Cancellation Policy & House Policies The Garver House recognizes unforeseeable events sometimes arise that require our guests to reschedule or cancel reservations. We do everything we can to accommodate those requests; without imposing unacceptable financial strains on our business. Therefore, the following policies on rescheduling and canceling reservations are observed:
$50.00 deposit is required at time of booking: or Visa, MC, Discover and/or Diners Club are accepted to hold room (credit card will not be charged until check-in). Cash and/or checks accepted for deposit ( checks must be received two weeks prior to check-in date).
Requests to reschedule or cancel reservations at least 10 days in advance of scheduled arrival date are accepted without penalty. Cancellation with less than 10 days notice must be made by talking to innkeeper, our telephone number is 330-878-4113.
Cancellation 72 hours or less of arrival date will be charged a $50.00 cancellation fee per night night if room cannot be re-booked. As much as we enjoy hosting guests, our bed and breakfast is our livelihood not a hobby.
Cancellations the same day as scheduled arrival date, "no shows", and early departures (IE- book for 3 days stay only 2 days) are charged the full amount of original reservation.
We are not responsible for inclement weather.
No pets permitted on premises
No Smoking (local ordinance prohibits smoking on premises)
No candles allowed in guest rooms due to fire/safety issues (we have battery operated candles for your enjoyment).
Check-in: 4-7 p.m. unless other arrangements are made with Innkeepers
Check-out: 10:30 a.m.
Coffee available at 7:30 a.m. for early risers
Breakfast served at 8:30 a.m.
Babies and young children may disturb other guests who are sleeping in adjacent rooms. Therefore, even though we love them ( we raised four ourselves) children under 12 years old should stay home with Grandma and Grandpa.
