Rates are subject to 9% Maine Lodging Tax and include double occupancy with a full breakfast.

Check-in: Between 3:00pm and 6:00pm. Please call or email us to confirm exceptions for early and late arrivals as we may not be available.

We happily host guests for area weddings and events. For group reservations of three rooms or more, the balance is due 14 days prior to the reservation. We do not rent out our entire home (all six rooms) for group events.

Children Twelve and Over only unless pre-approved by us ahead of time. We offer a quiet peaceful retreat for all of our guests that must be respected at all times. We have been honored to host many wonderful kids here. However, we do ask all parents to thoughtfully evaluate their children's personal supervisory needs before considering this inn. It is not child-proofed for their safety and there are many fragile collections and antiques throughout the inn. Due to fire code occupancy rules, only the Cottage Rose Suite allows an additional person.

The entire Inn and perimeter grounds are non-smoking of any kind (including e-cigs) in ordinance with Maine State law. Smoking is permitted only in outside areas 25 feet from any building per Maine State law, a $500 charge will be charged to your card on file for smoking of any kind in our rooms or on porches. For the safety of all guests, no burning candles or incense are allowed. Guests agree to be responsible for damages to room, furniture, bedding and linens during their stay.

Please notify us of any dietary requests ahead of time. Our Family Style breakfast is served depending upon general consensus between 8 to 10.

Our 1880s circular driveway offers limited parking to accommodate our six rooms. If you plan to drive more than one vehicle, please notify us ahead of time.

Only Registered Guests are allowed in our home unless prior permission has been obtained.

COVID-19
Effective May 1, Maine’s COVID-19 travel policy requirements will shift from an “all states included, unless exempt” model to an “all states exempt, unless included” model. This means that travelers from all states are automatically exempt unless otherwise determined by the Maine CDC. Those who have either been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or recently had COVID-19, regardless of their state of origin, are exempt from the test or quarantine requirement.

Per the State of Maine, face coverings are mandatory whenever outside of your room in our common areas or porch (except when eating). We both have been vaccinated and wear masks as well. Face coverings are required in all stores in town, so please bring yours with you. We request that you follow proper 6-foot social distancing between you and any others that you might encounter in our lodging areas.

In order to support optimum social distancing and best practices protection, all guests will have the option of Self Check-in and Self Check-out. We will provide you the front door security door code and directions to your room along with other pertinent info. We will encourage communication via phone calls vs personal contact. At this time, we are not allowed to enter rooms to for daily housekeeping; we will replace towels, replenish requested supplies, or empty trash set outside your door.

Breakfast can be enjoyed in the privacy of your room or outside on our front porch at individual tables.

The CDC recommends maximum ventilation, so please keep your windows open as much as possible and your room door closed. We are surrounded by ocean on three sides 500 yards away, so there are wonderful ocean breezes vs air-conditioning.

We require a one night's stay or 50% deposit (whichever is larger) to confirm each individual room reservation. A credit card will be required upon Arrival at Check-In if a balance is due. Late Arrivals will be charged the balance due that day by 6 PM.

Covid-19 Cancellations: During these difficult times, if you decide to cancel, we will be issuing a Credit Voucher for a future stay in the amount of your deposit for any cancellations that fall within our normal 14 day notice cancellation policy. We also reserve the right to turn away symptomatic guests upon arrival.

We are just a small B&B, so cancellations affect us dramatically. When we guarantee an accommodation we enter into a contract and lose the opportunity to reserve the room for others who wish to stay with us. Notice given 14 days (or more) prior to a room reservation will receive a full refund less a $25.00 credit card handling fee for each room cancelled. Cancellations or changes within the 14-day period will incur a loss of deposit. Last minute cancellations or changes (within 5 days of the reservation) will be responsible for the entire reserved stay. We will try our best to rerent and will prorate refunds accordingly. Regretfully, we can not grant refunds for early departures or late arrivals. As we have no control over weather (during winter we will try to accommodate rescheduling within a reasonable time frame), extended family situations, guest illnesses, airline delays or flight cancellations, etc., our cancellation policies apply equally under all circumstances..
