General Info ● Park hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. ● Printable versions of the City of Milaca Rental Policies can be found online at cityofmilaca.org/policy
City Manager approval is required for: ● Outdoor events where expected number of people is over 100 (Special Event Permit Application will need to be submitted for City Council approval at least 45 days before event.) ● Any type of inflatable structure, i.e. bounce houses or slides

Rental Agreement & Cancellation Policy RENTAL AGREEMENT ● The credit card used to make the reservation will be charged to replace or repair any damage to the rental structure or to City of Milaca property contained within. This includes cleaning and trash disposal. Damages could lead to losing facility use privileges. The decision is solely up to the City Manager. ● Reservations made more than a calendar year in advance may be subject to a rental rate increase. Should this occur, renter will be notified of the increase and given the option to pay the difference in rental rate, or cancel reservation with full refund, minus any Square payment surcharges. ● Event organizers are responsible for cleaning and disposing of garbage into the garbage containers after the event. ● No decorations or temporary fixtures may be affixed to the building or any architectural feature (including tables) with nails, tacks, staples, or any application that will cause irreversible damage. Use ONLY masking tape when hanging decorations. ● If using tablecloths on outdoor tables, we strongly encourage use of the slide-on clips. Please do NOT use staples, tape, or tacks as they can cause damage. ● Alcoholic beverages are allowed in city park shelters IF INDICATED on the reservation request. ● Park hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. ● If police need to be contacted, please call (320) 983-6166 OR (320) 983-8257. ● For after-hour assistance with the shelter, please call Public Works at (320) 492-8248. ● I hereby agree to the above listed information and agree to abide by all rules and regulations of city ordinance. I further agree to release and discharge the City of Milaca, its agents, officers, employees, volunteers, and insurers from all claims, demands, actions, judgments and executions. This release includes all claims that I, or the group reserving and using the shelter, may have against the City of Milaca for all personal injuries, death, or property damage that may arise out of the reservation and use of the City of Milaca’s shelters and parks.

CANCELLATION POLICY ● Reservation payment and associated fees are non-refundable.* However, the City of Milaca reserves the right to cancel usage of the facility if, at the sole discretion of the City, through the office of the City Manager, the facility is needed for municipal purposes or in the event of a natural or man-made disaster. The City, upon cancellation, will return all payments and fees. *Gorecki Center & Rec Park Bandshell have a cancellation policy of at least 60 days prior to the reservation for a $25 fee. Refund does not include the Square payment surcharges. ● Cancellations made within the 60 day window are non-refundable. ● No refunds are given due to inclement weather. ● Back-up facilities for outdoor rentals are not provided
