We were very pleased that we chose to stay at the Amble Inn Bed & Breakfast. Our room was very cozy, comfortable and clean. Our hosts, Ann and Jeff were very hospitable, friendly and shared ideas with us for things to do and see. Each morning we were greeted and served a very delicious home cooked breakfast. Would definitely come back for a stay and highly recommend it.

Enjoyed your great breakfasts which gave us the energy to start the busy, fun times we had going back to all the exciting things to do in the Saugatuck area. Jeff, hope you were able to capture "Ambling Annie" and relocate her! Dale said you were also running low on your flyers @ Fenn Valley. This place was great, very clean and cozy, great breakfast each day and the host were extremely friendly. It’s not a big place but the grounds are kept up nice with places to do things outside. Less than 5-10 min to downtown Douglas and Saugatauk.

We carefully reviewed your reviews and found the cleanliness and charm to be just as we expected from the comments and pictures. That was a welcome confirmation. But the special attention given to our questions and interest in your projects at the inn really made for an enjoyable time. And perhaps best of all was the fabulous, full – on breakfast in the “barn”. Delicious and sumptuous. We enjoyed seeing the woodworking, landscaping and the renovations, a lot artistry and effort . The amble iinn is a memorable place that is just what you hope for: A great value combined with pride of place. Thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Amble Inn. The room was very cute, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful as were the owners/hosts of the Inn. Hope to come back in the future.

The yard and garden around Amble Inn are peaceful and lovely, and the Inn itself is almost surrounded by woods, providing a quiet and private stay. Our host and hostess are friendly and accommodating. I'd recommend the Amble Inn to anyone who enjoys charming and rustic surroundings, but with modern amenities.

The Amble Inn is charming, comfortable and the owners Jeff and Anne are wonderful people. They go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are spotless! The snacks, breakfast in the am and the lovely fire pit out back are nice touches. I would highly recommend the Amble Inn for a nice rustic and comfortable stay for a nice price! The other great draw to this place is not having a minimum night stay!

We stayed at the Amblin last Sunday for the last night of a mini vacation/long weekend to Michigan and it was a lovely place. The locale, service and charming log-cabin room made it a great stay. With also being super close to berry and peach picking in Fennville, and the beach & town activities in Saugatuck, the Amble Inn was a great place that we'd love to see again very soon.

We spent one night at the Amble Inn and it was delightful. The owners are attentive to your needs! The room was small but impeccably clean. A delicious breakfast was served. We will keep them in mind the next time we travel to Saugatuck/ Douglas area.

We have already re-booked ourselves in two weeks and will be bringing our out-of-town guests. Looking forward!

We stayed one night in February 2017 and were very happy. The rooms were very nice, the breakfast in the morning was delicious and it was fun to visit with the owners and other guests. We will definitely stay again and refer The Amble Inn to friends and family.

From Anne's friendly greeting at the office door to departing photos with Pippin, the sweetest cat, my two-day stay was warm and welcoming. The rustic inn caught my eye on-line as well as the economical price and close proximity to Saugatuck/Douglas. Anne and Jeff have a B&B gem combining the ambiance of years gone by, outstanding food, and genuine hospitality. The breakfast barn is unique in all my years of B&B's. It is a showcase of Jeff's carpentry skills and Anne's decorating charm. Each morning they joined me for breakfast. You will feel cared for and appreciated, sleep in comfort, and enjoy the best breakfast ever.

Thank you so much again for being such wonderful hosts. My boyfriend and I try to come here once a year, and every year we have stayed has been comfortable and perfect. See you next year! :-)

My wife and I really enjoyed our recent stay at the Amble Inn. The room was sweet and nostalgic, if a bit small. But the bed was very comfortable and the inn feels homey. The highlight of the visit was the wonderful breakfast, served family style in the converted barn. The food was great and the conversation with the other guests and the owners was even better! Recommended.

Fond of log cabins and nature and good food and companionship the Amble Inn was a wonderful combination of all four... Really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning later this summer. Can't wait.

We are so happy to have chosen the Amble Inn when we wanted to visit Saugatuck but regret to have stayed just 1 night. It is a real traditional motorlodge and the log rooms are so cozy, warm and clean and with all the amenities you need. Hospitality and breakfast were overwhelming. As the Amble Inn is located just off the highway we were afraid it might be loud - but it was not at all. As we are from Germany we are not that often in the area, but if we should be close again we would definitely stay there again. If you look for a quiet, intimate place in the Saugatuck/Douglas area and if comfort is your weakness - the Amble Inn is the perfect place!

Our stay was perfect. We only stayed one night, but Jeff and Anne were extremely kind and we had everything we could possibly need. The room was very comfortable and welcoming. And our breakfast was delicious! Very highly recommended (I have already sent my coworkers the link, in case they are ever in the area!) We will definitely be back someday. Thank you Jeff and Anne!

We had a nice one night stay here the first week of October. The room, while small because of the queen bed, was lovely, the bed was nice and firm, and the sheets smelled so good and were so very soft. I'd recommend this quaint inn to everyone for a stay in Saugatuck. The next morning breakfast was also delish! Thanks Jeff and Anne!

Great place! Very charming rustic charm and very clean! We will opt for bigger room next time, mainly for all the stuff we bring! We were treated to a wonderful breakfast and great conversation. You don't find many places where the owners not only give you a tour, but make sure you don't need anything AND sit and talk with you over breakfast!

We have a really nice stay at the Amble Inn. The Queen Suite was a nice size for the three of us. It was extremely clean and comfortable. Ann and Jeff were very accommodating and made our stay very comfortable. Breakfast was really good- they even changed our serving time to accommodate our schedule. We'd love to stay there again the next time we visit Saugatuck.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Amble Inn. We had 3 rooms and everyone in our party thought it was a fantastic place and we will be back next year. The owners have done great things with the place and we look forward to our return next year to see more changes that are in the works. The breakfast was a huge added bonus - the food was awesome! Thanks again for the great hospitality - and we will be back in 2016!!

I had a perfectly delightful stay at The Amble Inn and hope to go back. Anne and Jeff have done a wonderful job of updating this lodge with very comfortable bedding and an incredibly delicious breakfast just to mention a couple of items. They are doing a beautiful job on the grounds as well. They are very interested in meeting your needs without being bothersome at all. I truly enjoyed the stay and their friendship. You will not be disappointed if you visit. I visited as a single female and found it to be very peaceful and secure as well as conveniently located to the surrounding towns.

4 of us stayed here for a girls getaway weekend. Stayed in the queen suite because we didn't want to be cramped in a small room. It was PERFECT! Very comfortable queen bed, and 2 fold out couches. Plenty of room! Nicely decorated, quiet, relaxing, and even had our own private patio. Suite and bathroom were very CLEAN, new bedding, new plush towels, microwave, mini fridge, etc.... The owners are so accommodating and detail oriented. The Breakfast barn is a great comfortable place as well and very nicely decorated. Food was delicious and creative as well. Jeff is a woodworker and had fabulous wooden puzzles for sale that were a must. The place is perfect, I would not change a single thing! We WILL be back!

Nice place to stay. Blueberry pancakes were delicious. If you go in the back at night you can see a ton of stars. I'd definitely stay here again.

Lovely place. Very welcoming. Jeff and Anne were amazing. Bed was comfortable and loved the luxurious bedding. Breakfast was hearty and delicious and we enjoyed the woodworking purchases we made. We have already received great comments on them. We loved the outdoor seating areas. If we come up to the area again we would plan to stay there.
