House Rules:
We would like for your stay at Casa Sol to be pleasurable. Because of this, we are available to clear any doubt or necessity that you may have. Just like any B&B, our house is a private home and since we value your privacy just as our own, we thank you for complying with the following rules for common benefit.
• Check-in/Check-out
Your room will be available after 2:00pm. Check-out time is by 11:00am. If you wish to stay in the Old San Juan area for a longer amount of time, arrangements can be made for luggage storage with previous agreement.
• Room Keys
If the room key is lost we have a $35.00 charge for lock replacement.
• At our guests’ disposal:
Casa Sol counts with a spacious interior patio, available for breakfast, reading, or conversation during established times: between 7:00am and 8:00pm. The kitchen area is also available (No cooking is allowed), please clean up after use; food is not permitted in the rooms.
• Breakfast and office hours:
Breakfast for our guests will be served between 8:30am and 9:30am. Please let us know the night before when you would like to eat breakfast.
• We will be available for our guests during breakfast time and between 3:00pm and 6:00pm. We have a list of restaurants available for your evaluation. We can also coordinate any reservation for dinner in the local restaurants.
• Tranquility / Rest Hours:
We kindly ask you to avoid noise between 8pm and 7am, please respect each other’s well deserved sleep and try to be quiet should you come in at a late hour.
• Room cleaning, bath towels, and bed linen:
Saving water helps reduce the effects of global warming and acidic rain. It is part of our policy to care for this resource, because of which we have established the following cleaning and washing practices, which may be adjusted upon request: Rooms will be cleaned upon request and will be attended to between 10:00am and 12:00pm. Towels will be changed every two days and bed sheets will be replaced every three days or at check-out. If you wish to change your towels or bed sheets more frequently, it will be gladly done. If you need additional towels or bed sheets, just let us know and they’ll be available. If you plan to visit one of our beautiful beaches let us know as we have beach towels available.
• Smoking/Alcohol:
Our house is a smoke-free area. By law, it is not permitted to smoke indoors. If you wish to do it, please do it outside of Casa Sol. Alcohol consumption is not permitted in the premises of Casa Sol.
• Access and visits:
You may enter and leave the house freely. Access will be exclusive for guests, no external Guest allowed, if you wish to have a guest visit please inform us in advance.
• Damages to property:
Rooms must be preserved in the same condition as they were found in at Check-in. Please do not move the furniture. Accidents are always possible, but they must be paid for.
• Pets:
We love pets as we have a dog our own called “Oreo: she is a terrier, but not knowing how she will react to another pet and for the tranquility of our guest we do not allow pets. Thanks for understanding.
• Liability for personal belongings and items of value:
We accept no responsibility for ant loss, accident, personal injury, medical expense or property damage caused by personal negligence or by any other circumstances beyond our control.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy
Every reservation we receive is important and special to us. We take great care in preparing for your arrival – from room preparation to creating a breakfast menu suited to your dietary needs. We sincerely appreciate each reservation we receive! It means we’ve committed to have your room ready and available upon your arrival.
30-day cancellation policy
While we understand that life isn’t always predictable and that plans change, we do request that you contact us no less than 30 days prior to your check-in date to let us know of your changes. Before that time, you will be charged a $60 cancellation fee per room. If you need to cancel within 30 days, you will be charged the full value of one night stay per room reservation. If we are successful in rebooking your reserved dates, we will provide a refund subject to a $60 cancellation fee. There are no refunds for early departures.
