We have been coming to the Smoky National Park since I was a little girl. About five years ago we discovered Townsend. It is the perfect location for our many trips into nature. I have regretted having to pay such high amounts for a hotel room that may or may not be clean. So this year I begged my mom to let me just check for a cabin. I fell in love with yours within five minutes of searching. Our cabin was so clean and comfortable! We wanted to live their forever. Your cabin was so welcoming to us while we were here. The only issue we had was pertaining to the hot tub not turning on. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK...probably sooner than usual now that we have Black Bear Ridge!

Our cabin was secluded and relaxing. We especially enjoyed the front porch and our kids loved their first experience in a hot tub. The cabin was small but cozy with comfy furniture and a great king bed. Only drawback was their was only a partial wall on bedroom which isn't good when your trying to get a baby to go to sleep at night. Also cleaning personel didn't seem to be on the ball as counters were dirty and windowsils had lots of dust and dead flies. Other wise we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to go thru this company again - only we would want a cabin with solid walls seperating the bedroom. Owners were very helpful and polite when we called with questions about lock and VCR even when it was late.

We had a great time at the beach, and loved all the options at the condo including the pools, lazy river, water side, and the vendor services a the beach. The view from the condo was beautiful and the balcony is great for dining outside. We recommend this place especially for people needing wheelchair access.

We rented your house in Gulf Shores this past week. We just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed staying at your place. The accommodations were better than expected. I must tell you that we waited until the last minute to rent a house and we were highly disappointed that we didn’t get to stay at a condo on the beach. We felt like we had “settled” on your place. Let me tell you, there was no settling. God was really looking out for us when he closed all doors and opened this one for us. We had a great time and the kids had a great time too. They are 9 and 7 and they loved being able to fish, loved the pool, and loved the yard where they had plenty of room to run and toss a football. There was plenty of space for all of us to feel comfortable and loved the accommodations. My husband and I were talking about how neither of us had any back pains from sleeping on a bed not our own. Usually, when we stay in a hotel for this long of a period, we start to feel it in our back. This was not the case at all. We also enjoyed the kitchen and its amenities and liked having access to a barbecue pit for cooking hamburgers. We were in town for a baseball World Series and so there were many in our group staying in different areas around town. One of the guys from another group that stayed at a beach condo stopped by and he was in awe of your place. We spent the same amount of money to stay at your place than they did at the condos. Granted, at the condos, there is a beach view, but the views from your house were more our style. One more thing , I am a runner. I managed to get in a three mile run all within the gated area!! It was a fantastic run in a safe environment without any traffic! If we are in the area again, we will look at your place first! Thanks again!

Thank you so much the phenomenal stay last week. Your condo is in phenomenal condition and you guys have made sure that every detail is taken care of. The unit is incredibly decorated in a way that is highly functional but maintains open space for families to assemble together in the living room/dining room. The beds are top quality and comfortable, with great quality bed linens and bath linens. We appreciated your quick attention to resolve the problem we were having with the front door lock. This is a great unit in the heart of Orange Beach/Gulf Shores with a great swimming pool/lazy river as well as access to the beach. Thanks so much for a great stay!

We always enjoy our stay at these cabins. They are so homey and have everything to make our stay so pleasant. They are beautifully decorated and so well maintained and clean. Cabins are in a wonderful location. Close enough to do whatever you want with just a short drive. Close to Cades Cove, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge yet on a secluded road. Could sometimes hear neighbors but not looking in their windows as with other rentals.

We can't say enough about how much we loved staying at Black Bear Hollow. We stayed in Bear Creek Cabin all the way in the back. It was nice and quiet after a long day out and about. My wife loved being in the back surrounded by greenery. My young daughter loved the loft which had to be accessed by stairs. The cabin was clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed and then some. The location was perfect and close to everything yet far enough away to keep it peaceful. We went for a couple of late evening strolls and loved seeing the fire flies and also checked out the bear cave. The only improvement I would make is adding some new window blinds. Sunrise comes early in the summer and the street lights outside (well needed or it would be dark) tend to light up the room when sleeping. We plan on returning every couple of years and we will definitely be booking with Black Bear Hollow Cabins again

In our crew we had 16 family members for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. We took them for all expense paid vacation. The cabin exceeded our expectations. We had a little trouble with trip advisor and the cabin owners called and fixed it right away. The cabin was clean with plenty of space! Our GPS took us right to the cabin with no trouble. Beautiful cabin wonderful owners! Thanks for a great vacation!

Our family truly enjoyed the beautiful cabin - the views were spectacular, the accommodations very clean and comfortable, and it was an incredible experience for all. My family loved staying in our cabin. Any questions we had were answered within minutes by email to the owners. They have excellent communication. The cabins are nearby a lot of activities and restaurants which is nice for families. There is a horseback riding tour and lazy river tubing minutes away. Cades Cove is very close too.

We are hard working farmers from Ohio and vacations are few and far between so we choose where we go carefully and this cabin was the right choice location was awesome close to pegion forge and Gatlinburg but far enough away to stay away from hustle and bustle beautiful view very comfortable and relaxing had great time thx the longs

This cabin was fantastic for our family. The location was perfect off of Wears Valley Road, it offered many household essentials, it was spacious, and the views were breathtaking! We also were impressed by the cleanliness of the cabin and the little details that were added to make our stay more accommodating. We will definitely return and book this cabin!

Stayed 4 nights absolutely beautiful. Sat on the deck for hours just enjoying. So quite you can almost hear yourself BLINK! Perfect location far enough away to be alone close enough to be in the action.

My wife and I spent our 29th wedding anniversary at Paradise View Cabin. It was the first time we had ever rented a cabin and we were not disappointed. Gorgeous views, seclusion and a like new cabin nicely laid out and furnished. We stayed there last weekend and she and I are still talking about it. We arrived Friday, got up Saturday and in no time we were at Newfound Gap. The accessibility is great without the crowds. Each morning, we were awakened by a whippoorwill that brought back memories of my childhood. We highly recommend.

One more stay at Phoenix II West in your Penthouse condo 3001 and it proved just as satisfactory as our prior visits. We had a wonderful family get together and found this 4 bedroom unit in perfect condition. The furnishings are way above average and extremely comfortable. We will be back!

The views from all levels of this cabin were amazing!.. We visit the Smokey Mountains regularly and last year stayed on the Townsend side to escape the traffic and over commercialization. It is peaceful and beautiful in this area. The cabin has everything!. We had a family reunion with plenty of beds and space to spread out. Can't wait to go back!

We were very pleased with the cabin. Very easy to get to. Clean. Nicely kept. There were ample towels (usually in other cabins we have rented there would be one towel each for two people!). The kitchen utensils and dishes were all very well kept. Not sure I would advertise as being next to a stream as we were there during a hard rain and the little trickle of water was just that - a little trickle. Overall we really enjoyed the cabin and would go there again.

Bear Lodge is supreme lodging in every way! It is perfectly located for families who enjoy exploring the national park, while avoiding the bustle of the tourist towns. But, if Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge do spark your interests, Bear Lodge is convienantly located with easy access to either one. We found the cabin to be perfectly clean, with every luxury imaginable!

The start in the Bear Creek Cabin was wonderful. The cabin was in a gated area with other cabins around. It was just the right amount to be secluded from the busy areas of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. In Townsend, we still had sites to see close by and could still enjoy the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas. This stay was so go that we will most certainly be back. The location was top notch and the amenities like the hot tub were excellent! I recommend Black Bear Hollow Cabins for a wonferful stay whether you want a romantic weekend or family vacation.

Had a wonderful time during our stay at your cabin. The cabin was well equiped and very clean and tidy. The only down side to the entire stay was getting the cover of the hot tub on & off. It's heavy and awkward to handle with no room to access anything but one side of the hot tub. Consider installing an assist type cover for easier access. Other than that, everything was perfect!!

We enjoyed our stay at Bear Cave Cabin. Everything was there for us to feel right at home. We've already discussed our next trip. This was our first vacation in quite a while, it was great.

Enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. The rose bushes were in bloom as well as the Mountain Laurel around the cabin. A female hummingbird actually came to the front door in the living room area and hovered as if welcoming us to the cabin. The cabin was well stocked and clean. I always gauge how clean a cabin is by inspecting the stove oven, and it was spotless. I have found that is one item that usually gets neglected in the cleaning process. So kudos to the cleaning staff. Also, Mark and Debbie, you all were very accommodating. Kudos to you, too.

We were looking for a place where my entire family could come together, relax, catch up, and build memories. We found it in your beautiful condo! It was spacious enough for us all to stretch out without feeling like we were on top of each other and had all the amenities we could possibly enjoy. Our ages ran from 62 years to 10 months. We swam in the pool, floated the lazy river, lazed on the beach, played tennis, played miniature golf, shopped and a few even went zip-lining! Memories were made! Thank you for providing such a lovely, well equipped, comfortable place where we could feel right at home! We will definitely be back again!

Beautiful log house with everything to make you feel right at home. We have stayed at some of their other cabins and are never disappointed. The views are breathtaking. We usually take a couple days and just stay at the cabin and enjoy the peace and quiet. Everything is comfortable, clean and well maintained. We come for the views and to get away. We will definitely be back. We saw 5 bear, a coyote and deer and turkey the day we went into the park. Next time we want to bring our adult kids and the grandkids and we will have plenty of room ar a Over the Rainbow!

We loved the cabin and this was our third time in this cabin and love it.

Great cabin, very clean, only 30 minutes from Cades Cove where saw coyote, foxes, lots of wild turkeys, bears and their cubs, and deer. Beautiful area!

The place met our needs perfectly, a spot slightly off the beaten path, but still close to everything. The location was ideal, nice and quiet with great views. The house had everything we needed for four guys on a golf trip, big TV, comfy couch and decks facing both east and west to catch the early morning sun for coffee and the late afternoon for a cool one (or two) overlooking the marina. Would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking to stay in the Gulf Shores area that didn't want to be too close to the activity around the beaches

This cabin was the perfect location for our wedding. We had a small ceremony on the deck with the mountain view as our back drop. We loved the seclusion and privacy. We will definitely be back. Hopefully for our first anniversary.

This was our 3rd year staying at Black Bear Ridge, and will be back. Love the secluded location. We started everyday with a soak in the hot tub listening to the birds waking up. As always, the cabin was beautiful, and very well maintained.

What a wonderful experience from the moment we arrived. Everything was top notch and easy to access. We had a family vacation that will be remembered forever as our son proposed to his soon to be wife. The condo was beautiful as were the sites from the 30th floor. We loved the dolphins, smells of the beach, sounds, sand, sun, the balcony but mostly being together in what felt like our home. We cannot wait to return!!!

Thank you for sharing your "little piece of heaven on earth" called the Precious Memories cabin. The views were spectacular and the home had a fabulous layout to give everyone their space. We enjoyed the quiet side of the smokies while hiking, horseback riding (Davy Crockett rocks) and visiting the various sites. We even got to see a mother bear with her bear cubs driving over to Newfound Gap and Clingman's Dome. The weather was fabulous all weekend and we feel so blessed to have all the happy memories from our week at your cabin. We look forward to our next stay.

My husband and I were celebrating our 17th year married! We had beautiful weather. So we got to take full advantage of the gorgeous views from our cabin. Our cabin was clean and fully loaded with everything we could possibly need. We will return in the near future.
