Rental Agreement Reservations, Payment and Cancellations
A one night deposit (non-refundable) is due at the time of booking.
Your credit card will be charged within 48 hours after reservations are made. If your credit card is not accepted (invalid number/insufficient funds), your reservation will be cancelled. We will attempt to contact you prior to cancellation of your reservation.
Smoking
The inn, as all inns in Panama is Smoke Free. This is a strong policy for us, as are its consequences, and we ask for your cooperation in keeping it. If you wish to smoke, you may do so to the west of the parking lot. Please ask at reception if unsure of this location. A $200 cleaning fee will be charged to your credit card for violation of this policy. In addition, reservations for guests who smoke in non-smoking areas may be cancelled without a refund.
Other Charges: We reserve the right to charge guests for repair or replacement of damaged or lost/stolen property.
Additional Persons in Rooms:
In single rooms (called so because of the single Queen bed), with a normal maximum occupancy of 2, we can bring in an additional fold out bed for a 3rd person. Fees for this service and breakfast for the additional person are reflected in the rates at booking.
Liability: By booking a reservation, you agree to hold harmless Coffee Mountain Inn, owners, staff and other guests for any injury or damage û to persons or things û incurred on premises or as a result of your stay here. Resolution of disputes will be handled by independent arbitration and follow the laws of the Republic of Panama.
Cancellation Policy A non-refundable deposit, equivalent to the first night's fee will be charged within 24 hours of making the reservation.
Cancellations and refunds are handled in the following manner if you have booked through this site:
Cancellations received in writing (e-mail, confirmed by us) with 7 days advanced notice
No additional charge
Cancellations with 48 hours advanced notice:
50% fee of remaining balance will be charged
Cancellations within 48 hours of check-in or no-shows:
100% of remaining balance will be charged
Sorry, no credit or refunds for unused room nights or services will be given. This includes the case of a late arrival or early departure or cancellation due to inclement weather, loss of power, civil unrest, or road conditions. Purchasing of travel insurance, such as Travel Guard, can be surprisingly affordable, and help minimize these risks.
In the event that Coffee Mountain Inn must cancel your reservation for events beyond our control, we will refund payments received, and this is the extent of our liability. We are not responsible for any incidental costs or damages, including travel expenses, alternative lodging, or other expenses.
