We really enjoyed staying at Bear Mountain. Loved the secluded setting. The layout of the cabin was just right for us. We have stayed at a lot of different cabins over the years and this is our favorite by far. We plan on staying here again.

My husband and I celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary this past weekend at Bear Cave cabin. The cabin could not have been more perfect! It was cozy, comfortable, and spotlessly clean! Thank you so much for providing a place that we could get away from it all and enjoy each other without distractions! We absolutely plan to return (maybe we'll even bring the kids next time! ;) )

From the moment we first stepped into "Over the Rainbow", we knew that this trip was going to surpass any of our prior vacations to the mountains! Ten family members traveled from Ohio, Nebraska, & SC to celebrate Dad's 80th Birthday together to one of his favorite vacation destinations. This clean, well-appointed cabin has it all: Amazing mountain views from every location, 3 huge decks, plus romantic bedroom balconies, comfortable outdoor seating & dining areas, relaxing jetted hot tub, & a new gas grill! That's just the exterior! The interior cabin is gorgeous too! It was clean, smelled fresh, has pretty cabin decor, with plenty of space for us to hang out together in the kitchen/dining areas or in the beautiful Great Room with enough comfortable seating for everyone! We had a blast watching the game & our own DVD movies in the lower level theatre room! There are 10 comfy recliners with cup holders, big screen TV, & surround sound to give that real cinema-like experience! The private cabin setting felt as if we were on our own mountain with no other cabins nearby, but on the flip-side, we felt secure knowing our road was safely gated. Those of us who liked to get out & about enjoyed many of the nearby attractions: Clingman's Dome, Cade's Cove, Dollywood, the Arts & Crafts Circle & the new Skylift in Gatlinburg. Make sure you stop in at the little cabin craft store near the Fawn Hollow Gate...it's run by a Presbyterian Group as a ministry for talented Appalachian crafters. We all found lovely little treasures to buy there! It was sad to leave this gorgeous, family-friendly cabin home & it's amazing mountain views! We sincerely hope to come back again next year! One last important detail: the owners, Mark & Debbie, are very personable & kind people to work with. We had to head up from SC earlier than planned due to the effects of Hurricane Irma & they were quite understanding & accommodating. We felt truly blessed to spend this Milestone Celebration together at "Over the Rainbow"! Our Dad can't stop talking about it! Thanks again, Mark & Debbie!

My family and I stayed in the Paradise View cabin to escape Hurricane Irmaand we couldn't have been more pleased. We were so impressed with how beautiful, new, and clean everything was. We will definitely recommend Black Bear Hollows Cabin to everyone we know. We can't wait to go back. Thank you Danny and Tara for making us feel like we had a home when ours was too dangerous to stay in. Nothing but compliments on the cabin it really is everything it's described to be and more. Pictures show it's beautiful but they don't do it justice, it's much more amazing in person.

This was our 3rd time staying with Black Bear Hollow. Will be making reservations for next year soon. Mark is great to work with. Clean, cozy and affordable. Townsend is close to anything you want to do or see, it is our favorite location in the Smoky Mountains.

We left Smoky Mountain Memories Cabin with precious memories! It was all we expected and more - clean, cozy, comfortable, convenient, and central for us 4 siblings and our spouses, ages 70 - 82 from Alabama, Ontario, and Pennsylvania. After 7 years of not being all together, this was just the right place. The handicap facilities were excellent, the views from the deck were fantastic and the rustic cabin was beautiful! If the Lord blesses us with good health and lide, we'll be back!

This cabin is all around AMAZING! It definitely has a paradise view, very secluded! Always use this rental company but we have stayed in different cabins every time but will be returning to paradise view!! Very clean this cabin went above expectations

What a wonderful time at this cabin. We selected this cabin for a small family reunion/vacation which consisted of my Mom & Dad, my two siblings and my daughter and son-in-law. From the time that I made my reservation to the time of our departure that staff at Black Bear Hollow Cabins was outstanding. They answered every question I had extremely timely. The cabin was more than I had expected or anticipated. What a lovely private area that is convenient to everything. We even had a bear visit a few nights which made it all that much more exciting! Thank you so much for making our stay a wonderful experience!

The was perfect for us! We were a family party of three 50+ ladies and four under 30 young people. The cabin was spacious and so very comfortable. I was awakened two mornings at 6:15 by a knocking on the window. The second morning I caught the culprit in the act - it was a cardinal! We had a bear cross the property, adding to the experience. We were close enough to Townsend to be able to visit Cades Cove, Tuckalechee Caverns, River Rat, and antique shopping with ease. Evenings and mornings were peacefully enjoyed at the cabin. We loved our stay and hope to return again soon. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Beds were comfy & it is beautiful there. Enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after a busy day. We will be back for sure.

The we rented was wonderful. Perfect for my whole family of 14 to spend time together during my son's wedding weekend festivities. Plenty of towels, pillows and blankets. Unit was very clean. The air hockey, pool table and movie room was a huge hit with the 5 kids. Thank you so much for making the weekend even more special for our family.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the cabin! It was nice, clean and secluded. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the decks admiring the spectacular views, listening to nature and even getting the occasional visit from a squirrel. If we return to the area, we will definitely consider staying here again!

Really enjoyed the cabin, the size was perfect and the openness and light were very enjoyable. The mountain views from every window were spectacular. We loved the location and the ease of the entrances to the GSNP, the caverns, and the Railroad Museum. Townsend was a pleasant surprise, everything we needed but none of the clutter of Pigeon Forge. We certainly plan on coming back!

Absolutely loved staying here. It is situated in a perfect location between two wonderful cites, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We will be back, hopefully during the snow.

The cabin was perfect for our sibling vacation. There were 9 of us and we had plenty of room. The view was beautiful, even when it was cloudy. We enjoyed several games of pool, early mornings out on the deck and walking up the road. We didn't have any hotpads for the stove, but when I called they were very good about bringing us some the next day and would have that night yet if we wanted them too. The cabin was clean. We didn't have any trouble with the dish service. The wi-fi was a little slow, but our regular phone services worked with no problems. The pool table is getting worn, but it was still fun. We used the hot tub once, the gas grill worked well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We are so thankful that you have opened your cabin to us once again! We enjoyed ourselves and got to stay longer this time. We stayed in a different cabin this time and it was more private. We love this time that we get to get away and spend with each other. Everything was GREAT!! Can't wait to do it again next year and the years to come.

This was one of the most relaxing vacations we've ever had. Stayed a week with my wife, brother, and sister in law. Enjoyed the quiet outdoors on the decks, in the hot tub, and around the fire pit. This cabin is close enough to are attractions by taking an easy ride if you want to.

We have rented cabins in the Rockies several times and this cabin was one of the nicest we've seen. Very quiet and private. My bride of 44 years said it was just like another honeymoon.

Loved driving right to the cabin with a door code / security code. Made it easy. Would recommend this cabin to anyone. Really nice stay. Would love to come back when we could stay a while longer.

Everything that we could want for our family's stay in a vacation home! We all loved the view, the privacy, the cabin itself, and the fact that it was obviously well taken care of. We will be returning!

The cabin was absolutely wonderful. The view was amazing. The pictures did it no justice. Was located near everything within 15-20 min drive. The drive up to the cabin was descent roads not narrow and to curvy like some. Would diffently recommend this for anyone in a large group. There is enough room for everyone to have there space. There were 5 adults and 6 teenagers with us. They loved the pool table and hot tub. Would diffently stay here again.
