Had a fun stay at the Church House. Great location, loved the outdoor space, had everything you needed. Great place to stay if you are biking the Hiawatha Trail. The town was very cute. Would stay here again.

Fun Stay in Wallace!
My husband and I were hosting our cousins from Germany and driving from Seattle to Bozeman and decided to break it up with a stay at The Church House! The space was wonderful, exactly what we needed! The house was very clean and comfortable. And, had all amenities you could need! We enjoyed making dinner in the great kitchen, eating around the table, and chatting in the living and outdoor spaces. Beds were super comfy! Very much appreciated the unique space and decorations! We wish would would have stayed more than one night, to enjoy all that Wallace has to offer. We would highly recommend a stay here!

We'll be back
Three of us had a lovely 2-night stay while hiking the Pulaski trail and biking the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes. We've been to Wallace many times but had never stayed at the Church House. We'd definitely stay there again. Lots of space in the courtyard to lock up the bikes, super comfy beds and living room, and black-out curtains in the bedrooms so we could go to bed early to be ready for the next day's adventure. Walking distance to everything in town. The chicken salad at the Gastropub was delicious and the bartenders were great. Two minor drawbacks: (1) freeway noise audible in the king bedroom, for which the owners nicely provided earplugs; I skipped the earplugs, pretended it was white noise, and slept like a rock. (2) much of Wallace is closed on Tuesdays this time of year, so our dinner options were somewhat limited. This might not be an issue a later in the season. Overall, a delightful getaway and excellent accommodations.

A unique venue and we greatly enjoyed it. Although the weather was a bit snowy, we had a great time visiting shops and restaurants in town. We appreciated the little touches that make the house very interesting and fun.

Charming Getaway!
Through the miracle of Facebook, a dear friend from high school and I have reconnected after 45 years. We chose the the Church House in Wallace this October to enjoy each other's company and the historical lessons Wallace has to offer. We could not have been more delighted by our choice. The Church House was immaculate, comfortable and charming! It's within walking distance to all the Wallace downtown hotspots.

Great experience!
Thank you Barb and Stub for the nice accommodations. It worked out great to have everything available for cooking our meals. You’ve done a great job of keeping the original look and feel of the historic church. We love the look and feel of Wallace.

Beautiful Cottage, Lovely Stay
Everyone was so amazed of the beauty of the cottage. It gives you the feeling of Home away from home. With the snowfall in mind, the kids enjoyed the front and backward. But Who enjoyed it the most? My Golden Retriever, Jazz. He wants to be out most of the time. The living room is the best place to gather together. The Sun room/ Dining room is also amazing. Most likely, we will recommend. Surely, we will come back. Thank you Strother Family!

Reindeer Cottage Wrightwood CA
When we drove up to the delightful cottage. I felt like I arrived in a different county. Lilac brush touched the mountain breeze with radiant fragrance. I thought of my Norwegian mom who passed a few months earlier when I saw all the reindeer decorations and the the Norway magnet on the refrigerator door. The town was close by and the homemade soup at Jensens Market was tasty. It was so nice to wake up in the morning look outside and see the tall pines and the snow on the mountain. We even got sprinkled with a few tiny snowflakes during our stay. I loved the sauna and releasing all the stress. Wish we could have stayed a few more days. We booked another trip for a weekend this summer, We left our touch on the cottage by leaving behind a hand painted small Christmas reindeer on the shelf in the downstairs bedroom.

Beautiful Mountain Home
We enjoyed our stay in you lovely home. It is very spacious and comfortable. We had hoped for more snow—but it rained instead. Use of fireplace, with plenty of wood was perfect. Wrightwood is a cute town with some good restaurants. We’ll be back-any time of year would be fun! Thanks, Roberts family

Owls Nook and Blue Jay Chalet Stay
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Owl's Nook during our recent trip to Wrightwood. The cabin was clean, cozy, and extremely comfortable. It was more roomy than expected, and the fenced yard was ideal for us. Any questions we had once we arrived were immediately answered by the owner, Barbara, which was unexpected and very much appreciated. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided at the last minute to try to extend our stay. Owl's Nook was booked but they were able to accommodate us in Blue Jay Chalet. They made our change of location incredibly easy. The Chalet was gorgeous but very homey at the same time. We were so grateful that we were able to stay another night. We hope to visit again vey soon and can't imagine staying anywhere else. Thank you Barbara, Stu and the Stay in Wrightwood family for making our stay so enjoyable. We'll definitely be back again!

A Magical Wrightwood Weekend!
Thank you SO MUCH Barbara and the whole StayInWrightwood.com family! To anyone considering choosing one of your cabins, I will say there's no reason to hesitate - you will be completely delighted!! Not only was Bluejay Chalet neat and tidy, this inviting home is everything described and so much more! The back porch is the perfect spot to enjoy the forest haven with a beer or a glass of wine. Inside, the ambiance of each room invokes the peace of the forest and feels like a true getaway. Bluejay Chalet had everything we needed for our three day trip, whether we wanted to seal up a bag of chips, light the fireplace, make a stack of pancakes, or anything else that came to mind! If the deposit is daunting there is no need to worry, even with my dog, my own kids, and my brother who stopped by with his kids, we easily left the cabin just as we found it and Barbara (true to her word) promptly returned the deposit in full within a week! It's a non-issue, which I'm so grateful for. Ultimately, spending three days in this beautiful home was a true dream come true! Not only is this gorgeous home warm and welcoming, it's fascinating too! My kids and I were absolutely intrigued with the many items big and small from all of their world travels! My youngest particularly loved seeing the worldwide Pokemon championship trophies! To anyone considering choosing any of these cabins, it's very clear that Barbara cares about the small things that make a cabin a true home-away-from-home. Everything we needed was right there, even a wine opener and those little things that in the past I would have to run into a market to buy, like a lighter to get the fire going. I'm a single mom who for many years thought Big Bear was my only option for showing my "city slicker" kids the woods. Having organized many cabin trips, I've normally had to drive back out after settling the kids in, just to find a market because I forgot something simple like a can opener - wow, it was a huge relief to walk into a lived-in, much-loved home. Now that I've found Wrightwood, and StayInWrightwood.com, I know I can skip that scary winding cliff and just head right into Wrightwood for fun in the snow or the summery woods. My kids saw snow for the first time. My brother and his wife, who themselves are world travelers, are now convinced they want to stay in Wrightwood too! We all had the time of our lives and I had the most hassle-free cabin trip ever! Thank you so much!!

Amazing
We had an amazing time at Little Pines Cabin. The cabin was adorable and perfect! The decor was warm and the cabin was very clean! It was bigger ,and had more room, than I had thought it would have. The cabin had everything we needed! There was a major snowstorm and the heater kept us cozy when we were inside, with a full kitchen we made our lunches and dinners! Everything felt cozy and comfortable- I felt like we were at a friend’s house! The check in and out was simple! We were given everything we needed, from information about the cabin and the city, to extra blankets and necessities. We can’t wait to return! We love the cabin!! The inside and outside was just perfect!

I think we just started a new family tradition. This was an awesome trip that was very much needed for my family. There were lots of games in the garage for the kids and a big back yard. The Hideaway has a nice little wood burning stove that warmed the room nicely and the main house had a fireplace that kept us warm. Christmas morning was a bonus to wake up and see a thin layer of snow in the yard.

Exceeded Expectations!
We stayed two nights in the Owl's Nook prior to the start of Angeles Crest 100. Not only was it close and convenient to the starting line, the cabin itself was fantastic. My family passed the time here, playing games, watching tv and just relaxing. Very roomy with all the amenities you needed. We will definitely be back. A++!

Couldn't have been more perfect!
This cabin was just so cute, and the area is gorgeous. The cabin had everything we needed to call it our home for a few days. Cozy, nicely decorated, and just adorable! Sweet little town with plenty to do. Hiking close by. Really feels like we got away. Barbara, the owner, was so available to us for any questions. Reindeer Comfort
First I must commend the owners for their helpfulness, every question or wish we had, they were fast to respond. So we thank you immensely! The cottage is great, beds were comfy, outdoors were lovely. It's too bad we didn't stay longer really. The shower had plenty of power and the grill worked wonders for the hungry bellys. If you're thinking about staying in Wrightwood I highly recommend you give the Reindeer Cottage a stay.

Unforgettable Trip!!!
Planned a spring break trip with my two kids and their 4 friends. It’s was definitely memorable, not only for the kids, but for the adults as well. The kids played outside and then would play board games or charades in the cabin. It was a site to see, being that many kids are so involved on their electronically devices these days. It was great quality time and we will surely book again in the future!
