Rental Information

Rental rates are based on a Vacation Home Rental's standard occupancy. When the number of guests exceed standard occupancy, a fee per additional person will be applied. Children greater than two years of age are considered regular occupants. Children less than two years of age are considered infants, and are free of charge. A limited number of pack & plays, high chairs, and other infant gear are available to rent. Rates and fees are subject to change with or without notice.

PEAK SEASON rentals, will be able to check in on Saturday, after 3:00PM. The following Saturday, check out is by 9:00AM, no exceptions. A surcharge will be applied to the credit card on file, in 15 minutes increments, after 9:00AM. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Non-peak season rentals, minimum of two or more days, may have flexible arrival days and times. Check within 3 days or arrival/departure for advance approval. Early check in without prior approval will not be admitted, we apologize for any inconvenience. Daily rentals are unavailable and subject to a 2-day minimum charge.

Check-in begin at 3:00PM. Office check-ins: from 3:00PM to 5:30PM include key pick up, settle remaining balances, provide credit card for incidentals.
Check-out is by 9:00AM, the morning of departure. Office check-outs: Fridays 10:00AM to 3:30PM, remember to re-book, locking in your week and rate! Please call, 715-479-8477, within 3 days prior to your arrival or departure for different arrangements.


What Maplewood Resort provides:

Beds, pillows, and bed linens; including protectors, pillow cases, fitted sheets, flat sheets, blankets, and comforters. Bathroom floor mats and kitchen hand towels are also provided.
Coffee filters, dish soap, soft soap, and a starter supply of toilet tissue and garbage bags are supplied.
All kitchens have full size stove and refrigerator, microwave, dishes, pots and pans, and utensils.
Pier space to dock your boat is provided. For those bringing more than one boat- we will do our best to accommodate additional boats but it may have to be further from your cabin.
Weber grills, picnic tables, lawn furniture, firewood, boat cushions, and life jackets are furnished at no charge.
Canoes, kayaks, paddle boat, and bicycles are provided free of charge to resort guests.
Additional rental items include outboard motors, fishing boats, pontoon boat, personal watercraft.

Daily maid service is not provided. A vacuum cleaner, broom, dust pan, cleanser, and dish soap are provided for tidying up throughout your stay. You are expected to leave the home reasonable clean. Prior to departure please: Place all accumulated trash and recycling outside in the Rubbermaid bins. Wash, dry, and put away all dishes. Empty refrigerator and cabinets of open/leftover food. Sweep kitchen floor. Check that you have not left any personal items behind.

Resort Rules

Small pets are allowed in Driftwood, Cedarwood, and Barnwood in the off season with prior approval. With prior approval guests staying at the Sand Lake Home may bring pets at all times. We ask that owners clean up all pet waste. Please do not leave your pets alone in the cabins for extended periods of time. For the comfort of future guests, please do not allow your pets on or in the beds. If pets are allowed on furniture we ask that you cover them with old sheets which we will provide, pet hair is difficult to remove from furniture and bedding. Owners are responsible for any damages and extra cleaning charges caused by their pets.

Smoking- Is permitted outside only. Please properly dispose of cigarette butts. smoking is prohibited in all lodging by state law and a fine of $ 250 will be charged to your account for any smoking in the unit so that we may properly clean the room for the next guest.

Fireworks of all types are strictly prohibited! This includes sparklers.

There is no life guard on duty. Swim at your our risk. Children under 8 must be supervised by an adult while at the beach. No smoking or glass on the beach please. No boats allowed in the swim area between the two large piers and the swim raft.

In order to maintain a peaceful resort, quiet time is from 11:00 pm to 8:00 am. At all times, guests shall conduct themselves in a manner that does not create excessive noise, or disturb and annoy others.

Day Guests: You are welcome to have guests visit during the week. Please limit day guests to one day during your stay. Visiting guest hours are limited to 8:00 am to 10:00 pm.

A speed limit of 10 miles per hour shall be obeyed on all roads within the resort.

Resort beach and amenities are only available to guests renting on the resort property. Please see private home descriptions for what is provided at that home.

*PAYMENTS – Our payment policy is intended to be fair to our guests and protect our home owners and managers from loss of revenue. Once a home is reserved, all other requests for that vacation rental are refused. Payment deadlines are in Maplewood Resort property’s time zone. If you're booking within thirty (30) days of arrival 100% is do at time of booking.
• deposit requires 50% of amount due for reservation.
• upon arrival 100% of amount due for reservation is required.
• an incidentals tab, on file with a valid credit card, may be settled before departure.

*CANCELLATIONS – Our cancellation policy is intended to be fair to our guests and protect our home owners and managers from loss of revenue. Once a home is reserved, all other requests for that vacation rental are refused. Cancellation deadlines are by 11:59pm in Maplewood Resort property’s time zone and will be charged $100 for processing.
• more than thirty (30) days from reservation’s check-in, refund of payments after processing.
• less than thirty (30) days from reservation’s check-in, refund is unavailable.
In the event Maplewood Resort must cancel a reservation, the full deposit amount will be refunded. Monies can be refunded to credit cards within ninety (90) days of booking date. All other monies will be refunded via check from Maplewood Resort.

By placing a reservation and/or occupying the home you are accepting the requirements above. The registered party will be held responsible for all occupying the house during this reservation. We thank you in advance for complying with our policies!

*ARRIVAL - Check-In at the Rental Unit is 3:00PM. Check-In at the Office is from 3:00-6:30PM; unless otherwise approved, 48 hours prior to arrival. Payment is due before or upon arrival. Rental Unit's with a balance will remain locked until balance is settled.

*DEPARTURE - Check-Out is by 8:30AM on day of departure. Re-booking, to ensure your next reservation, prior to departure is required. Late check-out must be approved 48 hours prior to arrival.
