.
