A little bit of EVERYTHING
We loved the Inn at Civano. Our one week was perfect for us: Thanksgiving 1/2 mile away with our son and family and an escape for all of us when we needed it. Our room was the Dakota, a good size for the two of us. We also used the laundry across the hall. Breakfast was do-it-yourself with juice, coffee, yogurt/oatmeal and coffee cake or English muffins. A great part of the inn experience is the hosts and we were fortunate to have Mare and Maureen. We asked Maureen for a church suggestion and found a welcoming congregation full of snow birds from the upper Midwest. She must have known we were Swedes! We'll be back and thanks.

Tucson Treasure
I have nothing but positives for my January stay in the Southwest Casita. The casita itself was spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Mare and Maureen were phenomenal hosts. Civano is a safe and friendly community with a great location. There was lots to do with easy access to shopping, hiking, sightseeing, etc. I hope to stay here again! Room Tip: I loved the privacy and spaciousness of the Southwest Casita.

Relaxing and lovely home away from home”
I stayed in the Pima room at the Inn for a week. The Pima room is small, as it appears in the photos. However, you have no reason to spend time in your room other than to sleep anyway because the Inn belongs to the guests. There's a lovely large shaded patio with chairs, lounge chair, grill, large eating table. What a lovely place to relax in the peaceful atmosphere. On the main level there is a kitchen which guests can use as well as a beautiful dining room and living room with comfy chairs and TV and movies. Guests receive a pass for the community pool, which I used twice. The quiet community is also a nice place to take an early morning or evening stroll. Mare and Maureen were very helpful and friendly. They provide a few items for a self-serve breakfast: oj, english muffins, yogurt, granola, peanut butter, bananas, oranges....that kind of thing. I was not expecting a true 'B&B' so I was not disappointed. The price was great and all the other benefits of the inn far exceeded not having a full breakfast served to me. I used the kitchen to make my lunches and some dinners and store my water bottles and other beverages. I used the washer and dryer once during my stay and this was very convenient. The location is GREAT. It's around 15 minutes from the main city strips of Tucson and feels like it's in the country. It is 5 minutes to the Saguaro National Park, East, and I went there most mornings for walks. I highly recommend the Inn at Civano. I hope to return for another visit. Room Tip: Pima room best for 1 person or 2 people who do not have a lot of stuff/luggage. Pima room is downst... See more room tips

Lovely Stay, Wonderful Accommodations
First time to Tucson and I could not have picked a better place. The community of Civano is real gem. It is a lovely place to rest in an otherwise very large city. The proprietors of this establishment are extremely gracious and accommodating. It felt like home shortly after my arrival, clean well-appointed rooms. Easy access to major freeways and other parks and amenities. You can't go wrong here. Beautifully landscaped back patio to enjoy. Loved it and I am returning again in November.

We enjoyed our stay
I wanted to leave a review because I thought the Inn at Civano was a treat for my wife and I. The inn keepers are very helpful and tried to make our stay pleasant. We have been to Tucson before and always marvel at the flora and fauna. This community is well landscaped. The Inn is very clean and has all the amenities. Lots of art, history, reading materials, and even cable TV, if you have no imagination. We didn't have time to do any walkies, but the Saguaro National Park is very close and we saw plenty of bikers/hikers. The October time of year was cooler, and some plants were flowering.

Generous comfort plus a little luxury
Travelling is often hard work and feeling one has arrived home and being able to kick back, enjoy a clean, spacoius and beautifully appointed home away from home with all possible requirements covered, is a real treat. The Inn an Civano offers all of this as well as peace and tranquility. I'd recommend the Inn for anyone interested also in experiencing how a green village really works. We loved wandering through the zeroscaped and treed streets looking at the sensitively New Mexican inspired architecture with the dramatic back drop of mountains and hearing coyotes howling at night! The hosts were generous and thoughtful and well liked by locals also who see the Inn as a real asset to the community.
