Cottages of Mentone, LLC Policies & Information

It is our wish that your stay is safe, enjoyable, and memorable. To help us provide you with the best possible service, please review the following rental agreement and cancellation policy. Please understand our need to abide by them. Call or email us anytime with any questions you may have about these policies. The owner will contact the renter with all instructions and directions to the property once the reservation is confirmed.

CHECK IN time is between 4:00-6:00 pm. Please notify us in advance, prior to your day of arrival, if you anticipate a later arrival, or if you would like an earlier arrival. Early arrival times will be accommodated when possible, and only with a minimum three-day advance notice.

CHECK OUT is by 11:00 am.

Cancellation/No-Shows: Due to our size and the personal attention we offer our guests, cancellations are best to be avoided. Your advance payment is your commitment to us that you are reserving your room and our commitment to you that your room will be ready for your arrival. A request to change the date/move a reservation is considered a cancellation request because we are potentially losing the ability to re-book that room and all policies will apply.

Reservations are NON-REFUNDABLE. The renter must contact the owner by phone or email to initiate a cancellation by this policy.

Gift Certificates: If a gift certificate is used for your stay, the value of the certificate will be retained to cover the cost of the reservation. The guest will be required to pay any balance due if gift certificate does not cover the full rental balance.

Early Departure: If for any reason the guest(s) decide to leave early, the unused reserved nights will not be refunded.

Smoke-Free Facility: Cottage of Mentone, LLC is proud to offer a smoke-free environment. Smoking is not permitted inside any of the properties, common areas, nor anywhere on our grounds where it may impact other guests or pose a fire hazard. We will assess a $500 fee to you for any violations of our no smoking policy and we reserve the right to ask you to leave the premises immediately. If the room is damaged or requires an excessive amount of cleaning; an additional cleaning fee will be assessed to your credit card at a minimum hourly rate of $100/hour and any damages will be assessed the value of repair or replacement. Our non-smoking policy includes all types of tobacco, as well as e-cigarettes, etc.

Candles: For the safety and security of all of our guests, we are unable to allow the use of open flames such as candles, etc.

Parking: We offer convenient parking at all of our properties for registered guests only.

Children: Children are not allowed at any of the properties to the ensure safety of all parties.

Pets: We are the ultimate animal lovers but for the safety, comfort, and convenience of all of our guests, we regret that we do not allow guests to bring their pets to any Cottage of Mentone, LLC property.

Exclusivity: The reserved property use are for registered guests of Cottages of Mentone, LLC only. For the comfort, convenience, respect of privacy, and to ensure a quiet, quality stay for all of our guests, we ask that you do not bring in guests, friends, or family that you are visiting in the area.
