Deposit Policy: All rentals require a deposit of 50% of the non-tax portion of your rental(s). If a credit/debit card is used for deposit, a card processing fee of 3% will be added to your bill. If you prefer to avoid the 3% fee, you can mail us a check. Please let us know you want to mail a check in the "notes/special requests" line on the reservation form. We will email you our address to mail your deposit check to.

Cancellation Policy: If you cancel your reservation prior to January 1 we will refund your deposit less a $100 cancellation fee(per unit reserved). After January 1 deposits will not be refunded.

No-Show Policy: No shows will be charged 100% of the amount for the entire time the accommodations and or equipment was reserved.

Check In: Cabins-Saturday 2 PM or later

Check Out: Please plan to check out of cabins by 8 am the day of your departure if departing on a Saturday during peak season. If you are departing during a non peak season or non Saturday please be prepared to check out of cabins by 9 am.

Early Check-ins: Please respect our check-in time and arrange to arrive after 2 pm.

Towels: We do not provide towels. Please bring beach towels, bathing towels and kitchen towels.

Linens: Linens are provided.

Minimum age to book accommodations or equipment is 18.

Late Check-Out: Late checkouts may be available upon request for an additional fee.

Docking Policy: Personal watercraft may be docked for $15 per day or $75 per week.

Pets: Birch Forest Lodge is a pet free resort. Please no pets on the resort property. We do manage one vacation rental property-The Lake House, it is pet-friendly. Pets staying at the Lake House are not allowed on the main resort property.

Smoking is not allowed in cabins.

Deposits are refundable less a $100 cancellation fee if reservation is cancelled prior to January 1 of your arrival year. If reservation is cancelled after January 1 then deposit is non-refundable.
