Terms and Conditions (the not-so-fun, but necessary stuff)

By completing your reservation, you agreed to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions:


General Conditions - You must be 25 to rent or drive a vehicle. You will be provided with a full tank of fuel and it must be returned to us with a full tank. You agree to pay the cost of any fuel shortage @ $10/gallon, for every gallon below FULL tank @ return. You agree to pay any tickets written on your vehicle during your rental. Smoking is illegal in a rental vehicle in Puerto Rico. You agree to pay a $250 cleaning fee if you or someone in your party smokes in the vehicle.

Golf Carts – No children 9 or under permitted on the golf carts. Also, because your credit card likely does not insure/cover golf carts, you are required to pay a $500 deposit at check in.  We refund this deposit upon (undamaged) return of the cart.  Please note – 4 person golf cart has weight limit of 550 pounds. 

Cancellation/Change Policy - You agree to pay for one rental day if you cancel your reservation less than 48 hours before it is to begin. You agree to pay for the entire rental if you do not arrive for your rental and you provided no advance notice. Changes to your reservation are not permitted within 24 hours of the beginning of your rental period. This includes but is not limited to moving your rental back from its original start date, returning the vehicle early, changing your arrival time or your return time. There are no discounts or reductions for any changes made within the 24 hour period.

Office Hours -  Our hours are 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. If you arrive too late to get your vehicle, you can pick it up as early as 9am the following morning. This does not reduce your rental charge. Our rental day begins at 1 pm and ends at noon.

Returning the vehicle late – is really not an option, as we typically have other customers renting for the next rental day (starting at 1pm).  Any late return exceptions are dependent upon vehicle availability, and incur additional fees ($15/hr up to 2 hours)...this must be requested and agreed upon in advance, and we make no promises that we can make an exception.

Debit Cards - If you intend to pay for any rental with a debit card, know that even those cards displaying the Visa/Mastercard logo do not provide insurance. Therefore, you will be required to pay a deposit of $500 at check in.  We optionally offer Loss Damage Waiver insurance coverage at $15 per day, also noted below.

Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) - We offer LDW at a cost of $15 per day. If you accept the LDW, you will not be held responsible for any damage or loss of rent income exceeding the $1000 deductible.

Damage - You agree to pay for any damage done to the vehicle regardless of fault. This includes but is not limited to damaged/flat tires, keys and key fobs and loss of rental income. You also agree to pay any towing charges resulting from damage to the vehicle or getting it stuck.

Traffic Fines and/or Tickets – If you receive a traffic or parking ticket while renting a vehicle, you must present that ticket prior to check-out, and you must pay your fine fully.  If we discover unpaid tickets, we will charge your card for unpaid fines, plus late fees, plus a $100 administrative fee for our lost time and effort to resolve the matter.

Problems - You agree to report any problems with the vehicle immediately. No discounts will be given due to problems with the vehicle that were not reported.
